Construction of B2B Electronic Commerce System Based on Apache Struts Framework

Over a past decade, transparent conducting oxide (TCO) thin films have gained much attentions for application in electronic devices including sensors, solar cells, thin-film transistors and flat panel display due to their excellent properties such as high mobility, low resistivity, high transmittance in visible region, high transparency in infrared region. Hitherto, the indium tin oxide (ITO) is one of the most commonly used TCO materials in electronic devices owing to its low resistivity (≤ 10−3 Ω cm), low processing temperature (~250oC) and high optical transparency (> 80%) in visible region. However, the ITO material has some drawbacks owing to scarcity, toxicity, and high production cost of indium, and it is necessary to develop the indium-free materials for replacing ITO. Among various indium-free materials, ZnO-based thin films have been extensively known as one of the most potential materials for replacing ITO in electronic devices because of their abundance, non-toxicity, high conductivity, high transparency in visible region and low cost. On the other hand, CuO-based thin films have been also known as a typical p-type semiconductor, possessing a narrow band gap energy near 2.1 eV, having monoclinic structure and being grouped in abundant non-toxic materials. In general, the CuO thin films are considered for promising applications in catalyst, semiconductor devices and energy stored batteries. Owing to their narrow band gap, the CuO thin films are possibly applied to expand the light harvest from ultraviolet to visible regions, which indicates superior photo-catalytic efficiency. Also, the CuO thin films enable to design as a hole-transport visible-light absorber layer in solar cells. From this point of view, the light absorption ability of CuO thin film plays a key role in photo-catalytic experiment or solar cell production. It means that this kind of materials would be promising for the new options of p-type materials in various applications in electronic industry.In this chapter, therefore, we discuss on the conventional oxide-semiconductor materials and devices, compare with the recent developments on the new generation of both n-type and p-type semiconductor thin films, then orient for the selection of friendly environmental materials. Eventually, we discuss on the recent achievement of device applications such as thin-film transistors and all solution-processed inorganic solar cells.

A fixed telephone cluster management system was investigated in this paper. To meet the development demands of fixed telephone service and management, we designed a fixed telephone cluster management system based on browser/server structure which is developed by the MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern. This system attains independent inquiry and management for personal fixed-phone information and it has advantages over scalability, portability and maintainability. As a result, this system can applied in fixed telephone management for the corporation, the school, and so on.

Research the MVC pattern, Struts framework and Struts framework application in web development mainly. Design and realize On-line bookstore system. The testing results show that using Struts framework to develop Web systems can greatly improve the efficiency of system development, and can increase the stability, expansibility and maintainability of the system greatly.

The characteristics of AJAX technology can read and write data without refreshing the page, so as to relieve the burden of server and speed up the response and shorten the waiting time for customers. The SSH framework is the organic integration of Struts, Spring and Hibernate three technologies. The e-commerce system has good hierarchical coding design thought of MVC system on the Struts2 framework. The paper presents application of AJAX and SSH framework in development of electronic commerce system.

In order to solve the problems of electronic commerce’s discreteness, heterogeneous, decentralized and incompleteness, proposes a framework for electronic commerce system based on the SCA, through the design of logical structure of the system, the different modules of electronic commerce systems are uniform packaged through the service component, so the system has feature of scalability and flexibility. Practice shows that the program can effectively respond to the existing electronic commerce system for information integration, information exchange and data sharing.

Welcome to the HICSS-33 minitrack on Electronic Commerce Systems Development -- Modeling Methods and Methodologies. This is the first time we organize this new minitrack on electronic commerce systems development. The flexibility, scalability, user-friendliness, privacy, security, intuitiveness, and other important characteristics of electronic commerce systems make the systems development process of such systems very multifaceted and complex. Today, most electronic commerce systems are built based on intuition and rule of thumbs.Many practitioners have the misconception that there is no need for a systematic modeling and design technique for these systems. The lack of appropriate methods and methodologies to support electronic commerce systems development is another stumbling block. Most of the widely used methods are weak in supporting the modeling of user interface, non-traditional data types (e.g. multimedia), security, and access control that are so important for electronic commerce systems. New modeling methods and methodologies need to be engineered to address this new breed of electronic commerce systems development projects.The field is still in its infancy. Innovative ideas and new systems development methods and methodologies are only starting to emerge. One thing, however, is sure. Sputtered transparent electrodes for optoelectronic devices: Induced damage and mitigation strategies

This paper presents the development of unified methods and software tools for processing information resources in electronic content commerce systems. A formal model of electronic content commerce systems is proposed. The formal models of information resource processing in electronic content commerce systems are proposed. A new approach to application and implementation of business processes is formulated for the electronic content commerce systems construction. A complex method of content formation, the operational method of content management and complex method of content support are developed. Software tools for content formation, management and support are developed. Design and implementation methods of electronic content commerce systems are based on online newspapers, which reflect the results of theoretical research, are developed. From the perspective of a systemic approach, the principles of applying information resources processing in these systems for content lifecycle implementation made the development of methods for content formation, management and support possible.

Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern is very useful and popular design pattern that separates the modeling of the domain, the presentation, and the actions based on user input into three separate classes. The model acts as the domain that software is built around, the view as the visual representation of a model. It is usually the resulting markup that the framework renders to the browser and the controller responsible for processing input, acting upon the model, and deciding on what action should be performed, such as rendering a view or redirecting to another page for supporting a business models. Hadoop MapReduce paradigm applied for collected the several datasets for generating the large volume of data in batch processing. In this paper enhanced the Hadoop MapReduce for processing large scale and different data set across platform with MVC pattern. In general, the system consists of five mainly methods: 1.) Collected data sources from different platforms such as the registrar system, web mail, web blogs, news and the English Wikipedia that are included in the data file system at local system, 2.) Generate the data into a map slot from input format, 3.) calculate the jobs from the business logic, 4.) Create a data model based on data entity framework, and 5.) Display an user interface for supporting the business interfaces.

Dance appreciation is a creative and complex spiritual activity process of the unity of feeling and understanding, affection and understanding. Development of information technology and mobile terminals provide a new way to dance appreciation. In order to develop dance appreciation video system, this paper designed it based on the MVC mode and provided technical support for software development. Firstly, studied the MVC mode, using graph represented the relationship among modes, views and controllers; and then designed layered system architecture consisting of user layer, service layer and management layer; finally, with the live video of one of the core program designed the program flow and illustrated the implementation process. The results shown that forcibly defining controller, model, view and other modules of application improved the readability of application and the reusability of code.

It is not an exaggeration to say that over the past forty years solid-state electronic devices have revolutionized working practices and the way leisure time is spent. The semiconductor at the heart of the vast majority of these electronic devices is silicon. Predictions that new semiconductors will be required to enable the pace of the electronics revolution to be kept at its present level are regularly made, but silicon device engineers just keep coming up with ways to make silicon devices better and better.

An attempt has been made in the present study to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) based user-friendly accident data management system for selected locations of Surat city, Gujarat, India. The accident data management system offers a platform to maintain and update accident database and use it for further analysis. In the present study, the GIS database has been developed with the help of MapInfo10.5, a geographic mapping and analysis tool to locate accident-prone areas quickly and accurately on a map. Accident data management system is purposely designed in a user friendly manner to suit people who are not familiar with computers and it follows Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern and is created using JSP - servlets. Major functionalities of the present system are accident data reporting as per Indian Roads Congress (IRC 53, 2012) guidelines and statistical analysis of accident data. The findings from the present study highlights the necessity of developing GIS data base and user-friendly accident data management system for effective planning, design, construction, analysis, operation, maintenance, and administration of transportation systems and facilities.

Client-Server (C/S) application is always used in the existing Human Resource Management System (HRMS) as the system architecture, which has the problems of complex maintenance and poor compatibility; and cannot use professional database and development system, making the system development difficult and the data security low. To solve the above problems, the overall demand is analyzed, as well as feasibility and key technologies of the enterprise HRMS system. Then a HRMS is designed and developed, based on the user’s key functional requirements and related technologies, which is reasonable and easy to maintain. The system is supported by Browser-Server (B/S) structure, with the current popular Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) multi-level structure as the overall architecture. The mature Microsoft SQL Server 2008 introduced by Microsoft is used as the database platform. Combined with Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern, this system can be used by users without geographical restrictions and system maintenance. In this system, performance logic and business logic are separated, which makes it convenient for the development and maintenance of the system. The system mainly includes six modules: personnel management, organizational management, recruitment management, training management, salary management and system management, which integrates enterprise information and realizes the functions of easy access and easy query of information database. Its interface is simple, easy to understand, and easy to operate, with low investment, low cost, high safety, good performance and easy maintenance, which help to improve the work efficiency and modern management level of enterprises. In the end, the operation performance of the system is tested. The results show that the throughput of the main functional modules in the system is greater than 100 times/s when dealing with the business, and the success rate of event processing is greater than 99%. The average response time of the business end is less than 0.4 s, and the average response time of the terminal side is less than 0.5 s, which all meet the standards. System CPU occupancy rate can be basically controlled below 30%, and memory usage rate is below 30%. In summary, the system designed here has the basic functions but also to ensure good performance, suitable for enterprise personnel management, organizational management, recruitment management, training management and salary management. The design and development of this system aims to provide technical support for the service quality of enterprise human resource management business, to improve the overall efficiency, promote the pace of enterprise strategic development, and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises.

According to some reasons, such as multifarious, low efficiency status of scientific research management work by artificial way, furthermore, big workload and poor adaptability of requirement change exists in traditional software development method. In this paper, a typical model of scientific research project management process was build based on workflow technology. The business logic and specific function of project management were designed separately, so a unified and orderly management of scientific research project was realized, and flexibility and system adaptability were enhanced too. Rapid development platform technology was chosen in the business system development. This technology affords a develop mode of parameter customization and it could manage intelligence report, data maintenance, Model View Controller (MVC) service control and other parameters. Compared to the traditional programming development mode, a complex and high quality business system can be developed conveniently and fast.

The Model–View–Controller (MVC) design pattern is widely used in web development and ERP to separate data layer, presentation layer, and user interaction concerns. In recent years there have been many PHP frameworks available for web developers to choose from right one. Developers face difficulty in choosing the relevant frameworks and appropriate support functions with libraries to include in their projects. For this reason, a clear understanding of the various frameworks is now becoming an important requirement for web developers. In this paper, we studied several research papers talking about different PHP frameworks, and we compared them with each other for result. In PHP, there are several MVC frameworks available that provide a structured approach to developing web applications. The purpose of this research paper is to explore and review some of the popular MVC frameworks for web development in PHP.
