Design of computer interactive system for sports training based on artificial intelligence and improved support vector

Introduction. The relevance of the study is to characterize the transformation of higher education caused by the rapid development of multipolarity as a new geopolitical model of the world, which determines the strategic directions of the sociocultural significance of personnel training in physical culture and sport in educational institutions of higher education in our country. The aim of the study is to identify the sociocultural significance of the educational process of training personnel in physical culture and sport in higher education. Materials and methods. Research materials: scientific articles (platforms: eLIBRARY.RU, Scopus, Web of Science); information and analytical materials based on the results of monitoring the activities of higher education institutions of physical culture and sport in Russia. Results. Within the framework of this study the structural features were revealed and the concept of sociocultural significance of training in physical culture and sport in the system of higher education was formulated. The obtained results of the study are significant for an in-depth understanding of the essence of the sociocultural significance of personnel training in physical culture and sport in the system of higher education, allow us to identify its invariant components and ensure the integrity of the process, carry out predictive assessments of the data, as well as priorities of personnel policy, improving the quality of life, preserving and strengthening the health of the population, human capital growth. As a new type of sports training, the application of sports information technology can effectively improve the athletes’ sports level and sports performance. In this paper, based on the way and effect of sports information technology application, a system for sports teaching and training assistance is designed. Through sports training intensity monitoring, the training intensity of the athletes is obtained, and a high load alarm is triggered. At the same time, the improved hybrid Kalman filter is used to solve the posture of training movements, and the DTW algorithm is used to recognize the training movements and compare them with the standard movements to obtain the training scores. Coaches can be assisted in formulating personalized teaching strategies by using the system’s obtained sports training data. This paper’s sports teaching and training assistance system has a significantly shorter response time than the two comparative systems, which suggests it has better response performance and practicality. The RMSE values of the improved hybrid Kalman filter are 0.92, 0.84 and 1.47 for the roll, pitch and yaw angles, respectively, which are better than that of the extended Kalman filter, indicating that it is closer to the original data and has better data fusion performance. Compared with the control class using traditional teaching strategies, the students in the experimental class using the personalized teaching strategies of this paper have higher skill improvement, indicating that the strategies of this paper have an important guiding role for personalized physical education teaching.

On December 11 and 12, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Beira Interior hosted the 11th International Congress of the Scientific Society of Sports Pedagogy, under the theme "Sports Pedagogy between tradition, innovation and sustainability: exploring frontiers". The event brought together around 120 participants, including teachers, coaches, technicians, students and researchers, in a space for reflection and sharing that reaffirmed the centrality of sports pedagogy in human development. For two days, the congress was marked by humanism, generosity and constructive sharing, values ​​that were reflected both in the quality of the interventions and in the active participation of the congress attendees. The plenary sessions, the 43 free communications and the thematic workshops provided rich debates and practical experiences that crossed tradition and innovation, reinforcing the plural and formative character of sport as a social phenomenon. The guest speakers were excellent: Javier Fernandez-Rio (University of Oviedo) led the opening conference on the paths of sports pedagogy between tradition and innovation, while Vítor Ferreira (FMH-UL) concluded with a reflection on the pedagogical qualification of sports professionals. The round table, with Jorge Olímpio Bento (FADEUP), Rui Resende (ESDL-IPVC) was an invitation to reflection and action, reminding us that restlessness must accompany us and that pedagogical thinking cannot give in to fads or superficiality, with a clear defense of a humanistic, critical and transformative sports education. The workshops, taught by specialists, took place in four areas: Physical Education, Nature Sports, Physical Activity and Health, and Sports Training, allowing participants to experience innovative methodologies that can be mobilized in different contexts. This diversity reinforced the idea that Sports Pedagogy is a polysemous, plural field of high educational value. The congress constituted a true space for dialogue, in which speakers and participants, with generosity and a critical spirit, contributed to refocusing concerns on Sports Pedagogy and reflecting on a humanistic, critical, and transformative sports education. It was, without a doubt, a moment of affirmation for the scientific and professional community that believes in sport as an instrument for integral development. This edition of JSPR presents the abstracts of the oral communications that were presented at the 11th SCPD Congress and developed in master's and doctoral dissertations, research projects, and others, possessing high quality and contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in the various areas related to Sports Sciences, namely Physical Education, Sports Training, Nature Sports and Active Tourism, and Physical Activity and Health.

The high-quality development of physical education in primary and secondary school sports is conducive to building a leading country in education and sports, to develop a high-quality educational system, and to cultivate new generations with ideals, abilities, and responsibilities. Artificial intelligence technology provides strong technical support for the high-quality development of school sports. This research aims to explore how to integrate artificial intelligence technology with school sports and provide a theoretical reference for the high-quality development of school sports in the compulsory education stage. Method: By using the methods of literature review, logical analysis, and field research, this research deeply explored the value implication, action mechanism, and promotion path of the high-quality development of physical education in primary and secondary school sports empowered by artificial intelligence. Firstly, the high-quality development of physical education in primary and secondary school sports has four value implications, including deepening the reform of physical education teaching, improving the quality of talent training, enhancing the efficiency of education governance, and promoting the fairness of physical education. Secondly, computer vision, speech recognition, large language models, and other artificial intelligence, through empowering teaching, learning, evaluation, research, management, and cultivation in physical education in primary and secondary schools, can realize accurate sports teaching, create efficient learning environment, booster multi-dimensional evaluation, build digital research space, promote modern education management, build collaborative education mechanism. Thirdly, to realize the high-quality development of physical education in primary and secondary school sports empowered by artificial intelligence includes: consolidating the policy foundation and strengthening the policy implementation, improving relevant standards and setting up standard models, improving digital infrastructure and breaking through technical limitations, stimulating the vitality of subjects and building a collaborative network, clarifying the role positioning, and improve digital literacy. This research discussed the application of artificial intelligence technology in teaching, learning, evaluation, research, management, and cultivation in physical education in primary and secondary school sports from the micro level, to realize the improvement of education quality, talent quality, teacher quality, and management, and then promote high-quality development. In the digital era, emerging technologies are empowering basic education. Therefore, future studies can explore the application of other digital technologies and physical education in the compulsory education stage, or from other stages of education.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is completely changing the sports education system by transforming conventional approaches and improving training and educational opportunities. This study explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing sports education, emphasising its uses, advantages, and drawbacks. We explore how AI technologies like machine learning, computer vision, and data analytics are being used to improve performance analysis, personalize training programs, and streamline decision - making processes by examining current trends and advancements. We demonstrate the practical application of AI in real - world scenarios, such as talent identification, injury prevention, and sports coaching, through in - depth case studies. According to our research, AI - driven solutions that provide individualized learning experiences and data - driven insights greatly increase the efficacy and efficiency of sports teaching. However, there are drawbacks to integrating AI, such as the need for a strong technological foundation and the need to take ethical considerations into account. According to the results of our research, AI has a great deal of promise to improve sports instruction, but a balanced research approach is required to fully realize these benefits and traverse its intricacies. The sports education system can be greatly enhanced by resolving the issues and utilizing AI's potential, opening the door for more knowledgeable and efficient training approaches.

The aim of this study is to reveal child abuse in schools from the perspectives of physical education and sports teachers and to provide suggestions for preventing abuse. Case study approach, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The participants of the study consisted of 7 physical education and sports teachers. In this study, semi-structured interview was used as a data collection tool and the data obtained were analysed by content analysis method. As a result of the research, the opinions of physical education and sport teachers were grouped under four categories: types of abuse, signs of abuse, areas open to abuse and suggestions for preventing abuse. Types of abuse were divided into 4 subcategories as physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and neglect. The types of abuse were determined as hitting by the teacher, performance pressure, nicknaming the student, secretly watching, making fun of each other's bodies, ignoring the students' desire to participate in competitions, and neglecting their nutritional needs in tournaments. Symptoms of abuse include quitting the branch, temper tantrums, unkempt appearance, need for love and attention, withdrawal and desire to be alone. Areas open to abuse were identified as changing rooms, out-of-school activities, toilets, areas not seen by the camera, basements and empty classrooms. Suggestions for preventing abuse include educational programmes, physical environment safety and ensuring safety in sports activities. Teachers emphasised that university level courses should be added to increase child protection awareness in the field of sport and in-service trainings should be organised for existing educators.

Context Continuing education (CE) in health care, particularly in athletic training, often fails to meet the needs of its participants. Rapid increases in available information make it necessary for CE to be delivered as efficiently as possible. Objective To explore whether an interactive teaching strategy and various characteristics of athletic trainers affected the perceived knowledge of emergency skills among certified athletic trainers. Design Quasiexperimental study with a single-group pretest-posttest design. Patients or Other Participants Certified athletic trainers (N = 81) at the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Meeting and Symposium. Intervention(s) Emergency skills practice session for anaphylaxis, opioid overdose, diabetes, and asthma. Main Outcome Measure(s) Participants completed a preintervention perceived knowledge questionnaire (PKQ) that included background information questions and completed a postintervention PKQ. Results A statistically significant difference (P < .001) in PKQ scores from pretest to posttest was found with pretest scores being lower than posttest scores (89.59 and 103.02, respectively). Age and years of experience had a weak correlation with PKQ pretest scores (rs = .32 and rs = .33, respectively). Participant characteristics including additional certification (P = .012), anaphylaxis experience (P = .036), opioid overdose experience (P < .001), diabetes experience (P = .025), and combined emergency experience (P = .029) had significantly different pretest PKQ scores. Conclusions The use of an interactive teaching strategy in CE and certain athletic trainer characteristics significantly affected athletic trainers' perceived knowledge of emergency skills.

Background: Sportsmanship represents a core moral and ethical dimension of sport, reflecting respect for rules, opponents, and fair play. Understanding the structure of sportsmanship attitudes among future Physical Education and Sports teachers is crucial for improving professional preparation and promoting ethical conduct in sport. Objective: This study aimed to identify distinct clusters of sportsmanship attitudes among students at the National Sports Academy “Vassil Levski” to inform pedagogical approaches in Physical Education and Sports training. Methods: A total of 134 students (83 men and 51 women) participated in the study. Sportsmanship was assessed using the Bulgarian-adapted Multidimensional Sportspersonship Orientation Scale (MSOS). Descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney U-test, and hierarchical cluster analysis based on Manhattan distance and the Complete Linkage Method were applied. Results: Both male and female students demonstrated high levels of sportsmanship, particularly regarding commitment to participation, respect for rules, and positive attitudes toward sport. Cluster analysis identified three distinct profiles among male students and four among females, revealing variations in respect toward rules, opponents, and social conventions. Conclusion: The findings confirm well-developed sportsmanship attitudes among future Physical Education and Sports teachers and highlight the value of cluster analysis for identifying subgroup differences. These insights can support the design of targeted educational programs that strengthen moral reasoning, respect, and integrity in teacher training and sports education.

Augmented reality tools for sports education and training

AI public sports teaching technology is applied to daily indoor or outdoor fixed sports tests, ability assessments, and sports classroom teaching scenarios. It provides automated voice broadcast guidance, sports video AI intelligent engine automatic analysis, real-time detection of illegal actions, and intelligent real-time output of sports test results; Through AI intelligent guidance, the whole process of basketball test sports analysis and training suggestions are realized, and students are encouraged to conduct self-evaluation, promote training through testing, and practice more frequently. It also promotes the normalization of sports testing/teaching in public physical education in colleges and universities through teaching demonstration video explanations and a combination of various classroom forms, accumulates campus physical test data, and assists public physical education teaching and testing in colleges and universities. AI technology has intelligent joint detection and marking, multi-subject tracking and recognition. It does not require any markers to be installed on the captured object, and can capture accurate motion through video. During the basketball test, if an abnormal situation occurs, the student needs to stop the test. AI technology uses motion capture and analysis systems to help students and teachers better understand the sports skills and techniques tested in basketball, thereby developing more effective sports teaching and training plans. Motion capture and analysis systems can be used to evaluate athletes’ gait and posture to help them improve their techniques and reduce the risk of injury.

This chapter examines the role of music in artistic sports, regarding the pedagogical, emotional, cognitive, and esthetic dimensions of training. Starting from literature in physical education, sport pedagogy, musicology, and psychology, the text explores how music functions not only as a performance backdrop but also as a structuring and expressive tool within training environments. Music is shown to enhance rhythmic perception, motor coordination, emotional engagement, and expressive sensitivity, especially in sports such as rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, figure skating, and artistic swimming. Through a review of recent research, including qualitative analyses, the chapter highlights how the congruence between music and movement influences performance quality, as well as how music serves as a motivational and organizational device in training routines. The discussion extends to the training of coaches, advocating for the development of auditory sensitivity and musical literacy as pedagogical competencies. By framing coaches as esthetic mediators, the chapter emphasizes the need for musical education as part of coach development programs in esthetic-oriented disciplines. Finally, it problematizes the cultural devaluation of expressiveness and musicality in sports training, often seen as feminine attributes, calling for a broader understanding of music as an integral element of human movement and sporting excellence.

In this paper, the hourglass network is used to extract the key points of human skeleton of students during physical education teaching and sports training, and to estimate the students' single movement posture characteristics by eliminating the abnormal frames and coordinate transformations, parameter calculations, and division of possible movement intervals. Based on the differences in the movement posture features, the DTW algorithm is used to calculate the similarity between the student's movements and the teacher's movements during physical education and sports training, and score them accordingly. In the key action posture matching, the matching success rate of this paper's method for six types of actions is between 70.52% and 90.43%, which is higher than that of other methods. The classification accuracy calculated by this paper's method based on similarity is high, and the number of classification errors for the 6 classes of actions is mostly in the range of 0-3 times. The number of model parameters of this paper's method on 2 validation sets is only 13.1M, which is lightweight. In the motion pose matching deviation rate experiments, the scoring deviation rate of this paper's method for the excellent and unqualified phases ranges from 3.16% to 5.56%, and the overall scoring deviation is in line with expectations.

This study analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on sports training, highlighting its ability to personalize exercise programs and optimize athlete performance. Objective: To identify how AI can improve the management of individualized training (IT). Methodology: A mixed-methods approach was used, based on the PRISMA protocol and the ARA methodology, reviewing relevant scientific literature from the last 10 years. Text management relied on academic search engines (Google Scholar), digital institutional repositories, and journals indexed in various databases: Redalyc, DOAJ, Latindex, and SCIMAGO, which allowed access to journals in Scopus and SciELO. Results: A rapid expansion in the use of AI was observed since 2020, with applications including dynamic load adjustment, motion analysis, and predictive models for injury prevention. The reviewed studies show that AI not only improves training effectiveness but also increases athlete participation and motivation. Conclusions: AI is emerging as an essential tool in modern sports, facilitating an individualized approach that considers the unique characteristics of each athlete. However, its implementation faces challenges related to data quality and ethics. It is crucial to ensure that AI integration is carried out responsibly, maintaining human intervention in decision-making to maximize its benefits in sports training.

In the field of sports, the successful application of computer-aided system in various sports has been paid more and more attention by PE teachers and coaches. We know that the computer-aided system involved in the field of physical education and training, not only will improve the scientific training teaching to a new stage, but also bring the rapid improvement of the level of competitive sports. The application of high-tech achievements in sports training and teaching is the development direction of modern sports teaching and training. The emergence of computer-aided system technology provides a strong driving force for swimming teaching and training to a faster and better level. This paper expounds the composition and characteristics of the computer-aided swimming teaching system and the particularity of swimming teaching and training. This paper discusses the feasibility of the application of computer aided system in swimming teaching and training.
