2021International Conference on Information Technology and Big Data Engineering were successfully held online from 25th to 27th of April 2021, Wuhan, China. The conference was jointly organized and sponsored by Shaanxi Juxing Exhibition Co., Ltd and Juneng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Called by Dr. Wei Wei from Xi'an University of Technology and researcher Jia Han from College of Computer Science, Xi'an Shiyou University, the conference invited scholars and experts in the fields of information technology, big data engineering, computer engineering from various universities to participate in the review and guidance of this conference. Despite growing demand, the information technology (IT) field suffers from a labor shortage compounded by the underrepresentation of women in the IT field. This study examined predictors of occupational and organizational commitment outcomes among IT professionals and explored gender differences and similarities in the relative importance of predictors. 1,229 IT professionals provided web-based survey data, which were analyzed using hierarchical linear modeling and relative weight analysis. Satisfaction with growth opportunities, job security, job stress, and work–family culture generally were related to commitment outcomes as expected, accounting for the greatest variance in organizational commitment. Relative weights for men and women differed in the prediction of occupational commitment, where growth satisfaction and work–family culture were weighted more strongly by women and job stress was more strongly weighted by men. For organizational commitment, the relative weights among predictors were similar for men and women, except that men weighted job security more strongly than women. Findings suggest that garnering commitment to the IT field requires a gender-specific approach, highlighting growth and work–family support for women and addressing job stress for men. Increasing organizational commitment for both men and women calls for an emphasis on opportunities for growth and development. This is the first study to simultaneously examine predictors for organizational and occupational commitment among IT professionals and to assess the relative importance of predictors discussed in the extant literature. Results inform efforts to increase retention in the IT field and provide guidance for improving the representation of women in IT.

The article considers the problem of professional training of future computer science specialists in the field of information technology. The labor market requirements for future computer specialists are considered and it is substantiated that the training of future masters of computer science involves mastering fundamental theoretical knowledge and skills from the mandatory components of professional training in combination with the formation of professional skills to effectively apply professional competencies in practical activities. It is found that an important component of modern higher education for the training of future masters of computer science in the field of information technology is the development of the ability to work on real projects that model or directly reproduce the conditions of future professional activity. It is determined that the educational process of the second (master's) level of higher education should be aimed at training highly qualified future specialists capable of innovative activity, critical and systematic thinking, analytical evaluation of information and making effective decisions in difficult conditions of professional activity; capable of solving professional tasks and creating innovative products and services for the strategic sustainability of the information society and the state's innovation infrastructure. It is outlined that the professional training of future computer science specialists in the field of information technologies at the second (master's) level of higher education is focused on: the formation of professional competencies, deepening of theoretical and practical skills and abilities, strengthening of the integrated system of knowledge, skills and abilities for innovative activity and effective solution of complex professional tasks, development of a high level of professional competencies of education seekers, improvement of analytical thinking and communication culture, integration of theoretical base with practical activity in real projects, acquisition of the ability for continuous professional self-development and self-correction, formation of professional skills of scientific research and project work, improvement of mastery of modern software tools, methodologies and technologies of information systems management, strengthening of fundamental and practical training of individuals in the field of information technologies. The main problems and prospects of training future computer science specialists are substantiated and characterized. It has been established that a key aspect of modern training of future masters of computer science is the formation of the ability to continuous professional development and self-education, which ensures readiness for the rapid integration of new technologies into professional activities.

The development of modern information-communication technologies has enabled the development of electronic knowledge distribution channels that expand the effective level of general and specialist education. This trend is also present in higher education because higher education institutions and institutes increasingly rely on the use of modern information-communication technologies in their operations. The effects of the use of personal computers, the Internet and global social networks are multiple in the higher education system as well. In the process of acquiring new knowledge, developing creativity, as well as ensuring greater activity in the process of education, new learning technologies, with the use of multimedia systems, created the prerequisites for the engagement of all individual and collective resources. The most important source of the state’s competitive advantage is the ability to educate and retain highly educated personnel in the field of information technologies. From that aspect, the paper discusses information technologies as a scientific discipline and general conditions for education in the field of information technologies. The impact of technical and pedagogical changes on education in this area is analyzed with particular attention. It is known that information technologies are suitable for vocational education, and the modern environment sets specific requirements regarding the applicability of knowledge acquired in higher education institutions. The dynamic and turbulent market emphasizes the applicability of knowledge as a key requirement in the educational process. These short researches propose new educational modules that should structure teaching in the field of information technologies in accordance with the global demand in this sector. Every society strives for a more efficient and economical system of education, and therefore the issue of the use of new information technologies in education comes down to the problem of creating a theoretically ideal model of the use of these technologies at all levels of education and work.

The monograph is devoted to the complex of theoretical and applied problems of international legal regulation of countering crimes in the field of information technology. The provisions of international treaties related to the stated problems are subjected to in-depth analysis. The article presents the international legal characteristics of the institutional mechanisms of international cooperation in countering crimes in the field of information technology, as well as the features of the formation of specialized structures in various international organizations whose activities are aimed at countering crimes in the field of information technology, proposals for improving international legal regulation of this area are developed. The article is devoted to analysis of the experience of organizing project work of schoolchildren in the field of information technologies on the basis of a higher educational institution.The peculiarities of the educational process organization, approaches to solving the problem of students’ motivation are considered. The principles of introducing relatively complex and science-intensive technologies into the projects of 10th grade students are discussed. Recommendations for organizing master classes and laboratory works with mastering the methods of image processing, steganography, machine learning are detailed. Emphasis is placed on the recycling of knowledge and skills acquired at school. Considerable attention is paid to visibility, comprehensibility of the results obtained, and the possibility of assessing the applicability of a particular method for solving the tasks of project activities. All works are carried out in such a way that pupils could start research with minimum effort for preparation and would be able to later transfer the learned tools to their individual projects. Much attention is paid to the methodology of project work, and special events are organized, such as pitch sessions of startups, designed to further motivate students, help them to organize their project work in a systematic way, and adjust the goals and objectives of their projects. Some results of the project work of schoolchildren in the field of information technologies during the 2023-2024 academic year on the basis of the National Research University “MPEI” are given.

English with global phenomena in its function as a communication language, (Lingua Franca or ELF), has the consequent emergence of English varieties. The existence of this variety as a result of the diversity of speakers who have mother tongue (L1) differs geographically-demographically also. These varieties occur minimally in the aspects of the lexicon, grammar, and phonology. On the other hand, aspects of local wisdoms (indigenous wisdoms) have the potential to produce linguistic elements. This paper is oriented to the English variety model based on local wisdoms in the development of information technology-assisted learning materials for secondary schools (SMP). A number of potential components of local wisdoms, such as; (1) Customary Ceremonies, (2) Cultural Heritage, (3) Natural Tourisms, (4) Traditional Transportation, (5) Traditional Games, (6) Cultural Infrastructure, (7) Traditional Clothing, (8) Cultural Heritage, ( 9) Museums, (10) Cultural institutions, (11) Arts, (12) Cultural villages, (13) Arts and crafts, (14) Folklore, and (15) Children's puppets, particularly in Lombok island area becoming English learning materials for junior high schools. In the framework of implementing the 2013 curriculum effectively, this elaboration refers to regulations of Permendikbud on Curriculum 2013, Basic Competencies of Curriculum 2013, Review of Curriculum Policy in Language Subjects, Main Thoughts and Recommendations on English Curriculum 2013, and Analysis of Content Standard of English subject for junior high school and senior high school. This is also strengthened by involving relevant institutional elements and the association of teacher council through MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran). Then, materials related to information technology must involve experts in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science who have competence in so-called field. This is done by looking at the diversity of local wisdoms through translation from the first language (Indonesian/regional) to the target language (English). In the process of language translation, the theory that is referred to is the theory of Larson (1998), Meaning-Based Translation which is about the features and relations of semantic components as characteristics possessed by all languages, which consist of; Objects (Nouns and Pronouns, Events (Verbs), Attributes (Adjective and Adverb) and Relations (Conjunctions, Prepositions, Articles, Enclitics, etc.). While in relation with jargon and technical terms, this paper refers to Wuster (1979) theory views that the size of the translation of messages between two languages is based on the characteristics and concept of the message from the elements of meaning.

Behavioral Changes in Recruitment and Its Social Effects

The article explores the issues and problems of conducting forensic examinations of computer hardware and software products when it is necessary to establish the fact of the use of personal computers for providing services in the field of gambling, which is in violation of the current legislation of Ukraine. Weaknesses in the appointment of forensic examination in the context of criminal proceedings concerning the gambling business are considered. Taking into account the above facts, in order to develop and create an effective evidence base, at the stage of pre-trial investigation, it is necessary to establish direct interaction between investigative bodies and experts (experts) in the field of computer engineering and information technologies.

Progress in the fields of computer science and computer engineering has put considerable strain on academic departments to keep the curricula abreast of the "state of the art." This is a constant demand to modernize courses and programs. This usually takes the form of continually adding new courses, and including new material in existing courses.Our solution at the University of Colorado at Boulder has been to share the curriculum between the Departments of Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering wherever possible. The teaching of Assembly Language programming is an example of a course taught to both Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering majors. The course has two semesters of Pascal programming as prerequisites.

The internet of things (IoT) and the fog computing paradigm are the next wave in the era of computing and have been emerging technologies in the fields of computer science and information technology. Prior research concentrates on the integration of IoT and fog computing but is limited because it cannot be extended to all applications due to inadequate security architecture. In this paper, we propose a biocryptography approach using biometric key generation for elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) based on the authentication of fog computing. In biometric-based ECC, a private key is generated via the fingerprint of the user ensures complete protection against security risks such as confidentiality, authentication, integrity, and privacy. The security strengths of various public key cryptosystems are analysed, and ECC is one of the best cryptosystems for fog-based IoT middleware.

Music is a common art and it is a jewel of human civilisation. In the course of music’s development, the evaluation of music teaching is an inevitable step in the development of quality music. Universities are important places that abound with musical souls and their contribution to the development of music has been outstanding. But with the development of the times, university music has been hampered in the field of teaching and learning. As an important branch in the field of computer science and information technology, artificial intelligence technology contains many intersecting and comprehensive subject connotations, bringing brand-new elements to music education. It has also had an important impact on the development of music teaching. The article focuses in depth on the traditional process of music development in terms of the characteristics and ways of teaching music. Based on this, the article further explores the integration of artificial intelligence and music and analyses the role of emerging technologies as an aid to music from the perspective of the times. And this article uses emotion recognition as an evaluation index to explore the evaluation role of artificial intelligence technology in college music teaching, and improve the quality and efficiency of music teaching. The experimental results show that the teacher’s positive emotion rate based on image data is 57.8%, and the student’s positive emotion rate is 44.5%; the teacher’s positive emotion rate based on voice data is 53.3%, and the student’s positive emotion rate is 51.1%. The classroom emotion is negative at 7–13 minutes, the classroom emotion continues to be low at 28–40 minutes, and the teacher and student emotions are more positive at 13–28 minutes.
