Content-based Filtering and Web Scraping in Website for Recommended Anime

Higher education institutions' wireless networks have different roles and network requirements, ranging from educational platforms and informative consultations. Currently, the inefficient use of network resources, poor wireless planning, and other factors, affect having a robust and stable network platform. Different authors have investigated the various strategies for the optimization of wireless infrastructures. Still, most of the cases studied aim to improve traditional performance variables without considering maximizing the level of user satisfaction, which represents a flaw that this research paper hopes to solve through SDWN and a predictive model. The authors will determine an appropriate methodology to estimate the user's level of satisfaction through an algorithm or predictive model based on nonlinear multiple regression supported on network performance variables, making a characterization of the project's environment analyzing the wireless conditions. The investigation phases will follow the life cycle guidelines defined by the Cisco PPDIOO methodology (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize). As a result, it is expected that the project will be the beginning of academic research that will help create strategies to optimize the WiFi network of any educational institution to maximize user satisfaction. In short, the optimization process provides the network with differentiating factors through a modular design with variable modification of parameters according to the users' requirements and needs.

Levels of service user satisfaction in secure settings – A survey of the association between perceived social climate, perceived therapeutic relationship and satisfaction with forensic services

Purpose Facebook is a social networking media that has a big share in sharing information. Therefore, the college library that aims to meet the needs of the civitas academic information utilize this social media. This study aims to determine the level of user satisfaction of Facebook library Universitas Airlangga. Design/methodology/approach The method used is descriptive quantitative approach. The research location is at Universitas Airlangga Library Surabaya, Indonesia. The sampling technique is purposive, using the criteria of the academic community of Universitas Airlangga who become an active member or visit the Facebook of social network Facebook owned library at least three times in the past one month. The number of samples in this study were 220 respondents. Findings The results of this study indicate that the level of user satisfaction on the Facebook library shows the highest is as surveillance and the level of subsequent satisfaction in a row is as social relationship, individual identity and diversion entertainment. The biggest motive utilizing the Facebook library is to search for information about the library. Practical implications In the era of booming social media Facebook for teenagers who are the largest users of college libraries, utilizing Facebook social networking media in the library is considered effective. Originality/value This area is has been rarely researched by researchers in Indonesia.

Website covid19.kalbarprov.go.id is a website that serves as a medium for spreading information about the spread of the coronavirus in West Kalimantan. Currently, the number of covid19.kalbarprov.go.id website users is very large because many people want to know the latest information about the coronavirus in the West Kalimantan region. Therefore it is necessary to measure the level of user satisfaction on the site covid19.kalbarprov.go.id. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of user satisfaction with website services using the Webqual 4.0 method. Webqual is one method of measuring website quality based on the perception of end-users. Webqual variables are usability, information quality, service interaction quality, and user satisfaction. In processing research data using the smartPLS application to determine the level of validity and reliability of the data obtained. The results showed that usability, information quality, and service interaction had a positive effect on User Satisfaction. So it can be concluded that the quality of usability, quality of information, and quality of service interaction affect the satisfaction of website users covid19.kalbarprov.go.id.

Rapid advances in technology, particularly in the Internet of Things (IoT), are enabling the development of devices and robots that can be operated remotely. This research explores the effects of APILASTIK Quality Check Robot Appearance and Features on User Satisfaction Level. This tool, developed by Computer Engineering Technology students at IPB University's Vocational School, aims to detect defects in production products. The robot attracted great attention when it was presented at IT FEST 2023, showing the potential for wide use. Evaluations of the robot's appearance and features showed a positive and significant influence on the level of user satisfaction, with each variable contributing 66.4% and 25.4%, respectively. Hypothesis testing confirmed the overall positive and significant impact, with the coefficient of determination (R2) reaching 82.7%. The results of multiple linear regression analysis and t-test show that the robot's appearance and features individually contribute significantly to user satisfaction. With these findings, we can understand the factors that influence user satisfaction with damage-scanning robots. The recommendation is to focus on feature development or appearance enhancement to improve overall user satisfaction.

High levels of service user satisfaction are viewed as a reliable indicator of a service providing good care and treatment. There has been limited research looking into levels of satisfaction in forensic mental health settings with most work focused on staff satisfaction in these settings. This study examined service users' levels of satisfaction with a forensic mental health service in the United Kingdom. The service covered two sites; one a purpose-built secure unit and the other based in an old cottage hospital. Thirty-nine in-patients completed a 60-item validated forensic satisfaction scale. The scale measured seven domains of satisfaction as well as reporting an overall satisfaction score. The results indicated the service users were reasonably satisfied with the care and treatment they received. The domains of rehabilitation, safety, staff interaction and overall care showed the highest level of satisfaction. The high rehabilitation satisfaction score demonstrated the importance of meaningful activities for users accessing forensic services and may have been influenced by the security measures on the wards. The high safety domain score indicated respondents felt safe and secure within the wards and were likely to be influenced by positive interpersonal interactions. Good staff interaction was also an important factor in helping service users feel safe on the wards. These interactions are likely to be associated with longer periods of admission in secure services allowing therapeutic relationships to develop. Financial advice/support was the one domain that recorded negative satisfaction levels. Financial literacy training may help develop money management skills.

Water Supply and Sanitation has been a priority of Government of Nepal. Various types of urban and rural water supply and sanitation projects are now being implemented within the Government, private and NGO sectors. The normal practice of measurement of satisfaction by service providers is to measure consumers’ satisfaction on past performance. The survey design could vary from survey questions to unstructured interviews and everything in between using comparative and non-comparative scales. In comparative scaling, the respondents are asked to compare one product against the other while non-comparative scaling is used to evaluate a single product. In this study, Likert Scales is used in this study for measurement of customer satisfaction on water supply. The higher level of satisfaction with water supply is expected to be positively related to several factors such as satisfaction with water quality, and other parameters such as hours and timings of water supply, tap pressure, quantity of water supplied, responsiveness and communication of management and water tariff. The respondents’ level of satisfaction indicates that about 41 percent of respondents were neutral, they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with water services, while about 36 percent of respondents were satisfied with water services. The satisfaction scale of overall satisfaction with water services was 3.29 while 1.0 indicates strongly not satisfied while 5.0 indicate strongly satisfied. The various aspects that influence satisfaction among users which include hours and timings of water supply, tap pressure, quantity of water supplied, responsiveness and communication of management and water tariff as well as redresses of customer complaints have been examined. This study focused on the users’ satisfaction of Lekhnath small town water supply and sanitation project and the study was undertaken to analyze the current users’ satisfaction of the Lekhnath small town water supply and sanitation project. The result showed that the satisfaction level of users’ is above neutral but these were not in satisfying level. The characteristics/aspects of the service that contributed to users’ satisfaction including hours and timing, pressure, quantity and quality of water while there was slightly less satisfaction with regard to complaints about water supply.

The city government has introduced an initiative to use electric buses as a cleaner and more sustainable alternative. The success of a public transportation system is not only determined by the availability of fleet and infrastructure, but also by the level of user satisfaction. User satisfaction is an important indicator that reflects the extent to which the service meets users' expectations and needs. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the factors that influence user satisfaction, as well as the ability to predict and manage them, is key in improving the quality of public transportation services, including usage. In an effort to understand and improve trolleybus user satisfaction in Medan City, an adequate predictive analysis approach is required. By using methods such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes, we can develop predictive models that can identify patterns and trends in user data, thus enabling relevant parties to take appropriate actions to improve services. In this context, the comparison between SVM and Naïve Bayes methods will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of each method in predicting the satisfaction of electric bus users in Medan City. Based on the comparison results, the Naive Bayes algorithm shows slightly better performance compared to the Support Vector Machine in this sentiment analysis. The accuracy value generated by applying the Naive Bayes method is 58%, while applying the Support Vector Machine method is 57%. Nonetheless, both algorithms provide valuable insights into the sentiment of Medan people towards Electric Buses.

Despite the number of studies conducted on users’ satisfaction with library services, only a handful of reports was able to assess the level of users’ satisfaction with library electronic services. The review showed that previous studies measured the quality of services rendered by the federal university libraries with just a question or an extract from the ServQual instrument without proper application of the ServQual model. Identification of determinants of library users' satisfaction needs an in-depth investigation using different methods before librarians can work towards improving those identified factors for maximum utilization of library resources and services. This present study used the ServQual model for determining users' satisfaction with electronic resources and services provided in six federal university libraries. The instruments used for data collection were descriptive surveys, focus groups, observation, and interview designs. This study applied a multistage sampling technique to arrive at the 733 sample size that represented the registered postgraduate users for the selected federal university libraries from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. Structural Equation Model and SPSS were used to analyze data collected from the respondents, it was found that the federal university libraries provided minimal (acceptable) electronic services with a beta coefficient of (β=0.66**) which showed a significant level of user satisfaction with electronic services. Determinants of users’ satisfaction were a conducive environment; good Internet connection; constant power supply; adequate computer systems; use of laptops either personal or loan; longer operating hours; remote access to eResources; adequate security measures, availability and accessibility of electronic resources, currency and adequacy of electronic resources. The study concluded that users were moderately satisfied with library services provision but libraries need to improve the quality of resources quality of services provided in the various universities. This paper recommended that, the library environment must be conducive to learning; good Internet connection is provided and sustained; have power backups; provide adequate computer systems; allow users to bring in their laptops to the library; increase their operation hours; provide remote access to e-resources; re-work the security systems and subscribe to numerous electronic resources to optimally satisfied users.

This study aims to analyze the paradigm shift in university library circulation services post-COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, this study examines trends in the use of physical collections and evaluates user satisfaction with technology-based circulation services. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive method. The integrated library system collected secondary data on physical collection borrowing transactions from 2017-2019 (pre-pandemic) and 2022-2024 (post-pandemic). Primary data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 308 University of Bengkulu Library students. The questionnaire instrument integrates the satisfaction dimensions of the LibQUAL+ and EUCS models to measure user perception. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and ANOVA tests. The study results show a significant and permanent decline in the use of physical collections post-pandemic. Despite this, the overall level of user satisfaction with circulation services remains high (average 4.11 out of 5), especially in the staff dimensions (Service) and library space (Place). User satisfaction with supporting technologies, such as OPAC, also shows high value, indicating that investment in digital infrastructure is highly appreciated. The ANOVA test showed that demographic factors did not significantly influence user satisfaction. College libraries must reformulate circulation service strategies by adopting a hybrid model that balances physical and digital collections. Recommendations include strengthening the role of libraries as spaces for collaboration and informal learning, and continuous evaluation of technology-based services to improve the overall quality of services.

Public transportation is said to have good performance if the transportation is able to provide effective and efficient services, and is able to meet the demands of passengers as a means of transportation for the implementation of community activities. The research objectives are: 1) To determine the effectiveness of Marisa Terminal's performance in the new normal era, and 2) To determine the level of user satisfaction at Marisa Terminal in the new normal era. The research method used is the analysis of the operational performance assessment of public transport and the Likert Scale. From the results of the analysis, it was found that Marisa Terminal's performance has not been effective. This is due to the implementation of the new normal era. This affects the frequency, load factor, headway, and waiting time. The level of user satisfaction is very strong or very high. The criteria for user satisfaction level consist of physical quality, supporting physical quality, institutional quality, technical quality and interactive quality.

This research presents the development of a multi-destination travel route planning application using the geospatial data from Longdo map, an online map service designed for use in Thailand. The developed application, titled “Route Planning”, was implemented using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for the user interface, and Kotlin for Android mobile platform development. The core functionality of the application enables users to search for points of interest within specific categories, namely Temples, Restaurants, cafes, and tourist attractions, within a 10-kilometer radius from the user’s current location, and to automatically generate optimized travel routes across multi-destination. The application was tested in three locations, namely Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province), Wat Thanyaphon (Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province), and Pratu Chai area (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province). Experimental results showed that the application successfully searched for multi-destination across five distinct categories and accurately generated the corresponding travel routes. The difference in route distance compared to Google Maps ranged from 2 to 75%, depending on the routing algorithms used by each application. The sample group consisted of experts and tourists who tested the application in all three locations. The research instrument was a satisfaction evaluation questionnaire, and the data were analyzed based on the level of user satisfaction with the application using mean and standard deviation. An evaluation of the application’s suitability by 6 experts indicated a high level of satisfaction (x̅= 4.21, SD = 0.56). Similarly, a user satisfaction survey with 40 general users also revealed a high level of satisfaction (x̅ = 3.94, SD = 0.48). The researchers hope that this application will support “Route Planning” for multi-destination tourism in the future.

The problems faced by managers and being felt by fishing port users today are the problem of environmental cleanliness and the lack of fishin port management efforts in serving fishermen’s needs, this is due to the government’s lack of attention in implementing the functions and roles of fishing ports and existing facilities. This study aims to determine the level of performance of the Kutaraja fishing port management and the level of user satisfaction regarding the services of the Kutaraja fishing port. This research was conducted in February 2020. Located at the Kutaraja fishing port. The research method used is the survey method, namely by observing and collecting data directly on the performance of the Kutaraja fishing port management and user satisfaction regarding the services of the Kutaraja fishing port. Data collection was carried out by interview assisted by a linsit of questions / questionnaires. The results showed that the percentage value of the fishing port performance index was 78.2%. This value shows that the performance of the Kutaraja fishing port is already at a good level. The user decision index value obtained is 94.02%. This shows that the Kutaraja fishing port is still lacking in the provision of facilities, the utilization of the facilities is still low and the management of the facilities does not reflect that overall users are very satisfied with the service performance of Kutaraja fishing port, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector has been able to provide assistance for the continuation of the learning process through e-Learning services. E-Learning is an online-based learning and teaching process that utilizes information technology services. E-Learning is specially designed by the institution and integrated with academic progress data to offer the best support to students who have become increasingly familiar with information technology during the pandemic, addressing its limitations. The objective of this research is to measure user satisfaction with the e-Learning service using the PIECES framework. The PIECES framework consists of Performance, Information/data, Control/security, Efficiency, and Service categories. The PIECES framework is employed for analyzing the information system and consists of six variables: performance, information, economic, control, efficiency, and services. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 368 students from different graduation years, spanning from 2018 to 2021, who are users of the e-Learning service. Based on the gathered data analysis, the average satisfaction levels for each variable are as follows: performance scored 3.75, information scored 3.82, economic scored 3.84, control scored 3.74, efficiency scored 3.7, and services scored 3.84. Combining these values and referencing Kaplan and Norton, it can be concluded that the overall user satisfaction level with e-Learning falls into the satisfied category

PurposeThis study proposes to adopt joint application design (JAD) in the requirement gathering process on developing a knowledge management system (KMS) using Fernandez methodology. It is proposed that Fernandez methodology produces only a list of KMS features and the requirement of the feature is still unclear. This study aims to produce KMS that meets the needs and expectations of users based on features of Fernandez's methodology.Design/methodology/approachThis study was conducted using a combination methodology that combines Fernandez methodology to identify the feature needs of the organization and JAD to identify user requirements of KMS. The system prototype is evaluated by measuring user satisfaction using the Post Study System Usability Questionnaire.FindingsThe results of this study indicate that with the adoption of JAD it is possible to get the requirement in accordance with the expectations of the user. In addition, this study also shows that the level of user satisfaction with the prototype developed with the requirement is high at 84% of the maximum score.Research limitations/implicationsThis study was used only in the education context, especially teaching assistant problems at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia. For this reason, further research is needed for different contexts so that the implementation of this combination of methods can be generalized more broadly.Practical implicationsThis paper provides practical implications for the development of KMS by identifying user requirements using JAD.Originality/valueThis paper provides a combination method to generate KMS that meets user requirements.
