Military clouds: utilization of cloud computing systems at the battlefield

Information technology penetrates into education field continuously with development of information technology. Information technology is playing an increasingly important role in education. Information technology has changed traditional mode of education, and created a brand-new learning environment for educatees. In-depth integration of information technology and basic education is one of important approaches to improve basic education teaching quality and promote basic education reform. It is innovative development of basic education. In the paper, method of strengthening in-depth integration of information technology and basic education is mainly discussed. Traditional education mode is compared with the in-depth integration teaching mode of information technology and education for discovering their difference. The teaching development trend of information technology and education teaching deeply integrated with basic education is analyzed for discovering problems in in-depth integration of information technology and basic education. Methods of strengthening information technology and basic education in-depth integration are proposed for driving in-depth integration of information technology and basic education.

Introduction. A comprehensive analysis of the development of information and communication technologies in the context of educational practice will contribute to the development of effective strategies for the modernisation of educational systems in the context of global technological change. Modern education can no longer function effectively without the integration of information and communication technologies into the educational process. Information and communication technologies open up new opportunities for personalisation of the educational process, development of independent work skills, creativity, critical thinking, and communication. At the same time, their implementation is accompanied by certain challenges: the need to modernise educational programmes, train teaching staff, provide technical infrastructure, and overcome digital inequality. The study of the historical stages of development of information and communication technologies in education allows us to understand the patterns of implementation of these technologies and identify effective strategies for their use today. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the stages of development of information and communication technologies in the context of their introduction into educational practice, to analyse the historical background of integration of information and communication technologies into education, and to identify current trends and prospects for their effective use in the educational process. Methods. The study used theoretical methods of scientific and pedagogical research analysis (dissection of historical and pedagogical material into its component parts (facts, ideas, concepts, events) allows to reveal the essence of certain phenomena, trends in the pedagogical past); synthesis (combining individual facts and provisions into a holistic view of pedagogical phenomena, used after analysis to form a generalised picture); historical and logical method (study of pedagogical phenomena in the chronological sequence and logic of their development, makes it possible to establish the patterns of development of pedagogical ideas); comparative and historical method (comparison of pedagogical phenomena, ideas, education systems in different historical periods or in different countries, allowing to identify common, different and unique); induction and deduction (induction – from individual facts to general conclusions, deduction – from general principles to explanation of individual historical and pedagogical facts); abstraction and generalisation (separation of essential features of pedagogical phenomena, construction of generalisations, concepts, typologies); prognostic method (use of historical and pedagogical experience to predict possible directions of education development). Results. The study has shown that information and communication technologies are the driving force behind the transformation of education, and their integration into the educational process requires not only technical support but also methodological training of teachers, updating of educational programmes, and rethinking of traditional educational models. The study identifies eight stages of the development of information and communication technologies; the periodisation of the development of information and communication technologies reflects the gradual transition from early forms of information storage and transmission to modern information and communication technologies. The further development of information and communication technologies in education will help to increase its accessibility, efficiency, and inclusiveness. Mass computerisation, the Internet, mobile technologies, cloud services, and artificial intelligence. The development of information and communication technologies is a multidimensional process that combines new opportunities with large-scale challenges. Successful digital transformation depends on the ability of society to effectively manage these challenges, ensuring inclusive, secure, ethical, and environmentally responsible development of information and communication technologies. Only by integrating innovation with the principles of sustainable development can a harmonious digital future be shaped. Originality. The article examines the evolution of information and communication technologies in the context of education, analyzes the key stages of their development, as well as current trends in the integration of information and communication technologies into educational practice. Particular attention is paid to the impact of digitalisation on educational processes and the formation of innovative pedagogical approaches. The main challenges and prospects for further implementation of information and communication technologies in education are outlined. In particular, attention is paid to the problems of digital inequality, cybersecurity, ethical aspects of the use of information and communication technologies, and the role of innovation in ensuring sustainable technological progress in the context of education. Conclusion. Information and communication technologies play a key role in the transformation of education, providing new opportunities for accessibility, flexibility, and personalisation of the educational process. The historical development of information and communication technologies shows their growing importance in pedagogical practice. Modern education is actively introducing distance learning formats, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and other innovations. At the same time, there are challenges, such as digital inequality, the need for digital literacy of teachers, and cybersecurity issues. Effective integration of information and communication technologies into education requires a systematic approach, investment, and methodological support.

The problem is that planning for the development of information and communication technology has not run the pace of development for Tegal City in line with national development planning so that the role of ICT has not been optimal in its implementation and the knowledge, skills and innovative creativity of the Tegal City apparatus, Central Java Province, is still low in the utilization of information technology. The theory used in this study uses Muchlis Hamdi's public policy theory with dimensions: 1) productivity, 2) linearity, 3) efficiency, and the determinant factors that influence supporters and obstacles, 1) substance of the policy, 2) behavior of the executor's task, 3) network interaction, 4) target group participation, 5) resources, policy implementation of information technology utilization in Tegal City, Central Java Province. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, namely data collection by interviews, documentation and observation with data analysis, namely data reduction (data reduction), data display (display data), and conclusion drawing/verification (drawing conclusions/verification) with triangulation techniques on the data obtained. Conclusion: the implementation of information technology utilization policies in Tegal City, Central Java Province, is good but not optimal due to problems in the use of SPBE development information technology in the Tegal City government, namely that it has not yet been implemented, not all Human Resources (HR) in OPD The City of Tegal understands the use of information technology, the knowledge, skills and innovative creativity of the Tegal City apparatus and the beneficiaries of community policies, not all layers of Tegal City society can utilize information technology and understand it. The researcher found a new model, namely the name Information Technology Utilization Model "JADIR", a policy for utilizing information technology in the City of Tegal, Central Java Province, can be a solution and optimize the performance of the Tegal City government apparatus in order to implement good governance and provide quality public services through the utilization adequate information technology in an efficient and effective manner.

Cloud computing is a combination of computer technology and internet-based development. Cloud computing uses the term "cloud", or cloud, to describe the internet, which is often depicted on computer network diagrams. Cloud computing capacity is an information technology service that can be accessed via the internet without knowing the infrastructure behind it. This opens up the possibility of accessing and using technology more efficiently and flexibly. The development of information technology, especially cloud computing, has had a significant impact in various fields, including education. Cloud computing changes the way information technology is distributed and accessed, providing opportunities for educational institutions to access data and educational resources more efficiently and flexibly. It also helps educational institutions to focus more on core educational processes without having to manage technology infrastructure directly. Teaching about cloud computing is becoming increasingly important. Because through an introduction to the basic concepts, types, benefits and practical applications of cloud computing, students can understand the importance of this technology in the modern world. Thus, teaching and training measures such as those described in this study are expected to help increase the understanding and application of cloud computing among students, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities in the ever-evolving digital era.

Using a case study approach, 36 students were surveyed about the development of Information Technology (IT) skills during their pre- and in-service training programme for trainee teachers for the Further Education (FE) sector. A short questionnaire was developed and used to assess student capability and attitudes towards IT in the FE Curriculum after they had completed a specific IT module. The results show that the type and range of IT use continues to be limited, with most respondents emphasising standard applications packages such as word processing, spreadsheet and presentation packages for the preparation of teaching materials. There was little evidence produced of IT use within teaching practice classrooms or the use of computer-assisted learning in specific subjects. Overall, as a result of their experiences on the optional IT module, the trainee teachers reported significant gains in IT skills relevant to teaching and learning. Additionally, their desire to use IT increased significantly. The principal factors reported as facilitating the greater use of IT in their work were the provision of suitable study programmes (modules), encouragement by teacher-training staff and on their view of the importance of IT in teaching. Factors which were reported as inhibiting greater use of IT were lack of time, limits on access to facilities, and IT phobia. The author recommends that further research is carried out on a range of examples of effective and innovative classroom use of IT to enable the progressive enrichment of the IT experiences of FE teachers.

This study empirically examined the influence of two contingency factors: involvement executive and system complexity on the relationship between user participation and progressive use of information technology in Indonesian's Banking Industry, with residual approach. This approach is used to avoid econometrics problem which often arise at usage of interaction method in regression analysis using contingency factors. Based on respons 92 managers, result of this research indicate that relation between executive participation in development of information system with progressive use information technology positive and signifikan, result of this similar with theoretical base that active participation of executive in development of information system improve progressive use of information technology. Second, the results study indicated that factor executive involvement in development of information system have an effect on significan so that strengthen direct relation between participation with progressive use information technology. Combination according to between participation involvement executive (high) can improve progressive use of realized information technology with direct role of executive to innovation and successfulness use of information technology. While result of research concerning influence of system complexity to relation between executive participation in development of information technology with progressive use of information technology do not obtain evidence support which significan, that system complexity strengthen the relation.

Hacking is a technique carried out by someone (hacker, cracker, intruder, or attacker) to attack a system, network, and application by exploiting weaknesses with the intention of gaining access rights to data and systems. Currently, the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is experiencing very rapid growth. The development of information technology, especially the internet, has provided many positive benefits for its users. However, the use of internet technology also has negative impacts that cannot be ignored. The increase in Cybercrime cases in Indonesia is also caused by the impact of advances in Information Technology. Based on this explanation, the aim of this research is to find out how to study law enforcement procedures for hacking victims on digital platforms and how to ensure that digital platform users are more regulated regarding cyber security. The research method used is a descriptive analytical method. The results and discussion in this research are that handling crime cases in the field of information and electronic transactions is a responsibility that has been established for investigators, especially cyber patrols, to investigate and uncover these crimes. The investigation process has a very important and strategic role in determining the success of criminal law enforcement. The quality of a good investigation greatly determines the possibility of success in the prosecution process and makes it easier to reveal material truths during the trial. In order to prevent cybercrime, it is important for individuals and governments to have a deep understanding of crime patterns in the digital realm as well as current and ongoing internet trends and behavior carried out by perpetrators of these crimes. The article explores the processes of global use of information technologies and systems, which allows creating economic benefits and promoting social and political integration, causing general prosperity and sustainable development of society. A review of the networked readiness system is provided, which provides executives with directive information on the key pillars to take into account the full use of information and communication technologies in their economic growth strategies. The essence of the modern model of the Network Readiness Index (NRI), which consists of four main pillars (technology, people, governance and impact), is revealed, each of which is formed from three sub-pillars, defining in a complex the real state of the use of information and communication technologies in a particular country. The rating of Ukraine according to the Networked Readiness Index and its main four pillars is presented. The degree of implementation of information technologies at Ukrainian enterprises by types of economic activity and their use of information and communication technologies, depending on the average number of employees, taking into account access to the Internet, the presence of a website and the purchase of cloud computing services are given. The essence and measurements of the basic principles (scientific validity, competence, timeliness, completeness of content, flexibility and homeostaticity) regarding the adoption of management decisions in the network economy are considered, which allows obtaining a synergistic effect. It is proposed to focus further research on the generation and design of a communication and information technology system, increasing investment in the information and communication technology sector and further popularizing the Internet and developing e-commerce.

<p>Information Technology (IT) as a set of produced ideas is available for individuals and organizations through hardware mechanisms and plays a major role in the development of human resources. In today’s world, IT is the key factor of human development in organizations and communities. Trends and results of the literature review confirm contribution of the IT tools in human resources area i.e. to accomplish assigned human resources tasks by using the source of IT capabilities. In the current era the use of information systems and new technologies, especially IT in organizations and communities is the most important tool to improve efficiency and it will accelerate movement toward this direction. Improper use of it can impose problems to the organization and it also reduces productivity. The aim of this paper is to investigates the impact of IT on the productivity of human recourses and gives a brief overview about possibilities of IT usage in human resources field for measuring and tracking human capital and using the human resources information system generally. The results of this, study revealed that there is significant relationship between use of IT and human resource management functions, also a positive and significant effect of the ICTs on employment rate.</p>

The purpose of the study is to reveal the objective transformations that have occurred in information technology. Conceptualization of these transformations is also important. System, information, network and cognitive approaches allow to reveal the main aspects of the development of information technologies - technical and technological, software and hardware, network, communication, cognitive. The article considers the evolution of information technology. The relationship of information technology with its increasing role and importance of information in the life of man and society is analyzed. Information technologies are disclosed as technologies to create, store, record and process information. Technical and technological direction of information technology development is analyzed. The connection of the information technology concept transformation and development of the information society theory, in particular, the theory of post-industrial society, information society, network society, knowledge society and the digital world is revealed. The connection of the information technology concept transformation and the emergence of the media civilization and global information space is also revealed. The article shows that the development of information technology is an important factor in the development of the information society. Technology transition (the electronic computer as a machine) to the modern stage of development of digital technologies is characterized by the formation of a single technical and technological basis for the formation of the information society. The classification of information technology according to its application scope is proposed. Information and communication technologies characterize subject-to-subject interactions, among which pedagogical and political technologies are primarily distinguished. Information space is separate area of information technology application. Information processing technologies in the information space are the basis of modern democratic discourse. An important area of information technology is the information sphere. Information sphere is the sphere of information activity, information exchange and information relations, the regulator of which is the information law. Information security technologies ensure the protection of human rights, society and the state in obtaining objective information. Cybersecurity technologies protect critical infrastructure. The technologies of reality – virtual, cognitive, and augmented – provide the ability of a person’s consciousness and thinking to process and create new information. Identifying the social significance of the technical and technological development of information technologies becomes the basis of recommendations for the implementation of a strategies for the formation of the information society in Ukraine.

In order to adapt to rapid development of network information technology, the application of cloud computing technology is increasingly widespread. However, the security problem in the cloud computing environment has not been effectively resolved. Currently, the research on this problem is getting more attention from the industry. In order to further investigate the information security issues of cloud computing environment, this article not only discusses the basic concept, characteristics and service model of cloud computing, but also focuses on the cloud computing security reference model and cloud cube model. In this paper, the information security problems and concrete solutions in the former cloud computing environment are discussed from different aspects.

The rapid development in technology has provided the globalization and to facilitate the exchange of information. The importance of tertiary education has been increasing due to its contribution for development plan’s manpower requirements in quality and quantity. Developments in information systems and technology have provided significant opportunities for higher education institutions. In this research; the implementation and development of information systems and technology in higher education institutions are chosen as a problem in comparison with global scale and taking into account the development of proposals. In this context; the developed countries’ higher education institutions’ were examined, after then universities’ information systems and technologies’ current status and degree of functionality are compared, and finally the proposals were developed. For this purpose; higher education institutions’ level of readiness for e-transformation, information technologies’ contribution to today's class and on the quality of education in shaping the contribution of higher education to shape the future and global competition ready workforce, the growing importance of information technologies on distance learning and on lifelong learning, higher education institutions’ role, and contribution to development of information technology, and the contribution of the envisaged objectives of the development plan.

Purpose– Cloud Computing (CC) technology is getting implemented rapidly in the educational sector to improve learning, research and other administrative process. As evident from the literature review, most of these implementations are happening in the western countries such as USA, UK, while the level of implementation of CC in developing countries such as India is rare. Moreover, implementing CC technology in the educational sector require various decisions to be made by the managers of the Information Technology (IT) department such as selecting suitable deployment model, vendor providing cloud service, etc. in their respective university or institute. The purpose of this paper is to attempt to address one such decision. Since, different types of CC deployment are available; selecting a suitable one plays a key role, as it might have an impact on the requirements of various stakeholders such as students, teachers, administrative staff (especially the staff members in the IT department), etc. apart from affecting the overall performance of the facilities such as a laboratory. Naturally, a proper decision by analysing multiple perspectives has to be made while carrying out such strategic initiatives by any educational institute.Design/methodology/approach– A case study methodology has been chosen as the research methodology to discuss and demonstrate the above decision problem that was faced in real time by one of the educational institutes in India, offering high-quality management education. The IT managers of this institute were planning to switch over to CC technology for the computer laboratory and they have to make a decision of choosing suitable alternative CC deployment models such as private cloud (PRC), public cloud (PUC), community cloud (COC), hybrid cloud (HYC), etc. by analysing and comparing them based on various factors and perspectives such as elasticity, availability, scalability, etc. Since, multiple factors are involved in making such a strategic decision, the most commonly used Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) model – namely, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used as a decision support during the decision making process.Findings– The team of decision makers, who were planning to implement CC in the case institute, found that PRC is best as they believed that it would provide adequate cost savings, apart from providing necessary security to maintain confidential information such as student's detail, grades, etc.Research limitations/implications– The results obtained are based on a single case study. Hence, they cannot be generalized for institutions across educational sector. However, the decision making situation and understanding its impact on the stakeholders of the educational institute can be common across various educational institute.Practical implications– Using a real-life case study of an educational institute, this paper presented a strategic decision making situation, which needs to be considered by the IT managers of the educational institutes when they decide to switch over to CC technology. Various criteria to be considered during the decision making process was identified from the literature review were identified and enumerated. These factors would useful for the IT managers of the different educational institute and they can suitably add or delete these decision criteria as per their requirements and situation at hand. Moreover, the algorithm of AHP, which was used as a decision support, was presented in a step-by-step manner, which should be beneficial for the practitioners to apply the same for similar decision making situations.Originality/value– It is believed that this paper would be the first to report on a strategic decision of choosing the deployment model for CC technology especially in the educational sector. Similarly, this paper would also contribute to the field of CC, as it lists out the decision criteria that are to be considered for making the above decision, which has not got adequate importance. Lastly, this paper is also unique in the realm of AHP because application for a decision problem in the field of CC especially in the educational sector is least reported.

The article is dedicated to the development and application of information technologies to support the educational process of individuals with special educational needs. A conceptual model is proposed that combines modern information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence methods and mathematical models for personalizing learning and taking into account the individual characteristics of participants in the educational process. Specific requirements for an inclusive environment are considered, in particular, taking into account the cognitive, sensory and communication characteristics of students. Existing approaches to the use of information and communication technologies are analyzed, in particular, artificial intelligence systems, mathematical modeling and adaptive learning platforms. An analysis of domestic and foreign research in the field of inclusive learning and the implementation of digital solutions is conducted, and the advantages of integrating intelligent systems into learning platforms are also identified. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time a model for supporting inclusive learning has been developed, which is based on a mathematical description of this process and, unlike known solutions, involves the integrated use of information technologies at each stage of learning, which made it possible to determine the structural and functional requirements for the platform architecture and ensure effective information support for an inclusive educational environment. Practical examples of the use of UML diagrams and Petri nets to formalize processes and reflect the interaction between key learning participants are given. The results of the work may be useful for developers of educational systems and inclusion specialists. The use of the described solutions makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of learning, promote social adaptation and develop the potential of individuals with special educational needs in the modern information space.

IT Governance is a branch of the corporate governance system focused on information technology (IT) as well as performance and risk management. IT Governance is defined as the processes that ensure the effective and efficient use of IT in enabling an organization to achieve its goal. There are many different frameworks that can be used for managing the delivery of cost-effective IT services. IT managing the delivery of cost-effective IT services does not always give the advantage to the company. There are times when the IT managing the delivery of cost-effective IT services does not provide any benefit, it can cause IT Productivity Paradox. IT Productivity Paradox can be prevented, one is to analyze the processes undertaken with IT. From this analysis we will get the significance of the relationship processes with the IT Goal. The significance will be seen which one significant process and which one are not significant to the IT Goal. If the IT process there are not significant to the IT Goal, the process does not need to be repaired because it has no effect on IT Goal. Existing IT governance frameworks are COBIT, ITIL, ISO 20000, 17799/27001, Six Sigma, etc. The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), initially developed in the UK by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), is gaining traction in the global IT community as a framework for IT governance. ISO 20000-focusing upon IT service management. ISO 17799 / ISO 27001 - focusing upon information. Six Sigma-focusing upon operational performance and defect identification. COBIT - framework for information IT management risks. Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) provides good practices across a domain and process framework and presents activities in a manageable and logical structure. COBIT’s good practices represent the consensus of experts. They are strongly focused more on control, less on execution. These practices will help optimise IT-enabled investments, ensure service delivery and provide a measure against which to judge when things do go wrong. This research is intend to find out whether Cobit mapping Business Goal to IT Goal appropriate with case study. The result The results using SEM approach shows that the mapping of COBIT is not significant in the case studies of academic administration.
