Teacher education and teacher support associations for informatics and computing in schools
The Informatics for All (I4All) coalition is exploring how informatics and computing in schools can be further developed and is currently focusing on how teachers are being supported in terms of teaching informatics and computing. Part of the exploratory work is a gathering of initial details about national and regional structures that provide such support. This document has been created from responses to a consultation, circulated to I4All Steering Commitee members and the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Commitee 3 on Education (TC3) members and to IFIP TC Chairs (as IFIP is a member of the I4All coalition).

The purpose of this study was to analyse perinatal care managers' perspectives on the role of doulas in Poland and to consider how managers' perspectives might affect the opportunities for doulas to practice in individual hospitals. This is a qualitative descriptive study. The total of 17 hospitals was selected for the study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 manager staff members. Three groups of facilities were identified: '0' (n = 6) - refused to give interviews, 'A' (n = 8) - marginal experience in working with doulas, and 'B' (n = 3) - regular experience in working with doulas. The hospitals from Group A showed indifference towards working with doulas. Group B declared a positive attitude towards such cooperation. Attitudes towards doulas vary among executives and are related to the frequency of doula-assisted births. Our results indicate factors that may influence the attitude of medical staff towards doulas and which may contribute to improve future initiatives meant to facilitate collaboration between midwives and doulas. This study explored the lived experiences of perinatal care managers.

Rzeczy i opowieści. Muzeum Warszawy wobec modelu muzeum narracyjnego

W artykule przedstawiono proces implementacji jednego z najpopularniejszych systemów monitorowania współczesnych sieci komputerowych Nagios Core w wersji 4.4.5.
Read moreDetection of a Source Code Plagiarism in a Student Programming Competition
The article presents a system for testing the independence of solutions to algorithmic problems sent by students as part of the student programming competition. First, the context was discussed, as well as the need to organize programming competitions resulting from this context. Then, an algorithm was proposed to study the mutual similarity of source codes of programs sent as part of a programming competition. Since, after implementation, the algorithm was used in practice, examples of its application for detecting the plagiarism of source codes of solutions in two programming competitions conducted as part of classes on Algorithms and Numerical Methods were also presented. Finally, the effectiveness of the solutions used in the work was discussed.

Behavioral modeling of stressed MOSFET
In this paper piezoconductivity phenomenon in MOSFET channel is discussed and extension of drain current model with possibility of stress consideration is proposed. Analysis of obtained model combined with examination of stress components inherent in the MOSFET channel as well as distributions of specific piezoconductance coefficients on a plane of channel can show which directions of transistor channel are desirable for improvement of MOSFET performances. This model gives possibility to predict optimal transistor channel orientation, for the given stress state in MOSFET channel. Possible simplification of this model is considered. In particular, stress state and significant piezoconductance coefficient distributions on planes {100}, {110} as well as {111} are analyzed. For assumed particular cases of stress state in the channel, final models of MOSFT for considered specific planes are given.
