Surface-Smoothness Evaluation and Specifications for Flexible Pavements

This Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) will document compliance with the requirements of specification WHC-S-056 Rev.2 including ECNs 608798 and 616386. The equipment being tested is a furniture type trailer with storage cabinets, lighting and HVAC systems installed. The unit was purchased as a Design and Fabrication procurement activity. The ATP be performed by representatives of the Westinghouse Hanford Company with the assistance of the Seller at the Seller`s location.

This system design package for the Central Data Processing System consists of the Software Performance Specification, Hardware Performance Specification, Software Verification Plan, CDPS Development Program, Qualification and Acceptance Test Procedures, Qualification Test and Analysis Report, and Qualification and Acceptance Test Review. The Central Data Processing System, located at IBM's Federal System Division facility in Huntsville, Alabama, provides the resources required to assess the performance of solar heating and cooling systems installed at remote sites. These sites consist of residential, commercial, government, and educational types of buildings, and the solar heating and cooling systems can be hot-water, space heating, cooling, and combinations of these. The instrumentation data associated with these systems will vary according to the application and must be collected, processed, and presented in a form which supports continuity of performance evaluation across all applications.

This procedure provides acceptance testing for Enraf Series 854 level gauges used to monitor levels in Hanford Waste Storage Tanks. The test will verify that the gauge functions according to the manufacturer's instructions and specifications and is properly setup prior to being delivered to the tank farm area. This ATP does not set up the gauge for any specific tank, but is generalized to permit testing the gauge prior to installation package preparation.

The objective of this document is to report and interpret the findings of the isolation barrier acceptance tests performed in 105KE/100K. The tests were performed in accordance with the test plan (McCracken 1995c) and acceptance test procedure (McCracken 1995a). The test report (McCracken 1995b) contains the test data. This document compares the test data (McCracken 1995b) against the criteria (McCracken 1995a, c). A discussion of the leak rate analytical characterization (Irwin 1995) describes how the flow characteristics and the flow rate will be determined using the test data from the test report (McCracken 1995b). The barriers must adequately control the leakage from the main basin to the discharge chute to less than the 1,500 gph (5,680 lph) Safety Analysis Report (SAR 1994) limit.

The SY-101 Equipment Removal System 100 Ton Hydraulic Trailer was designed and built by KAMP Systems, Inc. Performance of the Acceptance Test Procedure at KAMP`s facility in Ontario, California (termed Phase 1 in this report) was interrupted by discrepancies noted with the main hydraulic cylinder. The main cylinder was removed and sent to REMCO for repair while the trailer was sent to Lampson`s facility in Pasco, Washington. The Acceptance Test Procedure was modified and performance resumed at Lampson (termed Phase 2 in this report) after receipt of the repaired cylinder. At the successful conclusion of Phase 2 testing the trailer was accepted as meeting all the performance criteria specified.

This Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) has been prepared to demonstrate that the Electrical/Instrumentation system function as required for this facility. Each company or organization participating in this ATP will designate personnel to assume the responsibilities and duties as defined herein for their respective roles.

This Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) provides for the inspection and testing of the new Pumping Instrumentation and Control. (PIC) skid designed as ''V''. The ATP will be performed after the construction of the PIC skid in the fabrication shop.

This Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) has been prepared to demonstrate that the Fire Protection system functions as required by project criteria. This ATP will test the Pyrotronic CP-400 fire alarm control panel (FACP), and interfaces with the radio fire alarm reporting box, alarm/supervisory initiating devices, and alarm indicating appliances. This document is to certify the installation and testing of the fire alarm control panel and all attached devices to insure the Hanford Fire Dept. receives the proper signals. This fire alarm control panel is located in Bldg. 242T in the 200 W Area of Hanford.

This paper discusses the design and testing of the lasers built for the Clementine Laser Rangefinder that was used to map the lunar topology. a baseline Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) was run once and the flight laser was built. Then the Laser Resonator Assembly (LRA) and the Laser Power Supply (LPS) were subjected to vibration and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing as well as a 50 hour Thermal Vacuum test (T- VAC). Laser energy and boresight stability was checked after each vibration axis and after EMC testing. A complete ATP was run again after all environmental tests were completed, results were compared to baseline.

In an endeavor to assist the Banda Aceh City Government in effective waste management, a group of lecturers and students from Syiah Kuala University (USK) has introduced an innovative waste management solution in the form of a digital-based waste collection and disposal application named e-tikbroh.yak. This application is designed to pick up pre-sorted waste from users, including individuals and communities, and then distribute the segregated waste to collectors and partners who have ordered or purchased it for various productive purposes. The distribution of this application to the community is considered essential as it streamlines the waste management process by promoting waste sorting and implementing the 3 R (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle) waste management concept, thereby fostering a conscious approach to waste management. Furthermore, e-tikbroh.yak creates new employment opportunities within the community, both as application couriers and by generating additional income through the collection of sorted waste. To expand its reach and accessibility, the e-tikbroh.yak application will soon be made available on the Play Store and web browsers for non-Android smartphone users in Banda Aceh City. Following its public introduction, a User’s Acceptance Test (UAT) was conducted to ensure the effective and optimal functioning of the application system. This paper aims to elucidate two key aspects: 1) introducing e-tikbroh.yak to the community and partners, and 2) assessing the application's performance through the User Acceptance Test (UAT) procedure. The outcome of the UAT demonstrated that the people of Banda Aceh City found the application's operation to be smooth and user-friendly.

The purpose of this test procedure is to verify that the system(s) procured to load the SY-101 Mitigation Test Pump package fulfills its functional requirements. It will also help determine the man dose expected due to handling of the package during the actual event. The scope of this procedure focuses on the ability of the air pallets and container saddles to carry the container package from the new 100 foot concrete pad into 2403-WD where it will be stored awaiting final disposition. This test attempts to simulate the actual event of depositing the SY-101 hydrogen mitigation test pump into the 2403-WD building. However, at the time of testing road modifications required to drive the 100 ton trailer into CWC were not performed. Therefore a flatbed trailer will be use to transport the container to CWC. The time required to off load the container from the 100 ton trailer will be recorded for man dose evaluation on location. The cranes used for this test will also be different than the actual event. This is not considered to be an issue due to minimal effects on man dose.

A comparative analysis of the dynamic behavior of a boiling water reactor in a full-scope power plant simulator for operator training is presented. Three- and four-equation reactor core models were used to examine three transients following tests described in acceptance test procedures: scram, loss of feedwater flow, and closure of main isolation valves. The three-equation model consists of water and steam mixture momentum, including mass and energy balances. The four-equation model is based on liquid and gas phase mass balances, together with a drift-flux approach for the analysis of phase separation. Analysis of the models showed that the scram transient was slightly different for three- and four-equation models. The drift-flux effects can explain such differences. Regarding the loss-of-feedwater transient, the predicted steam flow after scram is larger for the three-equation model. Finally, for the transient related to the closure of main steam isolation valves, the three-equation model provides slightly different results for the pressure change, which affects reactor level behavior.

This document describes the method used to test design criteria for encasement leak detector system installed in 241-AN-A Encasement Line SN-268, located at 200E Tank Farms. This procedure provides instructions for demonstrating that the pit leak detection relay cabinet and intrinsically safe probe circuit is fully operable.

It is difficult to obtain precise and accurate estimates of the true mycotoxin concentration of a bulk lot when using a mycotoxin-sampling plan that measures the concentration in a small portion of the bulk lot. A mycotoxin-sampling plan is defined by a mycotoxin test procedure and a defined accept/reject limit. A mycotoxin test procedure is a complicated process and generally consists of several steps: (a) a sample is taken from the lot, (b) the sample is ground (comminuted) in a mill to reduce particle size, (c) a subsample is removed from the comminuted sample, and (d) the mycotoxin is extracted from the comminuted subsample and quantified. Even when using accepted test procedures, there is variability associated with each step of the mycotoxin test procedure. Because of this variability, the true mycotoxin concentration in the lot cannot be determined with 100% certainty by measuring the mycotoxin concentration in a sample taken from the lot. The variability for each step of the mycotoxin test procedure, as measured by the variance statistic, is shown to increase with mycotoxin concentration. Sampling is usually the largest source of variability associated with the mycotoxin test procedure. Sampling variability is large because a small percentage of kernels are contaminated and the level of contamination on a single seed can be very large. Methods to reduce sampling, sample preparation, and analytical variability are discussed.

To assure the quality of accelerated aging tests for solar concentrators, their standardization is crucial. It guarantees the employment of adequate testing, measurement and characterization procedures and the comparability between results. A committee of the Spanish AENOR standardization agency is working on the draft “Reflector Panels for Concentrating Solar Technologies”. This work focuses on the evaluation of the procedures defined in this standard. The reflector material from the Japanese company Nishio Glass Mirror Co., which showed severe degradation after 7 years of outdoor exposure in Abu Dhabi, is tested according to the AENOR standard to check if its poor outdoor performance could have been predicted by accelerated aging testing. However, after completion of the accelerated tests, in some cases even for considerably longer test durations than the minimum required by AENOR, no considerable degradation was detected. The results suggest that the proposed testing program by AENOR is not aggressive enough to identify material failure. Ways to improve the current standard are proposed through development of more realistic tests.
