Providing a model for measuring educational quality in elementary schools

The purpose of this study is to develop learning media using the Canva application in elementary schools, for beginners and elementary school teachers who are used to create multimedia-based learning media as teaching materials that are used at this time, the declining quality of learning at this time especially in Elementary school level (SD), on this occasion we describe the use and utilization of the Canva application, the aim is to increase the interest and sympathy of teachers and students in learning and also to facilitate the process of understanding students' learning in schools so that it can be said that the quality of education in schools is perfect. On this basis, this Canva application has several interesting features to serve, including ready-to-use templates, icons and illustrations, text, background tips and tricks in using applications, animations, and duplication, over time and the use of technology. dependent on self i ourselves in taking advantage of it.

Education in elementary schools requires the implementation of school-based management to improve the quality and competence of teachers as educators in order to achieve satisfactory school accreditation. The purpose of this article is to discuss the application of School Based Management (SBM) in an effort to improve the quality of education in elementary schools. The author uses qualitative methods in the form of library research through observing literature from various books, articles, web browsing and system analysis. The research results show that SBM provides more autonomy to schools. Quality education includes satisfactory service for graduates and the community. In implementing SBM in elementary schools, there are several factors that need to be considered, such as considerations and implementation strategies. In conclusion, management plays an important role in improving the quality and relevance of education.

This paper documents an analysis result of various research articles that discuss aspects of educational quality, either the quality of input, process, output, and outcome. The articles that are analyzed are 20 articles from 2014-2022, which were accredited nationally and non-SINTA. It aims to determine the influence and role of the quality aspects of education that take place in an educational institution on the quality management of education in elementary schools. The type of research is a literature review using a systematic scheme that provides an overview of article publications with the number of data searches at 30 articles. After conducting the review process, 20 articles match the criteria. The research results reveal that there were 9 articles accredited SINTA 3, 2 articles SINTA 2, 3 articles SINTA 4, 2 SINTA articles 5, and 4 non-SINTA articles. Of the 20 articles analyzed, 14 articles discussed input aspects, 4 articles discussed process aspects, 1 article discussed input-process aspects, and 1 article discussed input, process, and output aspects. The analysis results indicate that the input aspects of school principals and teachers have a positive influence and a significant role in managing the quality of education in elementary schools. Nevertheless, there is still a lack of the influence and role of the process, output, and outcome aspects in managing the quality of elementary school education.

Education has different meanings as per different approaches. The quality in education is a complex and multicultural process. This study was conducted to check the Quality in higher Education. Four higher institutions were taken as sample. Out of which two were from public sector. The theoretical frame work consisted of the dependent variable which was, “Quality in Higher Education”, and the independent variables which were Management, Faculty, Infrastructure, Research Facilities and Evaluation Criteria. Overall results showed that majority (73%) respondents were in view that there is quality in education in higher education institutions. The most important factor which helps to maintain quality in higher education is the evaluation criteria in examinations (responded 23%). The lack of proper infrastructure is the main problem of education institutions (responded 35%). The above results show that quality in higher education is an essential tool to boost up the education sector of any country.

This research is motivated by low levels of learning innovation, lack of work motivation, and the suboptimal implementation of teachers' professional duties. These conditions are thought to be related to the suboptimal implementation of transformational leadership by principals. This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership of principals in efforts to improve teacher performance in elementary schools. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design involving principals and teachers. The subjects of this study were principals and elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Then, data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validation was carried out through triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that principals implemented three dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, and intellectual stimulation, which were reflected in role models, providing motivation, and encouraging innovation and individual attention. The implementation of this leadership had a positive impact on teacher discipline, creativity in the learning process, and work enthusiasm. Therefore, it was concluded that transformational leadership has an important role in improving teacher performance and the quality of education in elementary schools. The implication is that this research can be a reference for educational policy makers in developing leadership development and training programs in elementary schools.

This study aims to analyze the synergy of the education trip center in supporting the policy of the character education strengthening program (PPK) and to produce a policy recommendation to improve the quality of education in elementary schools. The government continues to strive for improvements in the education sector with the existence of KDP. The best efforts are made not only to involve school residents but the existence of other parties outside the school, namely them as parents and a community with character. In this case, establishing cooperation is the key to the effectiveness of character education, by using a linear model collaboration, schools provide facilities and appeals in one direction. Furthermore, the two-way or interactional model of cooperation, the school provides the means and appeals that allow the sender and receiver to receive feedback. Meanwhile, the cooperation of all transactional school models can reach mutual agreement from all educational environments, including schools, families and communities.

Character education is one of the important aspects in early childhood development, especially at the Elementary School (SD) level. This study aims to examine the role of teachers in integrating character education into the learning process in elementary schools. Using qualitative research methods, this study involved observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to collect data from six elementary school teachers who were experienced in teaching character education. The results showed that teachers act as role models, facilitators, and motivators in integrating character values ​​into the curriculum. Teachers use various strategies, such as project-based learning, group discussions, and positive behavioral reinforcement to instill values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, and cooperation in students. This study found that challenges faced by teachers include lack of support from the school and limited resources. Thus, recommendations are given to improve teacher training and provide adequate resources to support the integration of character education in schools. This study is expected to provide insights for stakeholders in efforts to improve character education in elementary schools.

The quality of education plays an important role in determining the level of human resources as well as enhancing national competitiveness. One of the most decisional factors in the mission of the country management agency, governing system, and every school is maintaining an appropriate standard of high school education. The study objective Identify the necessity and feasibility of the process of assessing the quality of high school education. The research used questionnaires designed on Google Forms and a combined online and face-to-face survey collected 120 subjects who are education administrators and teachers (at Xuan Giang high school, Hanoi; Chu Van An high school, Hanoi; Le Quy Don high school, Hanoi; and some schools in Thanh Hoa province, Tuyen Quang province; Thai Nguyen province; Dong Nai province, Da Nang city, and Vinh city), from February 2020 to November 2021. In addition, in-depth interviews with some educational managers participating in the ETEP program in the period of 2020-2021 were conducted on the content of assessing the quality of high school education. The research results finalized that: According to different perspectives, the summary reveals that the majority agreed with the two types of assessing approaches with the high school's teaching value. Furthermore, many educators believe that if schools seriously implement the evaluation process, continuously improve the lesson to meet the requirements, the quality of high school education will be upgraded.

Test on the quality of higher education - SABER PRO - What do the results indicate?☆

The article examines the process of decentralization as a basis for the implementation of reforms in education, which are due to the entry of Ukraine into the European educational space. It was revealed that over the years of implementation of the administrative reform in the communities, the experience of effective management of education has been gained; a new methodical service system was created; there was an understanding of the need to discuss the issue of the quality of education with parents, teachers, and the public. After all, the issues of the quality of education remain relevant even in such a difficult period that Ukraine is currently experiencing. It was found that the education quality system is impossible without a modern, comprehensive system of assessment of both the quality of education as a whole and all its components separately. The vision of the future of education and science of Ukraine, as one of the strategic goals, defines the obligation for children to acquire quality education in accordance with the principles and approaches of the National Academy of Sciences. It was determined that the problems of assessing the quality of school education are discussed by practitioners of school management, who state that there are two directions of assessing the quality of school education. One is related to the development of quantitative analysis based on statistical observation data, external evaluation of educational achievements, the second - to the shift of priorities in evaluating the quality of school education from the process to the result. Also, in school education, there is a lack of development of an effective mechanism for measuring and evaluating the quality of elements of the educational process. The factors that, according to experts, principals, teachers and parents, have the greatest influence on the quality of education have been identified: cooperation between participants in the educational process; safe environment for children; sufficient qualification of teaching staff. It is justified that it is possible to assess the quality of education using monitoring procedures, the purpose of which is to forecast and plan the development of education; determination of the effectiveness of the use of community funds and resources; comparison of educational institutions of the same community. It was concluded that monitoring should be based on the principles of systematicity, expediency, transparency of monitoring procedures, responsible attitude to their activities of the subjects participating in the preparation and monitoring. Evaluation of monitoring results will reveal the effectiveness of the educational process, weaknesses and problems.

The article highlights the experience of internal quality assurance of educational activities and the quality of higher education of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education of Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna. The current system of internal quality assurance of educational activity and quality of higher education at the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education of Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna is analyzed. It is established that the internal quality assurance of educational activities and the quality of higher education at the faculty has a systemic nature and is carried out in certain areas that are logically and consistently interconnected, namely: periodic review and updating of educational programs (updating educational programs; preparation of new and improvement of current curricula, monitoring the quality of working programs of academic disciplines, development of syllabuses, informing students about the disciplines of free choice, analysis of the availability of educational and methodological and information support); assessment of applicants for higher education (assessment of students, periodic surveys of participants in the educational process); promoting the principles of academic integrity; monitoring the quality of teaching staff (analysis of the timeliness of internships and in-service training by teachers, monitoring the quality of training sessions by teachers, analysis of compliance with the licensing conditions of staffing); ensuring the availability of necessary resources; ensuring publicity of information. Ensuring the quality of educational activities and the quality of higher education at the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education is ensured by a holistic systematic interaction of all participants in the educational process, faculty and university in the implementation of appropriate internal measures and procedures aimed at improving the quality of education.

While English has been the primary foreign language to learn in junior high schools and high schools in Japan, it was introduced to elementary schools as an ”optional activity” in 2002. According to the Japanese Ministry of Education, ”MEXT,” about 97.1 percent of elementary schools throughout Japan engaged in some kind of ”English activity” with an average of 15.9 hours per year (for 6th graders) in 2007. Although these figures may indicate an increase in interest in teaching English at elementary school level, additional data suggest serious concerns among elementary school teachers. One of the main sources of the concerns is the fact that most English activities are taught by homeroom teachers who do not hold any formal teaching credentials in English. However, the MEXT has announced that English will become a ”mandatory activity,” not an academic subject. in elementary schools in 2011, which may trigger more problematic situations. This paper addresses the issues related to the implementation of elementary school English in Japan from the following perspectives: (1) Role and relevance of English in an Asian context, (2) Importance of coherent education from elementary to tertiary level, (3) Brief history and current status of elementary school English in Japan, (4) Professional competencies for elementary school English: pedagogical competency and English ability. Although English is recognized as the most widely used language of international communication, there has been no consensus of opinion about the purpose and goal of English education at elementary school level yet in Japan. In principle, teacher training and induction will not be offered to elementary homeroom teachers. In addition, the requirements for teachers of elementary school English have not yet been clarified by the MEXT. Main findings of the survey with 600 elementary school teachers, conducted in 2006 and 2007, and suggestions for designing of elementary school curriculum, teaching materials, and teacher education will also be discussed for further research.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium in science subjects at elementary schools through a literature review method. The data used are secondary data obtained from various journals, scientific articles, and conference proceedings. The analysis of six scientific works indicates that the use of Canva has a positive impact on increasing students' learning motivation, academic performance, and creativity. Canva's features, which allow the creation of interactive learning media such as videos and visualizations of abstract concepts, facilitate educators in delivering material. Additionally, Canva helps enhance students' science literacy by presenting engaging content aligned with 21st-century technological advancements. The platform is also considered practical and user-friendly for teachers, requiring no special design skills. However, some limitations were identified in its application, such as the frequent combination of Canva with other learning media and suboptimal implementation in online learning. In conclusion, Canva is an innovative, effective, and relevant learning tool to improve the quality of science education in elementary schools.

This study aims to analyze the implications of budget politics on the quality of education in schools. The main problem in this study is how education budget policies are influenced by political dynamics, and to what extent this impacts the quality of education services in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method and in-depth interviews with a number of school principals and education policy makers. The results of the study show that the budgeting process is often influenced by certain political interests which cause budget allocations not always based on the real needs of schools. This has an impact on the lack of educational facilities, limited teacher training, and the low effectiveness of quality improvement programs. The conclusion of this study shows that transparency and accountability in the budget politics process are very important to ensure the quality of sustainable education in schools. A strong political commitment is needed to place education as a national development priority.


 Character education is very important for elementary students. Character education in elementary schools will teach the habits of thinking and behavior that help students to live and work together in the family, community, and nation. Some of the problems that arise in the world of education include the lack of exemplary character of teachers to students, low understanding of teachers about character education, and lack of training for teachers to understand the importance of character education. It encourages proposers to incorporate ideas and ideas that solve the problem in training activities. So the proposer takes title of Teacher Empowerment elementary school in Strengthening Character Education in District Tulangan Sidoarjo. The ang approach method is used in devotion to this community with training activities. To know the success of the training activities, the proposal proponent will carry out the mentoring after the training activity has ended. The result of this dedication to the community can be concluded that the training is quite successful where the trainees are very enthusiastic in the training activities, it is also because each teacher has not received socialization from the government related to the government policy by providing Character Education reinforcement in School. From the results of the mentoring shows each teacher has developed an understanding and knowledge related to character education in schools. It is apparent from the results of anget teachers who have implemented character education in various activities at school.
