Machine Learning-Based Error Compensation Methods for UAV Positioning Systems
Application of machine learning in the process of commander decision support in the military fuel distribution system
Providing energy to troops requires maintaining optimal fuel levels across all management stages, especially within Garrison Support Units and Regional Logistic Bases. The article examines the fuel distribution system supported by a program that predicts commanders’ actions using input data from subordinate units. To aid decision-making, Garrison Support Units implemented neural network variants to model logistical activities, training, peacetime operations, or combat, and segment fuel supply accordingly. The Neural Network Toolbox from MATLAB (MathWorks) was used for computations. The study presents the Garrison Support Units operational assumptions, the role of commanders as agents, and factors affecting fuel distribution. It also outlines the development of the Logistic Decision Support System dashboard, which enables entering decision variables, neural network coefficients, and weights to forecast fuel consumption and plan future operations based on environmental and operational data. The article includes MATLAB simulation results, analysing neural network algorithms and neuron counts per layer to determine the most effective configuration for decision-making optimisation. Results show that the Bayesian regularisation algorithm achieved the lowest mean square error across all data sets and the highest prediction accuracy measured by the root mean squared error. The regression coefficient confirmed a strong correlation between predicted and actual outcomes, demonstrating the Bayesian regularisation algorithm’s effectiveness in supporting logistical fuel management decisions.

Relevance . Troop interaction is one of the key components of the preparation of operations of various scales. Knowledge of the structure, content, and order of interaction in the preparation of the Warsaw-Ivangorod operation will allow us to study the experience of organizing interaction and the possibilities of using this knowledge in modern conditions. The purpose of this article is to summarize the experience of interaction between the troops of the Southwestern Front in the preparation of the Warsaw-Ivangorod operation. The objectives of this article are to: reveal the timing, content, and methods of troop interaction at various stages of the operation's preparation, identify problematic issues in coordinating actions at each stage, and determine the necessary measures for final preparation for combat operations. The article also aims to establish the role, significance, and problematic aspects of organizing interaction during the preparation of an operation. Methodology . The use of the main methods of modern research, such as historical-system and historicaltypological, allowed for the analysis of a large number of historical documents from the South-Western Front, as well as from the armies, corps, and other units of the military branches that were part of it. Results . The study reveals the sequence and content of the activities of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the field headquarters of the South-Western Front, and partially of the North-Western Front, in ensuring the interaction of the troops during the preparation of the Warsaw-Ivangorod operation. Conclusions . Based on the combat documents of the field headquarters of the South-Western Front and the armies that were part of it, the essence and structure of the organization of troop interaction during the preparation of the Warsaw-Ivangorod operation are formulated. Conclusions are drawn about the content of troop interaction, the forms, methods, and techniques used to coordinate the efforts of different branches of the military during the preparation of the Warsaw-Ivangorod operation.

Transactional spinal cord injury repair using water-memory hyperelastic sponge scaffold with inflammatory regulated microenvironment
Despite over 20 × 106 patients worldwide suffering from spinal cord injury (SCI), there have been no significant breakthroughs in treatment to date. Although stem cell transplantation has demonstrated initial success, its therapeutic application is restricted by low survival rates, inadequate rates of neuronal differentiation, and a lack of spatial specificity. In this study, we aimed to address the aforementioned challenges in neural stem cell (NSC) transplantation by integrating porous silk fibroin (SF) scaffolds, exosomes, and NSCs to investigate their roles and efficacy in SCI repair. Initially, we screened for the optimal SF concentration to achieve mechanical biomimicry. Subsequently, we combined SF with exosomes and characterized their structural, compositional, elemental, hydrophilic, and shape memory properties, which demonstrated that the addition of exosomes did not significantly influence these characteristics. Furthermore, in vitro live/dead staining and gene expression analyses confirmed that the scaffold exhibits excellent biocompatibility and promotes neuronal differentiation. Finally, in vivo studies on SCI repair demonstrated that this strategy significantly enhances the recovery of motor and sensory functions as well as promotes axonal regeneration and reduces glial scar formation—ideal outcomes for neural repair. In addition, immune-inflammatory assays revealed that this strategy facilitates the transformation of microglia into an anti-inflammatory phenotype, thereby mitigating local inflammation.
Read moreVague-Topsis Method and Its Application in Jamming Effectiveness Evaluation
This paper presents a new approach for evaluating jamming effectiveness using a combination of Vague sets and the TOPSIS method. It begins by introducing the key concepts and features of both techniques. Based on the evaluation context, an index system is then developed to assess the effectiveness of pulse signal interference. To demonstrate how the method works in practice, a real-world example is provided. This not only illustrates its application but also confirms that the method is both effective and practical.
Read moreTheoretical analysis of internal solitary wave and its flow field in background flow
Abstract The influence of background flow on the vertical structure of concave internal solitary waves (ISW) in the continuous density stratification environment is studied by theoretical analysis method. The vertical inhomogeneous structures of ISWs in three cases of no background flow, linear gradient flow and linear shear flow are described by using the theoretical model suitable for describing completely nonlinear ISW under the condition of continuous stratification. The influence of background flow on the inhomogeneous vertical structure of ISW and its flow field is examined. The results show that the non-uniform vertical structure of internal solitary waves without background is controlled by the density disturbance which is characterized by the non-uniform distribution of density isopycnals, wave amplitudes and shear distribution of horizontal velocity vector along the vertical direction. The study reveals the influence of linear gradient flow and linear shear flow on the characteristic waveform, density field and velocity field of ISW. The research results are helpful to improve the understanding of the propagation and evolution characteristics of ISW within background shear flow in real ocean.

One of the main factors for the mental and the physical development of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) is movement activity and sports. They have a positive impact as a result of the systematic application of specialized physical exercises. The effectiveness of the Methodology for adapted physical activity for children and young people with SEN has been proven. The purpose of the study is to prove the effectiveness of the methodology for adapted physical activity in children and young people with special educational needs (SEN). The methodology includes a complex of mental and physical exercises applied in the training of children and young people with SEN. The exercises are related to the development of concentration and switching of attention, psychomotor skills, emotional stability, emotional state and creativity. The effectiveness of the methodology has been verified through measurements carried out during ten-day summer sports camps in Greece Korelko 2019; Bulgaria, Kamchia Sports Rehabilitation Complex 2020 and Nessebar 2021 at the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy camp. After mathematical and statistical processing, the obtained results show that the applied Methodology is effective. Mental development indicators have significantly and reliably improved and achievements in international competitions have been achieved by children and young people from the Federation for Adapted Physical Activity Bulgaria (FAPA). Twenty-one children and young people with SEN participated in the scientific study. Relevance. The experience of wars and armed conflicts of XX-XXI centuries. showed that during the conduct of hostilities before the command of the most acute issue is not only planning and carrying out operations, but also maintaining the moral and psychological state of the military staff, explaining to soldiers the objectives of combat operations, maintaining discipline and law and order. In this regard, the retrospective analysis of the activities carried out by the political management bodies of the Red Army in the period from May to October 1939 allows us to draw new lessons and conclusions necessary for the organisation of military-political work in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at their current stage of development. The purpose is to identify the peculiarities of changes in the party-political work in the units of the 1st Army Group during the armed conflict on the Khalkhin-Gol River. Objectives: to analyze the main directions of work of the apparatus of the chief of the RKKA GUPP in 1939, the peculiarities of agitation and propaganda work, rallying of military collectives, control over the moods of servicemen, suppression of crimes against military service.Methodology. The research is based on the principles of objectivity and historicism. The scientific toolkit of the work consists of the following methods of historical research: problem-chronological, historical-comparative, historical-genetic and historical-systemic.Results. Despite the fact that in 1939 the military-political organs of the Red Army were in a difficult situation due to the expansion of their powers and the lack of trained personnel, during the period of combat operations on the Khalkhin-Gol River the party-political work in the troops was able to quickly restructure itself in accordance with the conditions of combat operations, goals and tasks facing the Soviet armed forces. An important feature of it was the refusal to apply disciplinary and criminal liability for offences against military service.Conclusions. The activity of the KA GUPPP during the period of military operations on the river Khalkhin-Gol underwent a number of serious changes. If at the beginning of the conflict the political bodies acted in a rather formulaic way, then already by July 1939, a number of serious changes emergedthere was a need for reorientation of work among servicemen.
