Modern vs Traditional: Comparative Study of Efficacious Arabic Language Learning Methods

The issue faced in the 4th-grade class during the learning process is that students’ understanding of the lesson material is still lacking. Even though a learning model is being used, its implementation has not been maximized. This study aims to examine the effect of audiovisual media using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model with the assistance of animation videos on the learning outcomes of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) for 4th-grade students at SDN 01 Pulau Punjung. This is a quantitative study using an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research method used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study consists of all students in 4th-grade classes IV-A and IV-B. The sample consists of 32 students, with 20 students in class IV-A and 12 students in class IV-B. The experimental group was class IV-A, and the control group was class IV-B. The data collection technique used in this study was a test in the form of objective questions. Learning outcomes were measured by conducting tests twice, before (pre-test) and after using the CTL model assisted by animation videos (post-test). The research was conducted in the 2025/2026 academic year. Based on the results of the Independent Samples Test, the significance value obtained was 0.002. Since the significance value of 0.002 is less than 0.05, the paired sample t-test results show that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by animation videos on the learning outcomes of IPAS for 4th-grade students at SDN 01 Pulau Punjung.

Learning is the done outside of classroom or outdoor learning is a learning activity outside the classroom that have orientation on the surrounding natural environment that children have fun and be able to realize the nature of spiritual values students about the beauty of God's creation. How to could enjoy by means observe, understand, investigate, solve problems and find themselves all things of God's creation. One's ability to understand the demands of students indicate that they already have sufficient understanding to organize and prepare materials that have been known. While the ability to problem-solving is the process of solving a problem through the result of thought and ability alone or input from others related to the problem. In this study, researchers used a type of experimental research. Experimental research was conducted to investigate whether there is a causal relationship between the dependent and independent variables. In this study, the dependent variable is the student's ability to understand and solve the problem, while the independent variables Outdoor Learning. The research subject is class IVA (experimental) and class IVB (control) SD Al Islah Gununganyar 2015/2016 teachings. Results of testing the hypothesis that t value obtained is equal to 8.717 and a significance value of 0.000, the hypothesis testing results show that the t value obtained is greater than t table (8.717> 1.7011), while the significance value is smaller than the value of α (0.000 1,7011) sedangkan nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari nilai α (0,000 < 0,05). Berdasar hasil tersebut, maka hipotesisditerima, artinya terdapat pengaruh antara Outdoor Learning terh a dap kemampuan siswa SD Al Islah Gununganyar Surabaya dalam memahami dan memecahkan masalah. This study aims to determine the influence of the two stay two stray cooperative model on the learning outcomes of grade IV students in science learning at SDN 6 Sungai Raya. This study uses a quantitative method of the Quasi experiment design type with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study, namely class IVA as the experimental class consisting of 20 students and class IVB as the control class consisting of 16 students with a total of 36 students. The sample in this study were students of class IVA (experimental class) and IVB (control class) of SDN 6 Sungai Raya. In collecting samples using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study used observation and tests. The collection technique used test questions and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing using the t-test formula (independent sample test) with the results of the Independent t Test showing that the use of the two stray two stay type cooperative learning model has a significant impact on student learning outcomes in science lessons with a significance value of 0.034, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because the sig. value (2-tailed) with a significance of 0.034 is smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of the two stay two stray type cooperative model on the learning outcomes of class IV science lessons at SDN 6 Sungai Raya.

Learning Methods are an important component in learning, Teachers have an important role in teaching and learning activities, one of the methods that can be applied in learning Arabic is the Mubasyarah Method. The objectives of this study are (a) to determine the effect of Tariqah Mubasyarah on Arabic language learning (b) to find a solution if Tariqah Mubasyarah has no effect on Arabic language learning. The method that researchers use in this study is a Quantitative Approach, type of research Quasi Experiment, with the type of design one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of class VIII Mts Ma'had Al-Zaytun. Data analysis carried out is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, with Hypothesis Test in the form of Wilcoxon Test. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test because the data were not normally distributed. The results of the analysis showed that between the pretest and posttest showed N : 11, Mean: 10.50 and Sum: 115,50. This shows that there is a decrease in the pretest and posttest scores of 11 students with an average decrease in the pretest and posttest scores.

Low interest often leads students to become easily bored, making it difficult for them to understand the material being taught or studied. This study aimed to examine the impact of implementing an inquiry-based learning model, assisted by comic media, on enhancing students’ learning interests. The research employed a quasi-experimental design and was conducted at SDN 030 Tapango. The population and sample consisted of fourth-grade students (Class IVA and IVB), with 23 students in each class. Observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation were used as research instruments. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, such as normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that the implementation of the inquiry learning model, supported by comic media, had a positive effect on increasing students’ interest in learning social and natural studies.

This research is motivated by the learning of mathematics is the low absorption and understanding of students towards mathematical concepts, student involvement in learning mathematics is not optimal, students are still preoccupied with their own world by not paying attention to the explanation of the material provided by the teacher. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The population used was grade IV students of SDN Kertasari I, the sample in this study was class IVA as an experiment and class IVB as a control class. The results of this study class IV A (experimental class) obtained an average of 81.833 with a variance of 153.316 and a standard deviation of 12.382. Whereas the IVB class (Control class) obtained an average of 74,031 with a variance of 198,096 and a standard deviation of 14,075. So that there is an influence of the Non Non Example learning model on the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students in the SD Negeri Kertasari 1 class. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test obtained = 2,311 and 2,000.

This study was motivated by students’ low interest in learning the tahsin reading program at the Korong Pasir Baru Mosque, Sungai Limau District, Padang Pariaman Regency. This is prabably related it has something to do with the use of learning methods used by teachers.This type of research is quantitative using a correlational approach. The population of this research were all students of recitation recitations at the Great Mosque of Korong Pasir Baru was totalled 30 people and taking a sample of 24 people. Data collection methode using a questionnaire. We used the percentage and the correlation Spearman formula as the data analysis.The results showed that the Qur'anic learning method was categorized as low, students' interest in learning was still low, and there was a considerable relationship either the Koranic learning method and students' learning interest in the recitation program at the Korong Pasir Baru Grand Mosque, Sungai Limau District, Padang Pariaman Regency. It is hoped that teachers will pay more attention to the use of learning methods because this affects students' interest in learning. the better the learning method used, the higher the learning interest of students. And vice versa learning methods that are not good will affect the learning interest in student.Keywords: Qur'anic learning method, interest in learning and Tahsin Tilawah

Individual adaptive metric learning for visual tracking

This study aims to produce social studies based social studies teaching materials on historical relic materials. This type of research is development research with the Dick &amp; Carey development model. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class were higher than the learning outcomes obtained by the control class. This was seen in the results of the pre test and post test conducted by researchers. At the time of the pre-test of 31 students in class IV-A only 13 people (41.94%) completed, while another 18 people (58.06%) did not complete with RRK 60. While in class IV-B out of 34 students only 10 people (29.41%) who finished, as many as 24 more people (70.59%) had not finished with RRK 56.03. At the time of the post-test of class IV-A as many as 28 students (90.32%) had completed only 3 more people (9.68%) who did not complete with RRK 68.71. While from class IV-B as many as 33 people (97.06%) had been completed, the remaining 1 person (2.94%) who had not completed the RRK was 73.82. (2) The validity of the product also gets a very good value, it is proven from the values obtained from the four validators, namely: material validation score 3.62 (90.63%), language validation score 3.75 (93.75%), the media validation score was 3.69 (92.19%), and the learning design validation score was 4.00 (100%).

This research was conducted as a classroom action research project with the aim of enhancing the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at MI Hidayatussibyan in Krangseng District, Indramayu Regency. The research utilized the discovery learning method, supported by the use of comic strip media. The main objective of this study was to benefit various stakeholders involved in the learning process, particularly in the Indonesian language subject. These stakeholders included teachers, students, schools, communities, and the wider education community. The research followed a classroom action research approach, consisting of two cycles that encompassed planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The study took place at MI Hidayatussibyan during the 2021/2022 academic year, with a sample of 28 fourth-grade students as the focus of the research. Data collection was carried out through observation and documentation. Therefore, this research not only contributed to the advancement of learning methods but also provided valuable insights for educational practitioners and individuals involved in the learning process at the school.

Supervised learning in spiking neural networks with synaptic delay-weight plasticity

The traditional reinforcement learning (RL) methods can solve Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) online, but these learning methods cannot effectively use a priori knowledge to guide the learning process. The exploration of the optimal policy is time-consuming and does not employ the information about specific issues. To tackle the problem, this paper proposes heuristic function negotiation (HFN) as an online learning framework. The HFN framework extends MDPs and introduces heuristic functions. HFN changes the state-action dual layer structure of traditional RL to the triple layer structure, in which multiple heuristic functions can be set to meet the needs required to solve the problem. The HFN framework can use different algorithms to let the functions negotiate to determine the appropriate action, and adjust the impact of each function according to the rewards. The HFN framework introduces domain knowledge by setting heuristic functions and thus speeds up the problem solving of MDPs. Furthermore, user preferences can be reflected in the learning process, which improves the flexibility of RL. The experiments show that, by setting reasonable heuristic functions, the learning results of the HFN framework are more efficient than traditional RL. We also apply HFN to the air combat simulation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which shows that different function settings lead to different combat behaviors.

ABSTRAK SMK Mambaul Falah merupakan sekolah menengah kejuruan yang berada di Kecamatan Dawe Kabupaten Kudus. Guru pada SMK Mambaul Falah masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran tradisional atau konvesional dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar. Metode pembelajaran tradisional yang sering digunakan yaitu ceramah dan diskusi di kelas. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, peran guru di kelas tidak lagi sebagai sumber materi utama, namun lebih sebagai pembimbing dan fasilitator. Perkembangan teknologi pula yang memungkinkan akses informasi ilmu pengetahuan dapat dilakukan seluas luasnya. Oleh karena itu harus ada peningkatan metode komunikasi dan interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Sehingga pada penelitian ini, dilakukan analisa kebutuhan untuk menghasilkan pemodelan sistem pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pemodelan UML (Unified Markup Language) dan juga melakukan perancangan arsitektur sistem pembelajaran berbasis online (e-learning). Arsitektur layanan sistem pembelajaran online (e-learning) dapat dijadikan rancangan tepat dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih baik, mengingat tingkat fleksibilitas, skalabilitas serta fungsionalitasnya yang memudahkan kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat dilakukan dimanapun dan kapanpun. Sistem pembelajaran online (e-learning) pada SMK Mambaul Falah Kudus yang telah dirancang, digunakan oleh dua aktor yaitu, siswa dan guru. Kata kunci: SMK, pembelajaran, online, UML, e-learning.

Technology is advancing and developing, and we cannot let go of our lives. One of them is in the world of education, the use of technology is often found. teachers combine technological devices in the learning process so that the learning atmosphere becomes more interesting, not only with increasingly open technological developments and the spread of information and knowledge throughout the world across the boundaries of space and time. Thus, technological developments have a positive impact on educators and students. In this study, researchers measured the extent to which the application of this technology in the learning process was highly valued. For this reason, this research aims to find out the impact of technology on Arabic language learning at the Batusangkar Institute State Islamic University. The method used in this research is a survey research method. Data collection uses observation, interviews and questionnaires. Furthermore, the expected result of this research is to find out the role or influence of technology on Arabic language learning activities in higher education. Based on the research results, it can be seen that there is an influence or influence of technology on Arabic language learning at the Batusangkar State Islamic Institute.

This research aims to be an initial study of collecting information about students' low interest in learning history by applying the Small Group Discussion learning method to learning History in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) using two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, this Classroom Action Research is a Quantitative Research. The results found in this study were that the majority of students with a lack of interest in learning history in Class X Motorcycle Engineering, many students thought that learning history was boring due to the use of learning methods that were less interesting, less interactive, and did not involve students directly in use of learning methods. That's why an innovation is needed in the form of a history learning method. The Small Group Discussion Method is recommended for history teachers as a method that can be a solution to the problems raised so that learning history is expected to be more enjoyable learning and the goals of learning history can be fulfilled.
