The article is devoted to the problem of identifying regional peculiarities of the integral process of formation of normative-legal support for the activity of national education in post-reform Russia. The aim of the article is to present the results of the study of the relationship between the accumulation of organizational and legal knowledge and the applied experience of the implementation of this process at the national and regional levels. Objectives: to characterize the conditions that influenced the formation of normative-legal support for the activity of national schools as an independent direction of nation-state building in the educational system of post-reform Russia. The research was based on the principle of historicism, methods of analysis and comparison, historical-systemic, sociological methods and the method of content analysis. The analysis of the main normative-legal acts that directly or indirectly influenced the national education development demonstrates a rather high professionalism of the developers of the basic ideas of the national policy, which are characterized by external positive motivation. The authors confirmed the hypothesis of the study that in the period under study the normative and legal foundations for the establishment of the national education in Russia were laid, which played a determining role in the birth and development of educational institutions with a national component in Yenisei province. This historical experience was not wasted, but was taken into account in the next attempt to solve the problems of nation-state building and national education in the first decades of Soviet power, which determined the direction and nature of our further research activities from the position of determining the possibility of its use in modern conditions.

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to modernize the information and communication support of medical institutions of Ukraine to improve the quality of medical care and medical services. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, scientific works of leading foreign and domestic scientists, international and domestic regulations on health care. General scientific and special research methods are used to achieve this goal, in particular: the method of system analysis – to study the information and communication support of medical institutions as a system; the method of structural analysis – to study the structure of the software of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks”; the method of comparison – to compare different methods of information processing in the studied medical information system. Findings. The need for modernization of information and communication support of medical institutions is determined. Prospects for the introduction of medical information systems in health care facilities, such as the “Doctor Elex” information system, are substantiated. Examples of introduction of the medical information system "Doctor Eleks" in foreign and domestic medical institutions are considered. The advantages of the researched medical information system “Doctor Eleks” for: management staff, medical staff and registry staff are formed. The software of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks” is analysed in detail in the context of the main modules: “registry”, “doctor”, “laboratory”, “administration”, “templates”. It is proved that the introduction of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks” in the activities of medical institutions will significantly increase the level of coordination of its staff and will positively affect the quality of medical care and medical services. Originality. The mechanism of introduction of modern information technologies in activity of medical institutions as the factor of increase of quality of medical service on the basis of use of the information system “Doctor Eleks”, which is developed for automation of work of medical institutions is offered. Practical value. The detailed analysis of the advantages of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks” can be useful for directors of domestic medical institutions in choosing the priorities of modernization of their information and communication support. Purpose: The aim of the article is a study of the development of the concept of "direct marketing", research of the methodological and informative providing of realization of direct sale in activity of sale enterprises. To achieve the goal, the following tasks are set: systematization, comparison and analysis of theoretical approaches of the Ukrainian and foreign scientists, is to essence of concept "direct marketing"; researches of basic instruments of realization of direct sale by the performers of entrepreneurial activities; determinations of advantages and lacks of the use of the direct marketing are in activity of enterprises; grounds of the use of the direct - marketing are in activity of sale enterprises. Design/methodology/approach: To the article were used methods of comparison, grouping and generalization – for research and analysis of opinion of scientists in relation to development of the direct marketing, method of systems analysis – for systematization of modern forms of the direct marketing and ground of them role in the sale activity of enterprises, and also formulating of conclusions. Findings: The analysis of scientific labours and researches in relation to the use of the direct marketing in activity of the Ukrainian enterprises showed that the direct marketing was the special form, process, method of effective realization of sale of products, in the modern business conditions. 23 Practical implications: Researched in the article modern forms of the direct marketing show 24 that today, their use in the sale activities of enterprises not only facilitates the sale of goods and 25 services at the market, but also allow to form effective, direct of long duration relations with 26 consumers, to choose effective marketing strategy and program of actions, which influences on 27 informing of market environment, growth of having a special purpose audience, increase of 28 volumes, sale and expansion of limits of realization of business. 29 Originality/value: The article contains the validity of the practical use of modern forms of 30 direct marketing in the activities of Ukrainian enterprises: Premium Food (Mr. Grill), LTS 31 “Solomia”, “Rodinna kovbaska”, “Henkel Bautekhnik Ukraine”, TM “Curtis” and others

The purpose of the research is to highlight, on the basis of documents from the archives of the Society of Jesus and periodicals of the time, the missionary activity of the order in Stanyslaviv from 1883 until the beginning of the First World War. In addition, to analyze the social work of the Society of Jesus, particularly the latter’s establishment of religious societies and Marian sodalities. Th e research methodology. Th e article uses general scientifi c methods, particularly the analysis, and synthesis of various sources, induction, and deduction. Th e principles of historicism, objectivity, comprehensiveness, integrity, and systematicity are applied. Th e text uses the approp- riate terminological apparatus, which substantiates the author’s vision of the essence and historical assessment of the missionary initiatives of the Society of Jesus in Stanyslaviv. Th e scientifi c novelty lies in a comprehensive review of the pastoral activities of the Society of Jesus in Stanyslaviv in 1883-1914. Based on the annual reports of the Jesuits, statistical data on various areas of their missionary service are presented. Th ere’s an opinion put forward that the history of the Society of Jesus in Ukrainian lands at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries is sporadi- cally presented in Ukrainian historiography, which strengthens the relevance of the study of the history of Roman Catholic orders in Halychyna. Conclusions. In 1883, the Jesuits had the op- portunity to start a mission in Stanyslaviv, where the Lviv Archbishop of the Armenian Catholic Church Isaac Mykolay Isakovych invited them. At fi rst, the Jesuits were engaged in pastoral care at the Armenian church. Later, they organized the construction of the church of St. Stanislav Kostka and the residence, which became the mission house of the order. It was noted that the scope of the spiritual work of the Society of Jesus unfolded over time. It was indicated that the social activity of the Jesuits, connected with the establishment of Marian sodalities and religious congregations, was carried out in the context of the social policy of Pope Leo XIII.

The article is devoted to the changes in Ukrainian tax policy that occurred due to the beginning of the hybrid war in 2014, as well as the full-scale invasion of russia on 24th of February 2022. The study aims to highlight the peculiarities and practical aspects of the tax policy and the corresponding forced changes – special measures implemented as a reaction to the beginning of the hybrid aggression in 2014 and further to the full-scale invasion on the 24th of February 2022. This will contribute to determining optimal tools and approaches to managing the tax system, which will help ensure the fi nancing of defense, support of the economy, and the stability of the country’s development. The article used the general scientifi c principles of historicism, objectivity, and functionality and an axiological and scientifi cally based approach to data summarization as key methodological tools. All this allows us to assert that in the current conditions of hybrid war, unpredictable challenges, and threats, eff ective and well-founded tax policy should become an important tool for guaranteeing the stability of the state’s development and fi nancial capacity. The meaning of the term “hybrid war” is clarifi ed through the prism of the analysis of diff erent scholars’ approaches to this topic. It is also emphasized that with the development of information technologies, the conditions of conducting such a type of war also change – information technologies become an analog of combat operations. The main attention is paid to researching the governmental and parliamentary approaches refl ected in the relevant normative legal acts, impacted the state tax policy, and were adopted or underwent signifi cant changes during the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war. Key diff erences in the ways of implementing the tax policy at the beginning of the hybrid aggression in 2014 compared with that of the beginning of the full-scale invasion (on the 24th of February 2022) are highlighted. In particular, the purpose of these measures and the reasons for their radical diff erence were investigated and clarifi ed, given the diff erence in terms of their implementation and fi nal goal. An assessment of a number of changes in tax policy according to their chronology, which is specifi ed in the updated regulatory legal acts, was also carried out in terms of their expediency and eff ectiveness. Since the hybrid war and subsequent full-scale invasion are not ordinary phenomena in the contemporary world, the Ukrainian government was forced to implement measures based on the operational situation and its understanding and vision without the opportunity to apply the experience of other countries. That is why not all of the implemented measures were eff ective or opportune. In the conditions of the hybrid war, the development and implementation of an adaptive, balanced, and opportune tax policy guarantee the state’s economic security. Relevance. The relevance of this study is determined by its examination of the dramatic poem «Orgy» through a historical-receptive lens. This approach allows for the identification of the mechanisms behind the author’s interpretation of the historical period and the tracing of the specifics of the reception of Antiquity within the text. Aim. The aim of the article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the dramatic poem «Orgy» by the Ukrainian writer and poet Lesia Ukrainka, utilizing the methodological framework of classical reception studies. It also seeks to identify the mechanisms and reveal the role of these historical borrowings in the context of the author’s vision of Antiquity as a whole, and specifically the Greco-Roman relations from the military conquest of Hellas to the era of the Second Sophistic (2nd century BC – 2nd century AD). Methodology. The research methodology is based on the principles of historicism and objectivity, characterized by an interdisciplinary approach. The theoretical and methodological framework relies on the principles of receptive aesthetics and the concepts of classical reception studies. The study also employs analytical, hermeneutic, and comparative-historical methods. Results. The study establishes that the specificity of the author’s interpretation of historical events, against which the main plot unfolds, lies in chronological hybridization – combining two temporal spaces to provide a deeper elucidation of Greco-Roman relations. It was found that the historical narrative in the work functions as a «safe distance» for constructing analogies between the past and the present. The history and specifics of the perception of Greek culture in the ancient world (from the 2nd century BC to the Second Sophistic period in the 2nd century AD) are examined. It is revealed that the reception of Greek culture by ancient Rome, as described in the text, is based on the principles of selectivity and pragmatism, utilized for cultural appropriation to achieve the political self-determination of the Roman elite and the legitimization of power by the Antonine dynasty emperors. The evolution of the concept of «orgy» in a historical context is analyzed: from a sacred ritual associated with the cult of Dionysus to its interpretation by the recipient – ancient Rome. It is established that throughout the plotline, there is a shift in semantic accents regarding the primary definition of the concept of «orgy», which indicates the conflict of Greek and Roman identities depicted in the work. Conclusions. The obtained results indicate that applying the methodology of classical reception allowed for a holistic disclosure of the mechanisms of assimilation and interpretation of ancient history in Lesia Ukrainka’s dramatic poem «Orgy». The study emphasizes that the author appeals to universal problems, actualizing the issue of Greco-Roman relations during Antiquity (2nd century BC – 2nd century AD) as a model of interaction between dominant and subjugated nations. The semantic transformation of the concept of «orgy» serves as a key marker demonstrating the specifics of the Roman reception of Greek culture. The proposed approach opens prospects for further studies of Antiquity in the context of classical reception within the writer’s creative heritage.

The purpose of the article is to study the economic and legal nature of the franchise agreement in Poland. Since franchising in this country has become the most common way of establishing a business, it is advisable to identify the key economic and legal features of the franchise agreement in which the parties specify their rights and obligations, the franchise price, the duration of the franchise relations, the procedure for performing calculations, etc. The subject of the study is a franchise agreement in Poland. Research methodology. The research is based on the use of general scientific and special-scientific methods and techniques of scientific knowledge. The dialectical method allowed us to investigate the definition of a franchise agreement in Poland and its key terms. The comparative legal method was used to compare doctrinal approaches to this issue. The statistical method was used to establish data that reflects the effectiveness of franchising activities. The method of system analysis helped to find out in which areas of economic activity franchising is most demanded. Interpretation of the content of Polish legal acts governing issues related to the conclusion of a franchise agreement in this country was realized with the help of the normative-dogmatic method. The system-structural method was used to study the franchise agreement in Poland as a single entity (system) with the coordinated functioning of all its elements. The methods of grouping and classifying formed the basis for separating the list of conditions, which are necessary for concluding a franchise agreement in Poland, as well as provisions that should be included in the content of this agreement. Methods of analysis and synthesis helped to study some parts of this agreement to formulate further conclusions. Practical application. The positive experience of Poland in regulating issues related to the conclusion of a franchise agreement can be used for making appropriate changes to the Ukrainian legislation. Although there is no special legislation in Poland, which regulates the issues connected with this kind of contract, the adoption of a number of progressive economic measures, as well as complement existing regulations with the provisions on franchising, allowed Poland to become one of the most attractive countries for foreign entrepreneurs. Correlation/originality. This scientific work is the first research in Ukraine devoted not only to general issues of regulation of franchising activity in Europe but specifically to the franchise agreement in a separate country (in Poland) and its legal and economic peculiarities.

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to clarification of approaches to the improvement of logistics and marketing support of managing the oil and fat export supply chain. Methodology of research. Theoretical and methodological basis of the study has been formed by the scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of logistics and marketing (to identify scientific approaches to marketing and logistics management of export supply chain management), methods of critical, systematic and comparative analysis (to analyze the features of marketing and logistics management of export oil and fat supply chain), methods of graphical analysis (to clearly display the research results), as well as the abstract and logical method (for the logical generalization of theoretical principles and formulation of research conclusions). Findings. It has been formed that the global situation in the oil and fat market, consumer preferences and tastes in the world are changing dynamically and pose new challenges to companies that can be addressed by gaining more sustainable competitive advantages than those already gained due to the marketing- and logistics-oriented approaches to business activity. It is determined that logistics and marketing are defined as the main orientations of management in a company and interpreted in the real sense as significant spheres of functional and integrated processes in company, and in a modern company marketing must be logistic, logistics must be a marketing one. It is established that a key position in the export supply chain of oil and fat products is occupied by the consumer. It is proved that one of the possible directions of effective consideration of market challenges is the logistization of the marketing activity of oil and fat enterprises and the use of integrated marketing logistics. It is substantiated that formation of sustainable competitive advantages of oil and fat companies in the global supply chains is possible due to the development of marketing-mix that will include marketing and logistics components. Originality. Theoretical and methodological principles have been deepened and of scientific and applied recommendations for improving the logistics and marketing support of export supply chain management have been developed. In particular, a logistics scheme for the export chain of oil and fat supply has been developed, which, in contrast to the existing ones, involves the use of river transport, which will reduce logistics costs, improve logistics services and increase customer satisfaction. Practical value. The results of the study can be implemented in the practice of managing export supply chains of domestic enterprises, which will increase the efficiency of export activities by reducing logistics costs, improving the level of logistics services and increasing the degree of customer satisfaction. The aim of the research is to develop recommendations for monitoring the quality of habitat in megacities, taking into account the uncertainty factor and the risks of man-made factors of influence. Materials and methods. National and regional reports on the state of the natural environment in Ukraine, research of the Ukrainian and foreign scientists on assessing the quality of life in the metropolis and the effectiveness of environmental monitoring in the management decision-making system are used as research materials. To achieve the goal of the research, the methods of system analysis, elements of the theory of fuzzy sets, the theory of probabilities, the theory of decision-making, Euclidean metrics, etc. are used. The results. The task of modern monitoring systems is constant monitoring of the current level of pollution, as well as forecasting possible trends of changes in this level, with the possibility of observing and identifying the state of environmental pollution. The task of identifying the dynamics of the technogenic pollution area can be reduced to the analysis of observations and comparisons of their results with each other by evaluating the Euclidean metric. Identifying the limit levels of pollution at which their harmful effects begin to manifest, as well as establishing the synergism effect will allow to provide an integral assessment of the quality of the environment. Conclusions. Management of the level of influence of environmental factors on the quality of life in megapolis is related to the solution of such problems as the creation of procedures for effective identification of the state, the development of a set of unified scenarios for overcoming problems, the need to form the structure of a typical decision-making system in crisis situations, etc. As a rule, management decisions in the field of environmental safety of megacities take place under conditions of uncertainty. The choice of one or another alternative is influenced by such factors as remote or indirect consequences of decisions, problems of "trifles" in the information provision of management decision-making, etc.

Background: The active development of commodity-transport ties makes the issues of the influence of the situation on commodity markets on the directions and structure of freight traffic particularly important. Scientific understanding of the prospects for the development of transport communications in order to increase the efficiency of goods distribution in accordance with the growing requirements of the economy for its speed, reliability and cost allows us to determine economic indicators for the development of transport infrastructure and the need for investment in fixed assets of transport companies.
 Aim: Development of methodological tools for assessing the impact of commodity markets on the processes of updating fixed assets of a transport company.
 Methods: The methodological basis of the study is the work of domestic and foreign scientists, which examined the formation of a system of economic indicators - indicators of the state of technical means and systems, the problems of the development of railway transport in the context of macroeconomic changes, as well as the features of innovative activity in railway transport. To solve the tasks, the method of system analysis, methods of statistical analysis, methods of technical and economic calculations, etc. were used.
 Results: A methodological approach to the determination of economic indicators reflecting the need for investment when updating the fixed assets of a transport company is proposed taking into account the dynamics of the transport market.
 Conclusion: The economically feasible renewal of fixed assets of railways not only plays an exceptional role in creating the conditions for the efficient use of their production resources and their development in general, but also helps to create conditions for satisfying solvent demand in the transport market.

Topicality. The key role of digital competence is related to meeting the needs of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the driver of which is digitalization, which has become the main imperative of modernity. The comprehensive and dynamic nature of digital transformation causes changes in most spheres of life in society, which force people to quickly adapt to them. In such conditions, increasing the competence potential of labor resources in terms of digital competence becomes a necessary condition for the successful functioning of not only individuals and society, but also the socio-economic system in general. Digital competence is becoming transversal, which is recorded in many international documents, in particular the Framework Program of the renewed Key competences for lifelong learning of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union and the report "Towards a structured and agreed terminology of cross-cutting skills and competences" of the European Commission and the European Center for the development of vocational training. The European vector of development and the complexity of the socio-ecological and economic environment of Ukraine determine the need to build an individual trajectory of digital education of the population based on the study and implementation of the experience of the European Union in the specified field of activity.Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is to develop the conceptual foundations of the development of the digital competence of the workforce of Ukraine.Materials and methods. The information sources of the research are fundamental and applied research by domestic and foreign scientists on issues of competence potential in terms of digital literacy, as well as leading international organizations, in particular, the European Center for the Development of Professional Education, the European Commission, UNESCO, data from open sources. To achieve the goal, the methods of system analysis, logical generalization and content analysis were used.Research results. The role and significance of digital competence in the context of modern socio-economic development is considered. The concept of "digital competence" was studied from the point of view of essential content and officially defined interpretations. It is proposed to determine the levels of digital competence in economic activity in terms of the structure of business processes and the level of knowledge-intensive production on the basis of the European approach to determining the level of qualifications presented in DigComp2.1, according to which it is proposed to use depending on the complexity and level of autonomy of task performance, as well as the type cognitive operations (memorizing, understanding, applying, evaluating, creating) 4 levels of qualification: foundation, intermediate, advanced and higly specialised. It is outlined that the prospects for further research are related to the study of the criteria for determining the levels of digital competence in terms of structure-forming business processes, which will contribute to the effective use of the labor potential of the population of Ukraine.Conclusion. In the conditions of the digital transformation of the economy, digital competence acquires a transversal character, since almost all professions will have a digital component in the future. In turn, the formation, application and development of digital competence of the population in terms of different categories is a complex and long-term process that requires coordination and synchronization in time of various interdependent components, in particular, regulatory and legal, institutional, material and technological and personnel, each of which needs to solve a complex of problems. It is important to understand that in order to effectively use the labor potential and increase labor productivity, it is necessary to maintain the correspondence of the qualification level of the digital competence of the workforce to the complexity of the tasks, depending on the scientific intensity of the production processes.

Introduction. Practical activities are known to be determined by the worked out theoretical developments, technologies in a particular area. Technology is a set of methods of working with any objects in the course of a certain professional activity to achieve its results. In accordance with this, expert technology can be defined as a set of operations carried out in a certain sequence, the actions performed on the basis of special knowledge, due to the study of any objects that are evidence, to find the answers to questions posed to the expert. The purpose is to analyze issues related to the features of expert technologies in the field of environmental crime. Methods. The methodological framework for the study includes a whole range of methods of scientific knowledge, among which the methods of system analysis and synthesis are of fundamental importance. Results. The paper presents an analysis of the structural elements of expert technologies through the example of crimes committed in the field of ecology, in particular, the preparatory stage; the analytical stage; the stage of expert experiment; the assessment stage. The necessity for the correct formulation of questions for their resolution by the expert is emphasized. Conclusions. Expert research should be carried out in a certain order established by the scientific methodology. The division of the entire process of expert research into separate stages is determined not only by various technical methods, but also by the tasks that are solved in the process of identification and diagnosis.

UDC 69:65.016 ; JEL Classification: D23, L74The purpose: to determine the overall impact of the factors relevant to the construction industry and the impact of additional internal factors of the country's construction industry subjects during the analyzed period. Research Methodology: assessment is possible using an effective, thorough and reliable analysis methodology. Proposed assessing methodology of the effectiveness of strategies development of Ukrainian construction industry enterprises takes into account a comprehensive and wide range of valuation indicators (sales revenue of construction products, volumes of construction products production, market share in accordance with the planned and actual parameters of the development strategy implementation). The following methods were used: - methods of system analysis and synthesis to consider theoretical aspects of the effectiveness of development strategies; - methods of statistical analysis for studying the financial condition of Ukrainian construction enterprises; - methods of economic and mathematical analysis to determine quantitative assessment and evaluation indicators; - formal logic methods for conclusions development and ways to improving the effectiveness of development strategies of Ukrainian construction enterprises. Results: the calculation and evaluation of the effectiveness of the planned (declared) development strategy implementation of the five construction industry enterprises of Ukraine for 2015-2017 were conducted. The estimation procedure of the most significant influence of factors on the level of implementation effectiveness of strategies of the country's construction industry enterprises was given. The presented results of the state and transformations of the implementation effectiveness level of the planned (declared) development strategies allows to form the basic provisions of the formation historiography of this sphere for the specified period. these include: lack of investment in development, despite the need to upgrade the fixed assets and technologies used to implement strategic parameters; insufficient implementation of innovations of construction methods management, waste management, management of energy efficiency of construction products and construction (it is established that only two (SC JSC “BK “Ukrbud” and PJSC “HK “Kyivmiskbud”) are used the innovations and only one enterprise uses effective innovations implementation (SC JSC “BK “Ukrbud”). The most significant influence of factors on the effectiveness level of the strategies implementation of the surveyed enterprises during 2015–2017 was estimated. Scientific novelty: for the first time the determination of the overall impact of the general factors of action relevant to the construction industry and the impact of additional internal factors of the subjects of the countrie's construction industry during the analyzed period is substantiated. It is established that, unlike the existing approach, an assessment of the impact of a set of these factors of development of Ukrainian construction enterprises, which are investigated through their positive or negative effect on the state of effectiveness of the implementation of planned (declared) development strategies. It should be noted that all values of these factors for the individual specified categories were calculated within the framework of this study. It is proved that in order to determine the most significant influence of factors on the effectiveness level of strategies implementation of the studied country's construction enterprises, and their integrated assessment was carried out. Practical value: the presented study allows to estimate the level of internal resistance to the influence of external, general internal (sectoral) and international factors by the largest enterprises of the construction industry of Ukraine during 2015-2017. The investigated results of the factors influence state is a historiography of the strategic development of the subjects of the industry during the specified period, which can be used to compare by parameters of development the counteracting of factor influence for other enterprises in this industry (medium, small, etc.).

Neo-Union, as a project of the Catholic clergy to subjugate the Orthodox population of Poland to the Vatican, began to spread in Volyn in 1925. The Orthodox clergy of the Volyn Diocese attached great importance to the struggle against it. All anti-Union work was controlled by the Volyn Theological Consistory, which corresponded on this issue with the Metropolitan of Warsaw, parish clergy, representatives of parishioners, civil authorities, and lawyers. The purpose of the work is to analyze the source potential of the little-studied archival documents of the Volyn Spiritual Consistory fund regarding the development of Neo-Union in the Volyn Voivodeship during the interwar period, stored in the State Archives of Ternopil Region, and their actualization in the scientifi c and research environment. The research methodology is based on the principles of historicism, objectivity and critical analysis of the source material. Archival sources study made it possible due to the use of general scientifi c (analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization, statistical) and special-historical (problematic-chronological, historical reconstruction, historical-typological, historical-genetic, biographical) methods. The scientifi c novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the fi rst time the analysis of the source potential of the Volyn Spiritual Consistory fond was conducted for the study of the historical development of the Neo-Union in Volyn in the 1920s and 1930s. The documents were grouped according to the topics, and the directions of the union rooting were revealed. The results of this study outline the prospects for further studies on the history of the neo-Union and Orthodox churches in the interwar period with the involvement of a layer of newly discovered archival materials. The analyzed documents allow us to conclude that the the Volyn Spiritual Consistory fond is valuable and important source for studying the problems related to the development of the Neo-Union in Volyn. At the same time, as documents of a religious nature, they require critical uderstanding.

The article deals with development of a doctrinal system of effectiveness standards for the investigation of corruption crimes. The study used a number of philosophical, general scientific and specific methods of gaining scientific knowledge, including: dialectical method, hermeneutic method, method of systemic and structural analysis, methods of analysis and synthesis, functional method, formal legal method and modeling method. It is proposed to define the investigation effectiveness as the feature of pre-trial investigation, which is characterized by the ability to achieve the tasks envisioned in Art. 2 of the CPC of Ukraine (Law No. 4651-VI, 2012) and can be assessed by checking the number of objectively necessary procedural actions and the effectiveness of making intermediate and final procedural decisions. It is emphasized that the general standards of investigation effectiveness, formulated by the case law of the ECHR, are partially taken into account in Art. 2 of the CPC of Ukraine (Law No. 4651-VI, 2012) through stating the need of investigation being efficient, complete and impartial. The authors formulate scientific approaches to determining the main criteria for the effectiveness of pre-trial investigation of corruption crimes.
