Levels of service user satisfaction in secure settings – A survey of the association between perceived social climate, perceived therapeutic relationship and satisfaction with forensic services

This research aims to measure the usability level of users of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) application as an information retrieval tool for users at the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) Library. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is a computer-based installed catalog system that can be used by users to browse catalog data to ensure the availability of collections needed by users whether the library stores certain works to obtain information and their location in the library. The method used in this research is the System Usability Scale (SUS) which was developed by John Brooke since 1986 and SUS is a usability scale that is reliable, popular, effective and cheap. Researchers used the SUS method to measure the usability level of OPAC application users in the UINSU library by asking 10 questions to 60 users. By knowing the level of user satisfaction, we can also find out whether the application is suitable for use and running well. The results of calculations from 60 respondents were obtained by researchers using the SUS method, getting a score of 62.3, falling into the OK category and grade D. These results show that the level of satisfaction of users of the OPAC application in the UINSU library is sufficient and needs to be improved.

High levels of service user satisfaction are viewed as a reliable indicator of a service providing good care and treatment. There has been limited research looking into levels of satisfaction in forensic mental health settings with most work focused on staff satisfaction in these settings. This study examined service users' levels of satisfaction with a forensic mental health service in the United Kingdom. The service covered two sites; one a purpose-built secure unit and the other based in an old cottage hospital. Thirty-nine in-patients completed a 60-item validated forensic satisfaction scale. The scale measured seven domains of satisfaction as well as reporting an overall satisfaction score. The results indicated the service users were reasonably satisfied with the care and treatment they received. The domains of rehabilitation, safety, staff interaction and overall care showed the highest level of satisfaction. The high rehabilitation satisfaction score demonstrated the importance of meaningful activities for users accessing forensic services and may have been influenced by the security measures on the wards. The high safety domain score indicated respondents felt safe and secure within the wards and were likely to be influenced by positive interpersonal interactions. Good staff interaction was also an important factor in helping service users feel safe on the wards. These interactions are likely to be associated with longer periods of admission in secure services allowing therapeutic relationships to develop. Financial advice/support was the one domain that recorded negative satisfaction levels. Financial literacy training may help develop money management skills.

Despite the number of studies conducted on users’ satisfaction with library services, only a handful of reports was able to assess the level of users’ satisfaction with library electronic services. The review showed that previous studies measured the quality of services rendered by the federal university libraries with just a question or an extract from the ServQual instrument without proper application of the ServQual model. Identification of determinants of library users' satisfaction needs an in-depth investigation using different methods before librarians can work towards improving those identified factors for maximum utilization of library resources and services. This present study used the ServQual model for determining users' satisfaction with electronic resources and services provided in six federal university libraries. The instruments used for data collection were descriptive surveys, focus groups, observation, and interview designs. This study applied a multistage sampling technique to arrive at the 733 sample size that represented the registered postgraduate users for the selected federal university libraries from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. Structural Equation Model and SPSS were used to analyze data collected from the respondents, it was found that the federal university libraries provided minimal (acceptable) electronic services with a beta coefficient of (β=0.66**) which showed a significant level of user satisfaction with electronic services. Determinants of users’ satisfaction were a conducive environment; good Internet connection; constant power supply; adequate computer systems; use of laptops either personal or loan; longer operating hours; remote access to eResources; adequate security measures, availability and accessibility of electronic resources, currency and adequacy of electronic resources. The study concluded that users were moderately satisfied with library services provision but libraries need to improve the quality of resources quality of services provided in the various universities. This paper recommended that, the library environment must be conducive to learning; good Internet connection is provided and sustained; have power backups; provide adequate computer systems; allow users to bring in their laptops to the library; increase their operation hours; provide remote access to e-resources; re-work the security systems and subscribe to numerous electronic resources to optimally satisfied users.

Aim: This research aim is to determine the level of user satisfaction using the Delone and Mclean models obtained from the implementation of the content-based filtering method in the anime recommendation system. Study Design: This study was designed with Delone and Mclean and with a Content-based Filtering method and web-scrapping to build an anime recommendation system. Place and Duration of Study: Department of Informatic Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, between July 2022 and December 2022. Methodology: The initial step in this research was collecting data using web scrapping and questionnaires, then followed by a literature study, and after that continued with system design and application development. After the application is made the next step is to get the level of user satisfaction with Delone and Mclean, and the final step is writing a report from this research. Results: The design and development of a system by implementing a content-based filtering method to the website-based have been successfully created, and the results of calculating the level of user satisfaction calculated from 43 respondents using the Delone and Mclean methods show, an anime recommendation system with content-based filtering methods has good result with a user satisfaction percentage of 74.23%. Conclusion: The anime system recommendation application has been successfully made and the results of user satisfaction are 74.23%.

Purpose Facebook is a social networking media that has a big share in sharing information. Therefore, the college library that aims to meet the needs of the civitas academic information utilize this social media. This study aims to determine the level of user satisfaction of Facebook library Universitas Airlangga. Design/methodology/approach The method used is descriptive quantitative approach. The research location is at Universitas Airlangga Library Surabaya, Indonesia. The sampling technique is purposive, using the criteria of the academic community of Universitas Airlangga who become an active member or visit the Facebook of social network Facebook owned library at least three times in the past one month. The number of samples in this study were 220 respondents. Findings The results of this study indicate that the level of user satisfaction on the Facebook library shows the highest is as surveillance and the level of subsequent satisfaction in a row is as social relationship, individual identity and diversion entertainment. The biggest motive utilizing the Facebook library is to search for information about the library. Practical implications In the era of booming social media Facebook for teenagers who are the largest users of college libraries, utilizing Facebook social networking media in the library is considered effective. Originality/value This area is has been rarely researched by researchers in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the effect of transport performance and bus crew performance on the quality of Trans Sarbagita transportation services in Bali Province. This study combines a descriptive analysis techniques and structural equations with alternative PLS SEM. The findings showed that the performance of transport and performance of the bus crew had a positive and significant effect on the quality of Trans Sarbagita transportation services in the Province of Bali. Transportation performance, bus crew performance and service quality have a significantly affects on the satisfaction level of Trans Sarbagita users in Bali Province. Transport performance and bus crew performance indirectly influence the level of satisfaction through the quality of Trans Sarbagita services in Bali Province. Based on the results of the study, a more comprehensive study is needed in the development of Trans Sarbagita public transportation to realize service quality and maximum level of satisfaction. Water Supply and Sanitation has been a priority of Government of Nepal. Various types of urban and rural water supply and sanitation projects are now being implemented within the Government, private and NGO sectors. The normal practice of measurement of satisfaction by service providers is to measure consumers’ satisfaction on past performance. The survey design could vary from survey questions to unstructured interviews and everything in between using comparative and non-comparative scales. In comparative scaling, the respondents are asked to compare one product against the other while non-comparative scaling is used to evaluate a single product. In this study, Likert Scales is used in this study for measurement of customer satisfaction on water supply. The higher level of satisfaction with water supply is expected to be positively related to several factors such as satisfaction with water quality, and other parameters such as hours and timings of water supply, tap pressure, quantity of water supplied, responsiveness and communication of management and water tariff. The respondents’ level of satisfaction indicates that about 41 percent of respondents were neutral, they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with water services, while about 36 percent of respondents were satisfied with water services. The satisfaction scale of overall satisfaction with water services was 3.29 while 1.0 indicates strongly not satisfied while 5.0 indicate strongly satisfied. The various aspects that influence satisfaction among users which include hours and timings of water supply, tap pressure, quantity of water supplied, responsiveness and communication of management and water tariff as well as redresses of customer complaints have been examined. This study focused on the users’ satisfaction of Lekhnath small town water supply and sanitation project and the study was undertaken to analyze the current users’ satisfaction of the Lekhnath small town water supply and sanitation project. The result showed that the satisfaction level of users’ is above neutral but these were not in satisfying level. The characteristics/aspects of the service that contributed to users’ satisfaction including hours and timing, pressure, quantity and quality of water while there was slightly less satisfaction with regard to complaints about water supply.

We present a study addressing the questions of how varying communication styles of a spoken user interface are perceived by users and whether there exist global preferences in the communication styles elaborateness and indirectness. A total of 60 participants had two conversations each with Amazon's Alexa where Alexa used varying wordings for its output. In a post-survey, the participants had to rate statements to subjectively assess each dialogue as well as indicate which dialogue they preferred. The results show that the system's communication style has a direct influence on the user's satisfaction level as well as the user's perception of the dialogue and imply that the preference in the system's communication style is individual for every person. This emphasises the need for adaptive user interfaces.

This track will present a collection of papers related with these topics in the context of Medical training, In particular, a few new technological tools will be presented, first, for the study of human anatomy using augmented reality techniques in both Android and iOS mobile devices; next an iOS application for the development of interactive electronic books enabling a better understanding of the anatomical structures involved in the nervous system; then, a new interactive digital tool is presented for the study of the anatomical and functional neurological basis involved in Parkinson's disease providing new resources for improving the understanding of their anatomical and spatial relationships. Finally, a collection of new software aim to develop self-created audiovisual material is presented, including an evaluation of the final user's satisfaction level.

Heterogeneous wireless access networks (HWAN) will create a market for the delivery of an extensive collection of novel and attractive services and contents. Accounting and pricing the ubiquitous services will play a key role from both service providers and users point of view. By one hand, wireless service providers (WSP) look for the maximum revenue and utilization rate and by other hand users will select service providers depending on the offered price and the Quality of Service (QoS) assurance. In such a market-based scenario, accounting will become an effective tool that satisfies the users' service demands and maximizes the revenue of the providers. For WSP is of vital importance to define a charging and accounting architecture that supports fast and easy the provision of existent and new services with the best quality. In this sense, a dynamical network selection mechanism has to be developed to decide an appropriate radio access cell or technology for a specific service. Additionally, service providers must consider alternative solutions to situations where the best quality for the requested service cannot be provided, allowing them maintaining a high user satisfaction level. In this paper we propose a simple QoS-based dynamic pricing approach for services provisioning into a heterogeneous wireless access networks environment which attempts to increase user's satisfaction level by firstly, maximizing the provided QoS level, and secondly, by applying dynamic pricing strategies according to the QoS. These strategies will allow service providers to maximize their profits. Simulations results demonstrate that the proposed dynamic pricing approach benefits both users and WSP. Results suggest that users have better overall satisfaction due to a better QoS level and fairer prices. The analysis shows that our proposed pricing approach helps increasing WSPs profits compared to the application of the flat-rate pricing model into a competitive market-model.

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of user satisfaction with website services using the Webqual 4.0 method. Webqual is one method of measuring website quality based on the perception of end-users. Webqual variables are usability, information quality, service interaction quality, and user satisfaction. In processing research data using the smartPLS application to determine the level of validity and reliability of the data obtained. The results showed that usability, information quality, and service interaction had a positive effect on User Satisfaction. So it can be concluded that the quality of usability, quality of information, and quality of service interaction affect the satisfaction of website users covid19.kalbarprov.go.id.

Public transportation is said to have good performance if the transportation is able to provide effective and efficient services, and is able to meet the demands of passengers as a means of transportation for the implementation of community activities. The research objectives are: 1) To determine the effectiveness of Marisa Terminal's performance in the new normal era, and 2) To determine the level of user satisfaction at Marisa Terminal in the new normal era. The research method used is the analysis of the operational performance assessment of public transport and the Likert Scale. From the results of the analysis, it was found that Marisa Terminal's performance has not been effective. This is due to the implementation of the new normal era. This affects the frequency, load factor, headway, and waiting time. The level of user satisfaction is very strong or very high. The criteria for user satisfaction level consist of physical quality, supporting physical quality, institutional quality, technical quality and interactive quality.

Rapid advances in technology, particularly in the Internet of Things (IoT), are enabling the development of devices and robots that can be operated remotely. This research explores the effects of APILASTIK Quality Check Robot Appearance and Features on User Satisfaction Level. This tool, developed by Computer Engineering Technology students at IPB University's Vocational School, aims to detect defects in production products. The robot attracted great attention when it was presented at IT FEST 2023, showing the potential for wide use. Evaluations of the robot's appearance and features showed a positive and significant influence on the level of user satisfaction, with each variable contributing 66.4% and 25.4%, respectively. Hypothesis testing confirmed the overall positive and significant impact, with the coefficient of determination (R2) reaching 82.7%. The results of multiple linear regression analysis and t-test show that the robot's appearance and features individually contribute significantly to user satisfaction. With these findings, we can understand the factors that influence user satisfaction with damage-scanning robots. The recommendation is to focus on feature development or appearance enhancement to improve overall user satisfaction.

This research presents the development of a multi-destination travel route planning application using the geospatial data from Longdo map, an online map service designed for use in Thailand. The developed application, titled “Route Planning”, was implemented using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for the user interface, and Kotlin for Android mobile platform development. The core functionality of the application enables users to search for points of interest within specific categories, namely Temples, Restaurants, cafes, and tourist attractions, within a 10-kilometer radius from the user’s current location, and to automatically generate optimized travel routes across multi-destination. The application was tested in three locations, namely Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province), Wat Thanyaphon (Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province), and Pratu Chai area (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province). Experimental results showed that the application successfully searched for multi-destination across five distinct categories and accurately generated the corresponding travel routes. The difference in route distance compared to Google Maps ranged from 2 to 75%, depending on the routing algorithms used by each application. The sample group consisted of experts and tourists who tested the application in all three locations. The research instrument was a satisfaction evaluation questionnaire, and the data were analyzed based on the level of user satisfaction with the application using mean and standard deviation. An evaluation of the application’s suitability by 6 experts indicated a high level of satisfaction (x̅= 4.21, SD = 0.56). Similarly, a user satisfaction survey with 40 general users also revealed a high level of satisfaction (x̅ = 3.94, SD = 0.48). The researchers hope that this application will support “Route Planning” for multi-destination tourism in the future.
