Smartphones are widely used in healthcare settings, including Intensive Care Units (ICUs), and are recognized as vectors for the transmission of pathogenic microorganisms, as well as potential reservoirs of germs that facilitate the spread of infections. This qualitative study aims to explore the perceptions of healthcare teams about the use of smartphones in hospital settings, considering the risks and dangers associated with handling these devices. The research was conducted in an ICU of a large hospital in the Triângulo Mineiro region, using in-depth interviews with healthcare professionals. The questionnaire, consisting of 29 questions (11 sociodemographic questions and 18 in interview format), revealed that smartphones are frequently used during patient care, even at times that require great attention. Although participants disinfect their devices, they do not follow standardized protocols, which compromises the effectiveness of the process. Smartphones provide quick access to information and facilitate interaction between professionals from different departments and hospitals. However, their constant use can impair the concentration and productivity of healthcare professionals. The study found that, despite guidelines to avoid the use of smartphones in the ICU, professionals continue to use these devices for various purposes, often indiscriminately. Inadequate disinfection of smartphones increases the risk of infection, contradicting prevention measures and compromising patient safety. This study highlights the need for specific disinfection protocols and the development of policies that regulate the use of smartphones in critical environments such as the ICU, aiming to minimize the risk of infection and ensure the safety of immunocompromised patients.

Population growth and economic expansion have led to significant environmental challenges stemming from the emission of various effluents (industrial, domestic, and agricultural) and the combustion of fossil fuels, resulting in the release of substantial quantities of greenhouse gases. It is imperative to develop strategies for the degradation of organic and fostering the production of renewable fuels, such as green hydrogen (H2). In this context, the application of the semiconductor Nb2O5 in heterogeneous photocatalysis has garnered attention due to its potential for facilitating both the oxidation of organic pollutants through radical species and the generation of fuels via solar irradiation. However, to date, Nb2O5 remains relatively underexplored for this purpose. Consequently, the primary aim of this study was to compare two synthesis techniques (hydrothermal and direct calcination) and two niobium (Nb) precursors to produce Nb2O5. The materials evaluation using X-Ray Diffraction and Raman Spectroscopy revealed that both the synthesis method and the Nb precursor had an impact on the structural characteristics of the catalysts. Specifically, the use of the ammonium niobium oxalate as precursor in conjunction with the hydrothermal method and calcination at 600ºC resulted in the formation of crystalline phases with pseudohexagonal and orthorhombic structures, respectively. Conversely, the hydrothermal method did not induce structural alterations in the commercially available Nb2O5. In all cases, the materials exhibited a comparable band gap of approximately 3.2 eV. Scanning electron microscopy images exhibited that the hydrothermal synthesis employing the Nb complex yielded materials with a more uniform morphology and smaller particle size, approximately 40 nm. All synthesized materials demonstrated activity in the degradation of the Rhodamine B dye and the Amiloride drug. Notably, the Nb2O5 sample produced via the hydrothermal method exhibited superior degradation performance, attributed to its larger specific surface area. Additionally, the introduction of Pt nanoparticles enhanced the catalytic reaction's efficiency. Consequently, this study elucidates the influence of various Nb2O5 synthesis parameters on its photocatalytic properties and underscores its versatility as a promising material for diverse photocatalytic applications.

Introduction:This study proposes an analysis of the organizational climate and job satisfaction in nursing workers, seeing that work also carries positive elements, which impact on well-being and reduction of weakness throughout the productive life.Method: This is a exploratory study, with a quantitative approach, developed in the university hospital, with 242 active nursing workers. To the data collection were carried three instruments: Sociodemographic and Professional Characterization Questionnaire, the Organizational Climate Scale for Health Organizations (OCSHO), and the Job Satisfaction Questionnaire -S20/S23, valued to the Brazilian context. The descriptive analysis occurred through averages, standard deviation. To the associations between job satisfaction and organizational climate were applied the correlation coefficient of Pearson, and the correlation coefficient of Spearman. To establish comparisons among the score of Job Satisfaction averages according to the categories of the quantitative variables initially was assessed the variance homogeneity through the Barlett test, bearing in mind that the variables presented constant variance, the ANOVA Test, and afterward the post hoc test of Bonferroni for multiple comparisons. Results: It was found that nursing workers feel satisfied, with an overall score of 3.22 points, with the highest index related to intrinsic job satisfaction, with 3.30 points. As for the assessment of the organizational climate, workers reported being favorable, with a score of 3.49, ranging from 1.63 to 5.00 points, with the highest index related to leadership, with 3.81 points. The analysis of the association between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Climate identified a statistically significant correlation between climate and satisfaction, proving that the higher organizational climate score, the greater the job satisfaction. Conclusions: a statistically meaningful correlation between climate and satisfaction was identified, with a highlight to the issues concerning the satisfaction intrinsic to work, leadership, and higher age.It stands out

Across the Sahel, rural producers struggle to maintain viable livelihoods owing to the harsh and variable climate. Unfortunately, climate change is expected to exacerbate many of the challenges they currently face. While a number of adaptive agriculture practices exist, numerous studies have demonstrated that the reasons farmers adopt (or do not adopt) these practices are complex and context dependent.

This work has started with the motivation to understand the sound and psychic condition of the voice In the constitution of the subject, as well as the pathological failure of this structure in autism. We started with the understanding that the subject is the effect of the encounter between the meaningless sense of the real and the meaning of the symbolic/imaginary. The mother figure, by the means of the sound mirror, welcomes what happens in the child s body and assigns corresponding language significants. This mediation is loaded with musical ingredients. The mother seeks to facilitate and promote the invocation by the \"baby talk\". The failure in the circuit of invocation in autistic children was also approached, preventing the constitution of the psychic function of the voice. Thinking the sound-musical context as an operator phenomenon, essencial to subjectivity, made it possible to consider the mediator potencial of music included in treatment. This field research involved to children with constitucional deadlocks, and their motores, in clinical care, whose therapeutic setting made use of sound and musical resources. We intended an approximation of the way the voice, as a lost object, and the word, associate. Furthermore, the possibility of causing a modification of the place of the subject in the circuit of invocation, became a matter from the musical intervention. It is possível to understand that the positioning of the subject is stated in tis musicality: what in it stands says of its way of functioning and of its work of appeasement of the suffering and the trauma of insertion in the field of language. Music nostalgically rescues the origins of the subject in the real and, at the same time, proposes a go further, towards the word. The impact of the loss of juissance, eased through music, shows it as a facilitator of lashing between real and symbolic. The subject modulaton refers to the modulation of the subject in its estruture and in tis position from the intervention with the musical. The modulation of the invocatory drive in the process of structuring of the subject was possible when we took the music as an essential tool of clinical work.

Ademais, as estruturas encefálicas envolvidas nesses efeitos permanecem desconhecidas.
