중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 통한 수산·해운계열 특성화고등학교 학생의 직업기초능력에 대한 인식조사

The primary objective of this study is to identify the discrepancies between the required and current levels of NCS(National Competency Standards) among graduates from four-year universities. Subsequently, this study aims to elucidate the implications of developing and implementing NCS-based curricula in universities to enhance the fundamental vocational abilities of college students. To achieve this, a survey was conducted among 195 individuals who graduated from four-year universities and are currently employed to determine the required and current levels of vocational fundamental proficiencies as defined by the National Competency Standards(NCS). The paired sample t-test, Borich analysis, and Hershkowitz Critical function were then employed to analyze the discrepancies between the two levels. The findings of this study indicate that firstly, among the 34 areas of NCS (National Competency Standards), graduates demonstrated statistically significant discrepancies between the necessary state and the current state in document writing ability, expression ability, basic foreign language ability, basic arithmetic ability, thinking ability, problem-solving ability, self-management ability, career development ability, time resource management ability, budget resource management ability, leadership ability, conflict management ability, negotiation ability, information processing ability, technical understanding ability, technical application ability, and job comprehension ability. Secondly, it was determined that basic foreign language ability and expression ability within the sub-abilities of communication, career development ability, and self-management ability within the sub-abilities of self-development, and conflict management ability and negotiation ability within the sub-abilities of interpersonal communication should be given the highest priority in the consideration process. Based on the findings, it is recommended that a comprehensive consideration of the educational needs perceived by graduates be taken into account when developing and applying NCS-based education programs. It is expected that this will serve as important foundational data for effectively developing the NCS basic vocational skills of future university students.

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of educational subjects regarding the issue of a decline in the number of freshmen in Incheon Specialized High Schools, which has recently emerged as a major concern. Six specialized high schools in Incheon were selected for the research, and with the cooperation of the schools, teachers, students, and parents from the schools were selected as research participants and interviewed. The findings of this study are as follows. First, the educational subjects were generally aware of the shortage of new students in specialized high schools. Second, they identified a reluctance to enroll in specialized high schools and the lack of guidance in middle school as the reasons for the lack of freshmen. Third, the educational subjects employed strategies such as reorganizing the departments and strengthening promoting activities to address the problem. Considering the growing emphasis on strengthening local education autonomy, this study provides a significant foundation for exploring policy measures at the education office level to resolve the shortage of new students in specialized high schools in the future.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand the amenity perceptions and tourism activities of beach space users and draw implications for tourism activities in beach spaces.
 Methods Sample data were collected through a questionnaire based on amenity perception factors and tourism activity types derived through theoretical review. Empirical analysis was conducted through cluster analysis and importance-performance analysis on the sample data.
 Results It was confirmed that beach space users can be subdivided into high-awareness, low-awareness, moderate-awareness, and partially-awareness groups according to differences in amenity perception. In addition, through the importance-performance analysis, it was confirmed that the natural landscape viewing type and shopping/restaurant type are activity types with both high performance and high importance, the leisure sports type and humanistic landscape viewing type are activity types with both low performance and low importance, and the experience type is an activity type with high performance but low importance. Finally, through the importance-performance analysis by cluster, it was found that the importance and performance of tourist activity types of beach space users differed according to the level of amenity perception, and there were significant differences by cluster, especially for leisure sports and experience types.
 Conclusion While existing policy and technical considerations are important for understanding beach tourism, it is necessary to understand tourists' amenity perceptions alongside these considerations. Therefore, it is necessary to actively utilize these amenity perceptions in beach tourism development.

This research aims to highlight the importance of health education for dental hygiene of special high school students in Arad County. It was considered that health education for dental hygiene in special high schools would determine a decrease in medical consultation, which represents an improvement in the dental hygiene of students. The study sample comprises students of school age, from Arad County special high schools. The children have been dentally examined, and the following items were analyzed: cavity index on certain teeth and oral hygiene education level. Based on the analysis, the educational needs for dental hygiene in special high school students of Arad County, in the year 2016-2017, were assessed. Health education was taught to students during the school program. The health class lasted 30 minutes per classroom, distributed as follows: 10 minute explanation, 10 minute practical demonstration on plaster mold, and a 10 minute distribution of sanitary materials (toothpaste, toothbrushes, and dental floss). Research data was processed with SPSS 17.0 and showed the statistically significant threshold of p < .01. The courses have had a beneficial effect on young people with special needs, causing them to be more careful about maintaining oral care and hygiene. Conclusions: It has been found that after oral hygiene education, the dental health of special school population was improved.

Public elite and specialized high schools in New York City have a very low enrollment of Black and Latino students. Project 2011 is an intensive preparatory instructional program to improve acceptance rates for Black and Latino children to the eight specialized public high schools in New York City. Initiated and funded by District 17 and 18 of the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE) and supported by Kaplan K12 Learning Service, Project 2011 offers curriculum and training for the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT), which is the only eligibility criterion for acceptance to New York City specialized high schools. Pre-test and post-test assessments that were administered to participating students indicated that the program significantly improved students' performance on a practice test. Board of Education (1954) ruling over half a century ago, concerns over equal educational opportunity continues to be widespread (Muller, Riegle-Crumb, Schiller, Wilkinson, & Frank, 2010). Many studies reveal circumstances that restrict access to education in academically competitive public high schools due to the use of a singular assessment to determine placement. New York City (NYC) Public School system's elite and specialized high schools are strongly impacted by inequality and access to education (Gootman, 2006; Mazie, 2009; Santos, 2012). The resulting impact on Black students is strongly evident in the research (Banchero, 2012; Deresiewicz, 2008; Muller et al., 2010).The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 addresses the issue of equal access to education and calls for a movement to increase academic standards (Mazie, 2009). In accordance with NCLB, many cities, like New York City, have been recognized for addressing the racial achievement gap in early education. However, they have not been as successful at the high school level, particularly at their top public schools, which require an entrance (Gootman, 2006). According to Dobbie and Fryer (201 1), exam schools make up over half of U.S. News and World Report's top 100 American high schools, and 20 out of 21 high schools designated as the 'public elite' by Newsweek (p. 1). Governments, such as China, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, and Turkey, also use entrance exams to determine admission into their secondary schools (Dobbie & Fryer, 2011). The existence of exams schools in the U.S. has sparked intense debate on issues of educational inequality, particularly among political philosophers who are knowledgeable of public education systems and recognize the need to move beyond discussions of civic education to promoting educational parity (Mazie, 2009).Equal educational opportunity for all students is particularly important because research shows a direct correlation between academic success in high school and SES of future generations (Muller et al., 2010). Muller et al. (2010) recognized stratification in educational opportunity that extended beyond expected socioeconomic status (SES) differences to race. Specifically, the study mentions African American and Latino students' differential educational opportunities in comparison to their White counterparts. Furthermore, unequal public funds for education have always been a problem in the United States. Even private funds raised by the parent-teacher associations (PTAs) are impacted by the socioeconomic status of their communities (Mazie, 2009). Schools in lower SES communities are often deprived of basic and necessary educational materials. In this study, the purpose of the study was to find out whether the personal media content creator design course using project-based learning methods in specialized high schools helps students improve their class effectiveness and satisfaction. Therefore, in this study, the current status of personal media content creator design education in specialized high schools was identified through literature research and fact-finding. Based on the research, a personal media content creator design course was developed. A field study was conducted through 50 third-year high school students in specialized high schools in Seoul, who were studied for about five weeks from Monday, April 1, 2023 to Tuesday, April 30, 2023. In order to evaluate the developed class process, a survey in the form of a 5-point recurred scale was analyzed for satisfaction and class effectiveness for students who participated in the post-class class. To summarize the conclusions based on this, the satisfaction level of the personal media content creator design course was high at an average of 3.92 points, proving the effectiveness of the personal media content creator design course using project-based learning methods.

&lt;p&gt;The objective was to understand the attributes considered by consumer when deciding to purchase the beef cattle in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. As much as 150 respondents were determined using the Accidental Sampling method. There were 100 respondents of final consumer and 50 respondents of business consumer (30 restaurants respondent and 20 hotels respondent). Consumer satisfaction data was analyzed by IPA (Importance Performance Analysis). The Result of Analysis indicates that four indicators, such as product, price, place/distribution, and promotion, were remaining in the quadrant 2 (high performance and importance). The indicator of product had the highest performance and importance compared to price, place/distribution and promotion. the attributes considered by the beef consumer at Kupang City were: a) attributes of product such as lipid content, aroma, texture, package, cutting tidiness, weight size and meat part; b) attributes of price such as price rate, payment method and price discount; c) attributes of place/distribution such as distance, order timing, supply continuity, sale location and storage method; and d) attributes of promotion such as good relationship and direct marketing.&lt;br /&gt;Key words: beef cattle attributes, beef cattle consumers, importance performance analysis&lt;/p&gt;

The growing development of information technology makes information technology a very important resource for government and private organizations. The same applies to the university environment in student services. Amikom Purwokerto University is one of the many tertiary institutions that has implemented a web-based academic information system, including in one of its study programs, namely Information Systems. Based on interviews conducted by researchers with one of the lecturers in the Information Systems Study Program at Amikom University, Purwokerto, several problems were identified, such as the lack of regular updating of data and information on the website, the appearance of the website which was less attractive, and the lack of available content. Then, so that the company can be ready to compete with other similar websites, it is necessary to analyze the quality of the website, one of which is using the WebQual 4.0 method which is then assessed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires with 3 WebQual 4.0 variables based on the level of performance and the level of user expectations for the 85 samples that have been determined by calculating the Slovin formula. The data obtained is then assessed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which produces recommendations to companies for actions that need to be taken on the website in order to improve and maintain the quality of the website. The results of the GAP analysis obtained 9 variables with positive values and 13 variables with negative values. While the results of the IPA analysis obtained variables that have been grouped into 4 quadrants, with 1 variable being the main priority, namely UQ8.

Apple (Malus sylvestris mill) is an annual subtropical plant rich in fiber. It was brought from America to Europe, and is now known all over the world, including Indonesia. Increasing the economical value of local apple can be made through product diversification, which is processing apple into high quality products. The high potential of apple as a commodity has motivated the growth of food manufacturing industry, both small and big scales to provide semi-processed raw material to its end product. One of this kind of industry is PIA Apple Pie in Bogor. The objectives of this study are (1) to study the form of development of the PIA Apple Pie business, (2) to analyze the influence of consumersA¢â‚¬â„¢ preference in marketing the product, and (3) to analyze the prospect of the development of apple pie business made by PIA Apple Pie in Bogor through the arrangement of the development strategy. The descriptive method was used in collecting the data of raw material, market prospect and finance. The tools of analysis used were IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation), EFE (External Factor Evaluation), IPA (Importance Performance Analysis), and the SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). Based on IPA, there were four quadrants that show the criteria of each attribute. The attribute that needs to be focused on, and therefore should get priority in its improvement of performance are the price of product, the easiness to get the product, the employeesA¢â‚¬â„¢ hospitality, the parking area, and the store business hours. The result of the analysis of IE matrix showed an internal factor of 2.941 and an external factor of 2.892, which put the business in quadrant V, which are growth and stability. These factors showed that PIA Apple Pie seriously responded to opportunities and threats, and showed a strong internal condition. Based on the SWOT analysis, some alternative marketing strategies that are based on mixed marketing are (1) the product strategy, by making modification of new innovation in product development, to maintain different pie sizes, to maintain the company image and position, (2) the price strategy, by launching economic packages and giving extra pies for a certain amount of transaction, (3) the location strategy by opening new branches within easy access which has a large and comfortable parking area, and (4) the promotion strategy, by advertorial and sales force. Service is an activity that is interactive between communities that aims to provide satisfaction and comfort. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to improve the quality and quality of services as well as in the Hajj registration service. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of satisfaction with Hajj Registration Services using the Fuzzy Service Quality (Servqual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The data collection technique in this study used 100 questionnaires. The statement items used refer to the dimensions of service quality, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence and the methods used to analyze are service quality (servqual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The servqual method will measure the service quality of each dimension so that the gap value is obtained which is the difference between expectations and reality received by the registrant. The servqual method is then integrated with Importance Performance Analysis to classify certain service quality attributes. The results showed that the Hajj registrants were not satisfied with the quality of services provided by the Ministry of Religion in Kabupaten Bogor by showing a negative servqual score. Based on the results of the IPA, there are 9 attributes that are in quadrant B and quadrant C, 3 attributes that are in quadrant D and none of them are in quadrant A. Therefore, improving service quality needs to be carried out by the Ministry of Religion in Kab. Bogor.

Objectives This study aimed to assess students' core nursing skills in pain management and transfusion therapy regarding their knowledge, attitude, performance, and communication skills, and to identify the perceived importance and performance of core nursing skills. Methods Participants were 71 fourth-year students enrolled in the Adult Nursing Practicum (Operating Room, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) at C University in the first semester of 2024. Core nursing skills focused on pain management and transfusion therapy, guided by protocols based on accreditation standards and latest clinical guidelines. The 45-hour practicum included 6 hours for pain management and transfusion therapy practice and evaluation. Students reported the clinically important patient’s problems using the SBAR method and completed an online survey on the importance and performance of core nursing skills. Evaluations were conducted on a 10-point scale for knowledge, attitude, performance, and communication skills. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA with Scheffé’s test, Spearman's correlation, and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Results The average score of the core nursing skills was 9.66±0.38, reaching the expected proficiency level. Higher knowledge was correlated with better performance (r=.285, p=.016) and more positive attitude (r=.443, p&lt;.001). Performance was positively correlated with the perceived importance and performance of transfusion therapy (r=.290, p=.018; r=.356, p=.003). IPA placed pain management and transfusion therapy on the Quadrant B (higher importance and higher performance). Conclusions The evaluation on the core nursing skills regarding knowledge, attitude, and performance may be guide the improvement of the clinical practice education for nursing students. Additionally, the evaluation system of this study could be used as a evidence-based education guideline of the practicum education.

Internshipis one of the MBKM programs, which provides opportunities for students to gain professional work experience in the business world or industry. Civil Engineering Study Program, Universitas Trisakti is organizing an Internship program on Construction Projects in the Odd semester of 2021/2022 academic year. This study is an attempt to share knowledge about stake holder perceptions (students, lecturers, staff, and cooperation partners) regarding the success and failure of the implementation of MBKM. The measurement was based on the priority and satisfaction levels, with the variables of educational infrastructure, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, treatment of students and information systems. This is a quantitative descriptive study using a questionnaire distributed to 217 students, 26 permanent lecturers and 12 civil engineering administration staff as respondents. Cartesian diagram Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is used to map the value of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) which shows the level of stakeholde rsatisfactions. The results show that the CSI values (satisfaction level) areas follows: students has reached 75.67% as itisforadministration staff75.15%, where as lecturers show a quite higher level which is 81.75%. In order to develop a well-organized MBKM in the future, institutions need to establish and manage programs interms of : coordinating between lecturers and field supervisors, adjusting field course Materials to student needs, socializing the amount of MBKM funds to students participating ininternships, and organizing remedial mechanisms. Based on the data analysis,100% of cooperating partners support the continuation of MBKM program and propose that qualified apprentices would become employees in their companies. Purpose –This study conducted a comparative analysis between hotels located in Brazil and England on human resource practices and employee motivation, using the cultural dimensions developed by Hofstede (1980) and the conservation of resources theory. Design/Methodology/Approach – Questionnaires were completed by 154 hotels, 96 and 58 dyads of human resources managers and frontline employees from Brazil and England, respectively, corresponding to a total of 308 respondents. Importance-performance analysis was used to examine the data collected through independent t-tests. Findings – The results showed that Brazilian managers considered training as the most important human resources practice, while information sharing had the best performance in their hotels. English managers ranked employment security with the highest importance and performance ratings. Brazilian frontline employees ranked intrinsic motivation with the highest importance and performance ratings, while English frontline employees ranked extrinsic motivation with the highest importance and performance ratings. Originality of the research – This research extended previous studies using the conservation of resources theory and also developed competitive strategies targeted to specific cultures. Another contribution was the comparative study between hotel employees (managers and frontline) from two countries (Brazil and England), applying the importance-performance analysis.

This study was targeted on the Korean, Chinese, and Japanese parents of preschoolers to investigate the importance and satisfaction of foodservice quality and the importance and performance of foodservice management of the preschool foodservice establishments. The present study conducted a survey on 390 randomly chosen parents of preschoolers (130 Korean, 130 Chinese, and 130 Japanese). Respondents` importance-satisfaction of foodservice quality characteristics and their importance-performance of foodservice management were measured. In order to test for differences between the groups, paired t-test, one way ANOVA, and IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) were performed. The results were as follows. The importance of foodservice quality was significantly higher than the satisfaction on all items, according to the parents of Korea, China, and Japan. The importance of foodservice quality was higher in Korean parents than in Chinese and Japanese parents. According to ISA results with foodservice quality characteristics, the characteristics with relatively low satisfaction but high importance (II quadrant) was `Diversity of menu` in both Korean and Chinese parents, and `Sanitation of tables and chairs` in both Korean and Japanese parents. The importance of foodservice management was significantly higher than performance on all items in Korean, Chinese and Japanese parents. The performance of foodservice management was higher in Chinese than in Japanese and Korean parents. According to IPA results with foodservice management, the management with relatively low performance but high importance (II quadrant) was `Preparation` in Korean parents, and `Facility and equipment` in Japanese parents. Therefore, the items with relatively low satisfaction (performance) and high importance should be well-managed.

This research was conducted to achieve improving the quality of service to members, for this reason, a service quality analysis method is needed. Here the methods needed are Service Quality (Servqual) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of customer satisfaction with service quality by the CUBG Tp Cooperative. Pamulang, to find out what aspects are supporting the improvement of service quality and to provide recommendations for improvements or revisions that are prioritized to improve service quality at the CUBG Tp Cooperative. Pamulang. This research method is quantitative descriptive analysis using Servqual and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The results of this study are the level of satisfaction of cooperative members using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method with a percentage of 86.05%. Based on the calculation of Servqual Analysis of 5 dimensions, namely Tangibility (physical evidence), Reliability (Reliability), Responsiveness (Awareness / responsiveness), Assurance (Guarantee) and Empathy (Empathy) represented by 25 attributes obtained if members of the CUBG Cooperative TP.Pamulang have been satisfied with the Servqual provided by the CUBG Cooperative Tp.Pamulang, this is shown in the average gap between expectations and reality of 0.05
