CLOUD COMPUTING – OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR REMOTE ENGINEERING WORK

The article presents the results of the study conducted by the author in the field of sovereign social ecology using artificial intelligence technologies. The issues of social ecology implemented on the basis of strategic programs and national projects are considered. A number of environmental programs aimed at protecting the environment and stimulating sustainable development are shown. The role of artificial intelligence (AI) in solving issues of social ecology, which is carried out through environmental monitoring, natural resource management and environmental education, is determined. The key aspects of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies when they are implemented in certain areas of activity are identified. The role of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in the implementation of social ecology technologies is shown, examples of the use of generative AI in this area are given. The prospects for the implementation of social ecology technologies in Russia and the world are shown.

It also addresses the challenges and ethical concerns associated with AI in cyber security, such as the potential for misuse by cybercriminals to conduct sophisticated attacks and issues related to data privacy and algorithmic bias. The piece highlights the necessity of a balanced approach to leveraging AI, advocating for collaboration among stakeholders to navigate the ethical and regulatory complexities. Ultimately, it underscores AI's indispensable role in developing resilient cyber security frameworks and fostering a secure digital environment amidst an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Disputes become an accepted reality of construction projects, often resulting in serious consequences, including time and cost overruns, and broader macroeconomic impacts on the national economy. Disputes need to be managed effectively to reduce their negative impacts. Recently, an increasing trend has emerged toward integrating dispute management practices with innovative technologies of the digital era. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the applications of emerging digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to manage disputes proactively. This research begins with a scientometric analysis, followed by a systematic review of dispute management using digital technologies with a special focus on AI. Following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, the systematic review identified 66 previous studies that combine dispute management and digital technologies. The analysis revealed that technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Building Information Modelling (BIM), blockchain, smart contracts, Document Management System (DMS), big data, cloud computing, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) are utilized, while AI and its technologies significantly contribute to managing disputes. AI technologies, especially natural language processing, show a growing trend in applications for predicting disputes using project documents. In addition, the study develops a conceptual framework to predict disputes using AI technologies. The study identified potential research areas involving the integration of digital technologies for dispute management in the construction industry, offering valuable direction for future research. The research suggests that the use of AI and emerging digital technologies potentially predicts and mitigates disputes, thereby paving the way for proactive dispute management.

Cloud computing is still in the stage of rapid development. So in this article the origin and concept of cloud computing will be summarized in detail, the character, basic structure of the cloud computing and its application and impact in each field will be analyzed strongly. In the cloud computing environment, the construction and service of digital library has changed greatly. The cloud storage based on digital library,the digital library infrastructure integration and construction based on cloud service, and even the library automation based on cloud computing, all of these need to research deeply in library field in the cloud computing. Besides,the changes of digital library service model based on cloud computing are also the one of the important content. In this article three kinds of service model is proposed:personalized cloud platform service model based on the needs of the users, user active push-service model and sharing cloud platform service model. Structure model is designed respectively, the working process and model of service model is explained, and their application scope is analyzed in this article.

Edge computing is a technique of optimizing cloud computing systems by performing data processing at the edge of the network, near the source of the data in the systems. And, cloud computing is a service that delivers on-demand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity or expansion, which is trending in today's technology-driven world. With the advantage of flexibility, storage, sharing, and easy accessibility, cloud is being used by major players in IT (information technology). This chapter highlights cloud/edge computing architecture and its current issues and challenges from technological and organizational aspects. A brief introduction of edge computing architecture with similar technologies along with its service models is discussed. A few counterexamples of cloud computing architecture are showed. Organizational aspects of cloud computing architecture, as well as IBM and Oracle reference cloud architecture, are briefly presented. Some emerging issues and challenges associated with cloud/edge computing on its utilization are also elaborated.

Highlights: 1. Understanding how Artificial Intelligence could play a crucial role in diagnosing patients’ mortality could be challenging, however, this article could provide a discussion that readers might want to take notice. - Background: Artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in the field of cardiovascular medicine, particularly in diagnosing and predicting patient mortality in heart disease. Objective: Therefore, we conducted a systematic review to understand the role of artificial intelligence in predicting mortality risk in patients with aortic stenosis following transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Method: This study is a systematic review using secondary data. The data in this research consist of literature on the role of artificial intelligence in TAVR patients, obtained through the PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar search engines, with a publication date range from 2019 to October 2023. Using the PRISMA flow diagram, six studies on the role of artificial intelligence in TAVR patients were identified. It was found that the ability of artificial intelligence to predict mortality in patients with aortic stenosis undergoing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) is superior compared to the TAVI2-Score, CoreValve Score, STS/ACC Score, and several other prediction scores. Conclusion: Artificial intelligence has a superior ability to predict mortality risk in patients with aortic stenosis undergoing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).

AI improves decision-making and risk assessment, while Blockchain ensures secure, tamper-proof transactions. Together with FinTech, they are building a financial ecosystem that is faster, smarter, and more inclusive. This paper explores how these technologies work together to solve key challenges in the financial world. It looks at how they can reduce barriers to access, promote economic inclusion, and create new possibilities for innovation and growth. These changes are particularly important as digital solutions become essential to meeting the needs of a fast-moving global economy. Understanding the impact of this technological integration has far-reaching implications. Better supportive regulations and tools to improve efficiency and expand access are a few of the applications of these technologies. For society, it means financial systems that are more equitable and inclusive. This paper highlights how the fusion of AI, Blockchain, and FinTech is not just transforming finance but also helping shape a future where financial opportunities are open to all. Sample of 207 people from different fintech organization were surveyed to explore the factors that shows different Role of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in Transforming the Operations of Fintech Organisations and found that Customer Experience, Fraud Detection and Prevention, Payments and Transactions and Audit and Compliance are the factors showing different Role of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in Transforming the Operations of Fintech Organisations.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing healthcare globally and in Saudi Arabia, enhancing patient care, diagnostics, and administrative efficiency, despite challenges such as data privacy and regulation. This study explores knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions (KAP) regarding AI in medication adherence among chronic patients in Makkah region, Saudi Arabia. A cross-sectional study was conducted among patients with chronic diseases in the Makkah region, Saudi Arabia, from 1 July to 31 December 2024. The study included adult patients with chronic diseases (≥18 years) receiving primary care in the Makkah region. KAP levels were analyzed using descriptive statistics and composite scores, with demographic associations evaluated through Pearson chi-square tests (p<0.05). A total of 385 participants were included in the study. Most participants were women (60%), and those belonging to the 50 years or older group comprised the highest percentage (51.2%). The most reported chronic conditions were diabetes (30.7%), hypertension (19.7%), and asthma (14%). Knowledge levels were at a good level among 72.7% of the study participants, and 45.5% expressed a positive attitude towards AI's role. Perception was high among 50.9% of the respondents but low among 23.4%. Demographic factors, particularly age, significantly improved KAP (p-values of 0.048, 0.046, and 0.031, respectively). A positive attitude towards AI's role in medication adherence was observed in 58.2% of the participants with good knowledge levels compared to only 11.4% of those with poor knowledge (p=0.001). Variations in perception levels regarding AI's role in medication adherence were evident across demographics, with statistically significant associations found for age and overall knowledge level (p-values of 0.031 and 0.001, respectively). The results highlight AI's potential to enhance medication adherence and healthcare efficiency while maintaining a human-centred approach. To ensure effective integration, it's crucial to address concerns related to privacy, trust, and reduced human interaction. AI should be positioned as a supportive tool that complements-not replaces-human care, with transparent governance and targeted education playing key roles.

Machine learning (ML)-centric resource management in cloud computing: A review and future directions

Abstract. The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly influenced various industries, including software engineering. This paper explores the integration of AI into software engineering, focusing on its applications across different stages of the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, project management, and maintenance. AI's ability to automate tasks, enhance efficiency, and improve code quality is revolutionizing how software is built and maintained. The paper also addresses the challenges and risks associated with AI-driven software engineering, such as dependency on AI tools, ethical concerns, and security vulnerabilities. Finally, the paper highlights future trends in AI-powered software engineering, including adaptive and self-healing systems, AI-enhanced collaboration, and full software automation. The role of AI in shaping the future of software engineering is both profound and transformative, making it a critical area of study.

Cloud computing is a new technology that has great potential for the business world. Many business firms have implemented, are implementing, or planning to implement cloud computing technology. The cloud computing resources are delivered in various forms of service models which make it challenging for business customers to select the model that suits their business needs. This paper proposes a novel group-based decision-making method where a group of decision makers is involved in the decision process. Each decision maker provides weights for the cloud selection criteria. Based on weight aggregations and deviations, decision makers would select the alternative which has the highest ratio of deviation to mean is selected. The method is illustrated with an example on the selection of cloud service models. This method is useful for IT managers in selecting the appropriate cloud service model for their organizations.

"This article analyzes the social necessity for the emergence of criminology as a science, its prospects for development, and its current pressing tasks. Criminology, in its aim, studies crime, its causes and conditions, the personality of the criminal, the victim of the crime, the nature, features, and regularities of crime prevention, provides criminological descriptions of specific types and directions of crime, develops measures to improve the effectiveness of crime prevention, and supplies the practice of crime prevention with scientific proposals and recommendations. Although this science is relatively “young” compared to other legal sciences, it is of particular importance in providing the practice of combating crime with necessary information due to its connection with both social and legal sciences. The emergence of criminology as an independent science dates back to the mid-19th century. Some researchers link the emergence of criminology to the publication of Italian Cesare Beccaria’s book “On crimes and punishments” in 1764, but the term “criminology” was first used by the Frenchman Paul Topinard in 1879 during his anthropological research. The article examines the existence of criminology as a science based on three different approaches. Additionally, the article analyzes how criminology fulfills its tasks through identifying, collecting, predicting, and informing the public. Suggestions are made regarding the need to conduct research on topics such as “Digital criminology,” “The role of artificial intelligence in predicting crimes,” “The role of artificial intelligence in preventing crimes in the field of information technology,” and “The role of artificial intelligence in preventing crimes in the field of information technology.” "
