Research on Higher Education Evaluation System Based on Genetic Optimization Algorithm

With the rapid development of science and technology, new technology is starting to be used in various fields including education. Education has a very important progress in a nation, because it can optimize individual potential. The educational process in higher education has a big influence on a student's future. However, there are many students who experience difficulties in choosing a college major after graduating from vocational high school (SMK) or senior high school (SMA), because of the complexity in identifying the suitability between interests and study programs. Decision making is a problem that everyone faces, especially in choosing an appropriate college major. There are many factors to consider, and with many options available, the decision-making process can be difficult. To overcome this problem, this research aims to create a decision support system (DSS) using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and TOPSIS (Technique For Order By Similarity To Ideal Solution) methods. The AHP method is used to solve complex problems by structuring a hierarchy of criteria and developing weights or priorities. However, when the AHP method is used with many criteria and alternatives, other methods are needed for more effective results. Therefore, a combined method of AHP and TOPSIS was chosen, where AHP focuses on pairwise comparison matrices and consistency analysis, while TOPSIS can measure relative performance and alternative decision making simply and efficiently. The results of research on decision support systems for selecting majors using the AHP and TOPSIS methods show that the application of the combined AHP-TOPSIS method can be used to determine the best alternative in selecting majors by comparing alternatives based on predetermined criteria. In addition, system testing results show that the system functions as expected and meets user needs. With a decision support system for selecting college majors implemented on the website, it can simplify the decision-making process for students and BK teachers in choosing college majors. The results of the calculation of the percentage of system feasibility in blackbox testing show a value of 95.71%, which indicates that this major selection decision support system website can be used.

Groundwater resources are essential for drinking water, irrigation, and the economy mainly in semiarid environments where rainfall is limited. Currently, unpredictable rainfall due to climate change and pollution on the Earth’s surface directly affects groundwater resources. In this area, most people depend on groundwater resources for irrigation and drinking purposes, and every summer, most of the area depends on groundwater in a semiarid environment. Hence, we selected two popular methods, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and multiple influence factor (MIF) methods, which can be applied to map groundwater potential zones. Nine thematic layers, such as land use and land cover (LULC), geomorphology, soil, drainage density, slope, lineament density, elevation, groundwater level, and geology maps, were selected for this study using remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) techniques. These layers are integrated in ArcGIS 10.5 software with the help of the AHP and MIF methods. The map of the groundwater potential zones in the study area revealed four classes, i.e., poor, moderate, good, and very good, based on the AHP and MF methods. The groundwater potential zone area is 241.50 (ha) Poor, 285.64 (ha) moderate, 408.31 (ha) good, and 92.75 (ha) very good using the AHP method. Similarly, the MIF method revealed that the groundwater potential classes were divided into four classes: 351.29 (ha) poor, 511.18 (ha), moderate, 123.95 (ha) good, and 41.78 (ha) very good. The results were compared to determine which methods are best for planning water and land resource development in specific areas that have basaltic rock and drought conditions. Both groundwater potential zone maps were validated with water yield data. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and area under the curve (AUC) model results are found to be 0.80 (good) and 0.93 (excellent) using the MIF and AHP methods, respectively; hence, the AHP method is best for delineation of groundwater potential zone maps and groundwater resource planning. The present study’s framework and the results will be valuable for improving the efficiency of irrigation, conserving rainwater and maintaining the ecosystem in India.

Samosir regency is a from North Sumatera province which dominantly people is live on agriculture. The most of the farmers using autodidact learning to determining the types of plants that will be process the appropriate with their land, where farmers just learn from their experiences and exchange opinion with another farmers. Based of the problem, the system will be built by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Genetic Algorithm. The result of the testing from method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) obtained result with consistency ratio values < 0,1, which is -0,5936 while the result of the testing from Genetic Algorithm obtained value of the fitness is 157,25. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) obtained the result more consistent with the value of consistency ratio should be < 0,1, so it will be easier to making decision, while on the analysis of Genetic Algorithm, obtained result are probabilistic as always having random process, so that decision making can not be consistent. So, Decision Support System to determination of plants based by contents of soil which are good and suitable is method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).

Recognizing the vulnerable areas for contamination is a feasible way to protect groundwater resources. The main contribution of the paper is developing a hybrid statistical decision-making model for evaluating the vulnerability of Shiraz aquifer, southern Iran, with modified DRASTIC (depth to the water table, net recharge, aquifer media, soil media, topography, impact of the vadose zone, and hydraulic conductivity) by using the genetic algorithm (GA), the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method, and factorial analysis (FA). First, considering the variation of the uncertain parameters, 32 scenarios were defined to perform factorial analysis. Then using the AHP method and GA, DRASTIC parameters were rated and weighted in all scenarios. To achieve the optimal weights for parameters, the objective function in GA was maximizing the correlation coefficient between the vulnerability index and the nitrate concentration. The single and interactive effects of parameters on groundwater vulnerability were analyzed by factorial analysis. The results revealed that the net recharge had the highest single effect, and the resulted effect between net recharge and hydraulic conductivity was the most significant interactive effect on the objective function. Besides, the variation of aquifer media does not change the objective function. The application of the proposed method leads to a precise groundwater vulnerability map. This research provides valuable knowledge for assessing groundwater vulnerability and enables decision-makers to apply groundwater vulnerability information in future water resources management plans.

In this study, it is aimed to examine the studies based on the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method in the field of education and to present the researcher's perspective on how to use the AHP method in the field of education. Within the scope of this aim, firstly the AHP method was introduced with a sample application and then the results were interpreted. The other aim of the research; studies which based on the AHP methods in the field of education in the last five years have been examined through content analysis. AHP; is one of the “Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDC)” methods that can determine the priority or weights among the criteria and alternatives based on comparative judgments. The content analysis conducted within the scope of the research was carried out in the context of eight criteria determined by the researchers. According to the results of the analysis; the AHP method has shown an increasing tendency compared to the years, and usually is used for determining and prioritizing teaching priorities. Especially in Asia Pacific countries, the AHP method is used much more intensive. Another result is that the AHP method is used to make group decisions rather than individual decisions. It has been seen that the research has been done especially with undergraduate students. In addition to these, there are lots of studies with academicians and experts.

In response to the problems of traditional genetic algorithms in evaluating English compositions, the stability of automatic grading of English compositions has been further enhanced. This article evaluates the teaching effectiveness of automatic grading of English compositions using an optimization fusion algorithm combined with genetic optimization algorithm and CNN model. By analyzing genetic content and optimization algorithms, a corresponding fusion optimization model was obtained, and the automatic evaluation of English compositions was analyzed and predicted through experimental verification. The results indicate that the curves corresponding to different parameters exhibit typical segmentation features through the variation curves of individual numbers under different scale factors. And through quantitative description and analysis of the curve, it can be seen that the change in proportion factor has an absolute advantage in the impact of genetic algorithm on the number of children. As the number of samples increases, the performance of genetic optimization algorithms under the f function shows an upward trend. Research has shown that the writing content index has the greatest impact on English writing, while the corresponding grammar errors have the smallest impact on English writing. Finally, the accuracy of the optimized model was verified by comparing the model curve with experimental data. This study provides theoretical support for the use of genetic optimization algorithms and CNN models in English, and provides ideas for the use of optimization algorithms in other fields.

BackgroundMedical endoscope is widely used in clinical practice for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment, occupying around 5% of the medical device market. Evaluating the true service level of medical endoscope is essential and necessary to improve overall performance of medical diagnosis and treatment, and to maintain competitiveness of endoscope manufacturers, however, such a tool is not available in the market. This study develops an Evaluation Index System (EIS) to assess service level of medical endoscope, and to provide suggestions for improving the service level through the Delphi method.MethodsFirstly, the possible factors influencing the service level were identified from literature review. In parallel, the Delphi expert method questionnaire was designed and 25 experts were invited to conduct three rounds of questionnaire, to evaluate and rate the possible factors. Finally, we determined the weights associated with the factors, using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and percentage method, and developed the service level EIS.ResultsThe EIS consists of 3 first-level indicators, 24 s-level indicators and 68 third-level indicators. According to the weights computed using AHP, first-level indicators are ranked as post-sale (0.62), in-sale (0.25) and pre-sale (0.13). Through case verification, the medical endoscope brand Olympus had a total score of 4.17, Shanghai Aohua had a total score of 3.71, and Shanghai Chengyun had a total score of 3.28, which matches its market popularity and ranking in terms of market share. The results obtained from the EIS are consistent with the reality.ConclusionsThe EIS established in this study is comprehensive, reliable and reasonable with strong practicality. The EIS can act as a tool for the endoscope users to evaluate potential products and make informed choices. It also provides a measurable basis for endoscope manufacturers and service providers to improve service quality.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is essential for the success and adoption of digital entrepreneurship in universities. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the integration of electronic objects, peripherals, cities, and other items and equipment with embedded software, electronics, actuators, network connections, and sensors that allow these things and equipment to share and gather data. The usage of IoT for university bi-entrepreneurship can equalize the playing field in many areas of the economy, creating options like as remote work at any time and from anywhere. Nowadays, universities are playing an essential part in the careers of students. In this regard, government departments provide considerable assistance in recruiting individuals and companies in a variety of ways, including funding and tax policies. However, many factors affect university students’ innovation and entrepreneurship education. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a quality evaluation system of innovation and entrepreneurship education, which can guide university students’ targeted innovation and entrepreneurship by improving the comprehensive ability and employability of these students. Therefore, this paper constructs an evaluation index system of university students’ innovation and entrepreneurship education quality, including several dimensions and several sub-indicators. On this basis, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) algorithm is used to construct the judgment matrix, and the ranking weight of each comparison element is calculated according to the judgment matrix. The suggested system first constructs a hierarchical model to conceptualize the relationship between different elements and then builds a judgment matrix. After establishing the judgment matrix, the calculation methods of the characteristic root, square root, and idempotent relative weight are systematically checked. The experimental results reveal that the proposed evaluation system has a stronger impact on promoting university students’ creativity, entrepreneurship, and employment.

Strategies to buy a house, consumers often experience problems in determining the house to be purchased, because each house has different characteristics. These characteristics will be used as reference considerations in determining which house to buy. In this study, the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method was used to weight the criteria and test the level of consistency with the pairwise comparison matrix. If the matrix has been consistent, then it can be continued to rank to determine the chosen alternative by using input weighting criteria obtained from the AHP method. To overcome the above problems, it is necessary to build a decision support system by implementing a ranking that can make it easier to determine House Selection using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. Of the 9 sample houses in the Cepu area, the highest was the Housing of Zam Zam Cepu Type 38/78 with a total value of 2,84564719.
