Construction and Application of a Cloud Platform for English Teaching Supported by Computer Network Technology

In order to maximize the students' brain potential in English learning, this paper makes an investigation and analysis of brain-based college English teaching classroom, and proposes an English classroom teaching mode considering brain cognition enhancement method according to the investigation. By means of comprehensive analysis of the application of brain science theory and the teaching of brain science, in combination with the model of literature investigation and questionnaire survey, this paper summarizes the theoretical basis of brain cognitive science and explains its application in college English teaching. This paper puts forward the strategies and suggestions of English classroom innovation based on brain science, so that English teaching classroom can be innovated and transformed according to the laws of brain cognition as much as possible, arouse students' brain activity, and finally realize the better learning of English knowledge. On the one hand, this study provides reference for English classroom teaching based on brain science in colleges and universities, on the other hand, it has guiding significance for the reform of English teaching in colleges and universities.

Information technology, especially multimedia technology, with its strong interactive, visible and experiential nature, can significantly increase students' enthusiasm for active learning and the creation of awareness, and has more significant advantages for utilization. Computer multimedia technology is able to show the content that users want to convey in the form of audio and animation, which enriches the way of information dissemination and can show more space for development in future life. Nowadays, multimedia technology has been widely used in all aspects of real life and has achieved certain effects, especially in teaching activities through the use of multimedia technology, which can bring more convenience to English teaching. On this basis, this paper first analyzes the characteristics and utilization value of computer multimedia technology, then studies the design of English classroom teaching based on computer multimedia technology, and finally gives the application strategy of multimedia technology in the design of college English classroom. Due to the continuous development of computer information technology, multimedia has gradually become a new way to change teaching methods, and the use of computer multimedia technology during actual teaching can lead to effective improvement of English teaching effect, and promote the whole teaching content to have more vivid characteristics and enhance the teaching effect.

English is one of the essential contents in the higher education system, and the innovative research of English teaching has become a research hotspot in the academic world. This paper introduces the neural network model to the research of English classrooms in colleges and universities and constructs a neural network prediction model based on teacher-student interaction behavior. It is used to identify, classify, and predict the behavior of teacher-student interactions. Further, explores the impact of teacher-student interaction on student behavior and its quality on college English teaching. The neural network model in this paper achieves optimal performance in the long-term prediction of teacher-student interaction behavior, and the overall short-term prediction accuracy significantly exceeds that of other prediction models. The differences in grade level, gender, and number of lecturers were all significant for the quality of English classroom teaching in colleges and universities. There was a significant correlation between teacher-student interaction behaviors (classroom cooperation, classroom games, classroom communication, and situational interpretation) and English teaching quality (English achievement, classroom participation, and learning interest). Teacher-student interaction behaviors significantly improve English classroom teaching quality and predict teaching quality by up to 45.24% of the explained variance. Classroom cooperation is the primary factor in positive classroom interaction behavior between teachers and students.

At the 20th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping proposed to build cultural confidence and strength, and secure new successes in developing socialist culture. As English is an international language, it is very important to tell the story of China and convey the voice of China. It is crucial to integrate communicate the China stories well into college English classroom teaching. It is worth thinking about how to solve the problems of students lack of cultural self-confidence and poor oral English ability, poor quality of teaching materials and some teachers lack of understanding of China culture. This paper will analyze the shortcomings and countermeasures of telling Chinese stories in English classroom teaching in colleges and universities, hoping to provide feasible reference for the current English classroom teaching reform in colleges and universities.

To improve the effect of college English teaching, combines multi-source data (MSD) fusion technology to build a college English blended teaching system. Moreover, through the research on the functions of smarter classrooms and the analysis and exploration of blended teaching, this paper designs a college English blended teaching system based on MSD fusion. In addition, this paper analyzes the bandwidth-tunable optical routing module of the interference-coupled series double-ring involved in multi-data fusion. Finally, this paper studies the working principle and structural design of the module, and constructs a college English blended teaching system structure based on MSD fusion. From the evaluation results, it can be seen that the college English blended teaching system based on MSD fusion proposed in this paper can effectively improve the quality of English teaching.

Informatization is the trend of world economic and social development, with the network technology and multimedia technology as the core of information technology has become the creative tool of expanding human ability. Computer and curriculum teaching model has become our country oriented viewpoint of 21st century basic education teaching reform, its research and Implementation for students' subjectivity and creativity into full play to create a good foundation, for students of English listening, speaking, reading and writing for the improvement of comprehensive quality provides a powerful cognitive tools. The advantages and disadvantages of traditional teaching and modern education technology, to make a reasonable choice, not from one extreme to the other extreme. Therefore, we should have a deep understanding of the essence of education modernization, in before the use of information technology, teachers should be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of information technology and the characteristics of teaching materials and students needs and subject teaching, the ability to train students' creative thinking as the use of network assisted teaching is one of the important standards. Inheriting the advantages of the traditional teaching in the computer aided teaching, trying to find a new mode of English Teaching in the network environment.

With the continuous advancement of “Internet + education” and college moral education, college English education should follow the trend, and college English teachers can make more contribution. This paper first introduces the Chinese elements in college English teaching, then explores the difficulities of how the Chinese elements spread in the international communication, and analyzes the new characteristics of integrating Chinese elements into English teaching in the context of the Internet era from three aspects: the digital environment of college English, “three-dimensional teaching+Internet”, and “immersive teaching+college students’ international communication ability”. Finally, it put forward the international transmission path of the Chinese element in college English classroom teaching in the context of the Internet: building up the original ecological teaching mode of “textbooks+teachers+students” and exploring a new path for spreading the Chinese element all over the world.

The quality evaluation of English classroom teaching carries great significance in promoting English teaching reform and raising the quality of English education at university level in China. In this paper, a quality evaluation index system is introduced for the classroom teaching of English as a foreign language (EFL), and an EFL classroom teaching quality evaluation model is built based on the PSO-ELM algorithm with an ELM model constructed for comparison. A comparison shows that the PSO-ELM algorithm can obtain better accuracy with less hidden layer neurons, hence lowering the demand upon experiment samples and strengthening the fitting ability of the model. Experiment results show that the PSO-ELM algorithm is feasible to evaluate classroom teaching of English as a foreign language. The designed English classroom teaching quality evaluation index system is thus confirmed as effective, and is expected to improve the quality and management of classroom teaching of English as a foreign language.

With the sweeping of the new curriculum reform, new changes and requirements in English teaching stress the development of students' key competencies and require teachers to carry out teaching activities based on key competencies. As an important part of teaching, however, the evaluation in traditional English classes in senior high school lacks diversity and innovation and ignores the main role of students. Many explorations on classroom teaching evaluation have been conducted, but most of them are theoretical research, focusing on the compulsory education stage. This paper studies the evaluation of high school English classroom teaching combined with key competencies and explores the impact of the evaluation on English teaching and learning. The author selected two classes in a senior high school as the experimental class and the control class to conduct a two-month comparative experiment using classroom observation, testing and other experimental tools. It is found that the English classroom evaluation based on the key competencies can promote teaching effect as well as learning effect. Therefore, in the classroom evaluation, it is important for teachers to implement key competencies in the classroom teaching evaluation, use diversified teaching evaluation to arouse students' enthusiasm for learning, and improve students' comprehensive English learning ability.

As a new and exciting science, however, the non- verbal communication takes a significant place in the English classroom teaching. This thesis starts from the definitions of the Non-verbal communication and focuses on some usages of the Non-verbal communication in English classroom teaching on the basis of the current situation of English teaching, such as the use of body language, space language, environment language. Though using of such strategies and techniques, teachers and students' ability of non-verbal communication have been greatly improved. INTRODUCTION Naturally, everyone attaches great importance to the effect of expressing himself in language, but they usually pay little attention to the function of Non-verbal communication. The study on just started after World War II. Most linguists agreed that at first human beings communicated with each other through body language such as bodily movement, gestures, postures, facial expressions, eye contact, and touch and so on, rather than verbal means. The history of the use of nonverbal signals is far longer than the use of verbal means. In the 1950s, nonverbal communication made a breakthrough development. In the 1960s the study of the developed to a new stage, at which man's different gestures were studied. Since 1980s the study on has further developed. Some Chinese scholars began to study it from many different dimensions like linguistics, architecture, art, sociology, etc. Abererombic says: We speak with our vocal organs, but we converse with our whole body.(Cited in Bijiwan 1995:72) Everyday, people conduct a lot of Non- verbal behaviors such as performing facial expressions, postures and action, consciously and unconsciously. And these signals convey different messages about us to others consciously or unconsciously. Many studies have revealed some important facts about our use of Non-verbal communication. There are scores of definitions that researchers and scholars use to refine Non-verbal communication. According to Mark Knap (1980:18) the term non-verbal communication refers to non-verbal behavior that people perform with the value of message, and the signals to which meaning will be attributed. It can be used to describe all human communication events that transcend spoken or written words. Bur goon and Sain (cited in Malandra, 1989:7) show that NVC is the qualities or behaviors known to all in a community without the use of words and such qualities or behaviors are intentionally given by the speaker and consciously received and responded by the listeners. According to James C and Steverk, is a process of one person stimulating meaning in the mind of another person non-verbally. The linguist Samovar (2000) has made a great effort to interpret the term. He proposes NVC involves all those nonverbal stimuli in a communication setting that are generated by both the variety of ways without the use of verbal codes. It is both intentional and unintentional.

The traditional English teaching system has certain problems in the acquisition of teaching resources and the innovation of teaching models. In order to improve the effect of subsequent English online teaching, this paper improves the machine learning algorithm to make it a core algorithm that can be used by artificial intelligence systems. Moreover, this paper combines the WBIETS system to expand the system function, analyzes the needs of the English network teaching system, and constructs the system function modules and logical structure. The data layer, logic layer, and presentation layer in the system constructed in this paper are independent of each other and can be effectively expanded when subsequent requirements change. In addition, this paper solves the problem of acquiring English teaching resources through the WBIETS system. To evaluate the performance of the English network teaching system, this paper performs comprehensive mathematical and experimental analysis. The experimental results show that the system constructed in this paper basically meets the actual teaching requirements.

Emotion is a very important factor in English teaching in junior middle school. In English classroom teaching, a correct understanding of the emotional factors in English learning and a proper use of emotional education can help students to construct a positive emotional experience. Emotional communication between teachers and students is an important factor in improving the effectiveness of English classroom teaching. Therefore, this paper briefly introduces emotional factors from the perspective of emotional factors, discusses the importance of using emotional factors in junior high school English teaching, and discusses how to effectively use emotional factors in the hope that “emotional education” can be better implemented.

In order to improve students’ learning effect, more and more universities favor foreign language teachers who are native speakers of English. Based on the analysis and summary of the research status of emotion recognition, this paper proposes that, in college English classroom teaching, foreign language teachers can reduce the communication barriers with Chinese students through emotion recognition. Based on literature review and actual situation investigation, this study identified four influencing factors on emotion recognition of foreign language teachers, namely, interactive action, facial expression, vocal emotion, and body posture. In our opinion, in the teaching process, teachers can adjust the four factors of emotion recognition to achieve better teaching effect. Further, improve students’ learning efficiency. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is chosen as the research method in this study. After building the analysis model, we collected the questionnaire using the Questionnaire Star, and finally got 12 valid data. After determining the importance of different factors by pairwise comparison, we draw the following conclusions: the influence degree of emotion recognition factors of foreign language teachers is in descending order, interactive action (43%), facial expression (28%), vocal emotion (21%), and body posture (9%). Our research adds to the body of knowledge on emotion recognition among college English teachers. Furthermore, this research assists students in improving their grasp of course content based on the emotions of foreign English lecturers. Based on the findings, we recommend that foreign language teachers in college English classrooms alter their interactive behaviors, facial expressions, and vocal emotions in response to various instructional materials and emphases.

In college English teaching, whether the classroom is a teacher-center or a student-center, the practice of college English teaching shows that the classroom can never get rid of the problems of teachers’ lecturing and students’ listening. The teacher-student interaction in the college English classroom is more of a sentence-type training and a teacher's analysis and explanation of the text. "Intersubjectivity" points out a new way of thinking and method for the teacher-student relationship in the college English class. It regards teaching activities as a special interaction between teachers and students. Teachers and students are a kind of "mutual subject" relationship. The relationship between teachers and students is the relationship between the subject and the subject of equal communication, interactive dialogue and mutual understanding. This article discusses the three aspects of teachers’ listening and understanding, tolerating and appreciating, and creating more harmonious and relaxed classroom atmosphere. The enthusiasm of learning enables students to master the basic knowledge of English while improving the application of English.

Against the backdrop of deep integration of digital technology into higher education, English classrooms in universities face the dual challenges of structural reconstruction and transformation of teaching mechanisms. This study focuses on "Innovation and Challenges in University English Classroom Teaching in the Digital Era," emphasizing the impact of digital media intervention, reorganization of teaching elements, and spatiotemporal extension on the teaching ecosystem. It constructs innovative approaches from perspectives such as cognitive differences, intelligent feedback, and multimodal interaction. The article also identifies existing issues in current teaching practices, including insufficient teaching consistency, lagging adaptation of teacher capabilities, and imbalanced evaluation mechanisms, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical pathways for systematic optimization and intelligent upgrading of university English teaching.
