Visualization of the complex courses of the cranial nerves by students in the health-related professions is challenging through either diagrams in books or plastic models in the gross laboratory. Furthermore, dissection of the cranial nerves in the gross laboratory is an extremely meticulous task. Teaching and learning the cranial nerve pathways is difficult using two-dimensional (2D) illustrations alone. Three-dimensional (3D) models aid the teacher in describing intricate and complex anatomical structures and help students visualize them. The study of the cranial nerves can be supplemented with 3D, which permits the students to fully visualize their distribution within the craniofacial complex. This article describes the construction and usage of a virtual anatomy platform in Second Life™, which contains 3D models of the cranial nerves III, V, VII, and IX. The Cranial Nerve Skywalk features select cranial nerves and the associated autonomic pathways in an immersive online environment. This teaching supplement was introduced to groups of pre-healthcare professional students in gross anatomy courses at both institutions and student feedback is included.

Online education has gradually become familiar to the public in the information age, and it has become the norm to carry out online lectures, conferences, and training, but due to the special nature of sports, online sports have not been a hot topic with the participation of the public. With the state’s designation of NCP as a “Class B”, the public’s life gradually resumed normalization, and the online sports boom gradually receded. The current situation and teaching dilemmas of online physical education (OPE) have been studied in this study to explore the constraints encountered in its current practice, to study its common problems, and to provide countermeasures for OPE in the post-epidemic era. This will enable OPE to better integrate the characteristics of the Internet and lay the foundation for the formation of an online teaching method with physical education characteristics. To sort out the constraints of online sports development in the post-epidemic era and explore countermeasures for online teaching, so as to provide a boost for the future development of online sports teaching. The arrival of the new crown epidemic has made online sports a home fitness program for the general public, and this rare practical approach provides valuable experience for the development of online sports. With the theme of online teaching development, this study analyzes the constraints on online sports development and proposes targeted countermeasures through literature, interviews, and logical analysis methods. In the post-epidemic period, OPE is constrained by both endogenous factors (students’ individual needs, lack of necessary supervision, and untimely communication) and exogenous factors (instructional design of online courses, quality teaching resources, and environmental and peer factors). By 1) improving the way to enhance students’ participation in online sports, 2) establishing a diversified evaluation and supervision mechanism, 3) determining the role transformation and role of online sports courses, and 4) strengthening the construction of online sports teaching resources and teachers’ capacity development. The above four measures can improve the effectiveness of OPE to some extent.

Introduction. Differences in the understanding of the main management and information and security approaches to the formation of an innovative cluster group of SME with large industrial enterprises indicate the ambiguity of ways to measure and evaluate such interaction and its scope, which in Covid-19 on the basis of sustainability, decentralization and European integration requires further study. Methods. The historical and logical method is used in the article; the method of systematization, classification and theoretical generalization; the method of institutional analysis; the method of system analysis; the method of logical analysis and synthesis; the method of graphical analysis. Results. It is proved that the cooperation of industrial SME with large industrial enterprises makes certain demands on them. Before attempting to cooperate with large and medium-sized industrial enterprises, manufacturing SME must have a clear idea of the state of their activities, their own potential and its use, the market position of goods and services relative to competitors. Therefore, the procedure of diagnostics of the state of activity of industrial SME is developed in the work, the leading one in which is the assessment of its solvency. The competitiveness of a production SME, its potential and sustainability are assessed using available methods. Production SME differ in scale and types of activity, policy of its financing, degree of integration into the economy of the region or production cluster, which determines the multiplicity of areas of their support. Discussion. Market support for manufacturing SME should be directed to intensify their activities - assistance in finding markets, customers and business partners, the use of mechanisms for adaptation of enterprises using the full range of opportunities for administrative support. Cooperation of manufacturing SME with large industrial enterprises as a kind of business partnership can take place not only in traditional forms, but also using its most common organizational and economic models - subcontracting, franchising, leasing and venture business. The use of such a range of organizational and economic models of cooperation will help meet the interests of each of its participants and strengthen the economy of the region. Keywords: modern management, information and security approaches, innovative cluster group, COVID-19, sustainability, decentralization, European integration.

IntroductionA challenge faced by first year medical students is to understand the orientation of the heart in the thorax and an understanding of how blood moves through each chamber, correlating this anatomic understanding with clinical landmarks for auscultation. Previous studies have revealed the utility of three‐dimensional (3D) learning in medical education and specifically for the cardiovascular system through plastinated models, 3D computed tomography imaging, and ultrasound correlations (1‐3). By integrating virtual 3D anatomy platforms, specifically 3D4Medical’s Complete Anatomy, alongside cadaveric prosections, medical students may gain a better understanding of the path of blood flow through the heart and its orientation in the thorax.HypothesisIncorporating virtual 3D anatomy platforms with prosected cadavers improves the understanding of cardiac anatomy, specifically the orientation of the heart in the thorax and blood flow through the heart, compared to only prosected cadavers.Materials and Methods137 first year medical students at FIU HWCOM (CO 2025) attended a 25‐minute session in groups of 7‐9 students facilitated by two fourth year medical teaching assistants (TAs). In the session, the TA discussed cardiac anatomy using a prosected cadaver for half the time, followed by teaching with the 3D virtual anatomy models on the Complete Anatomyapplication from 3D4Medical. The 3D virtual anatomy models were used to further explain the location of the heart in the thorax and the path blood flow through the heart, emphasizing the correlations between anatomical structures and clinical auscultation sites. A two‐question end‐of‐course survey using the 5‐point Likert Scale was administered to all students who participated in the session. Questions included “Q1. The demonstrations with Complete Anatomy were helpful for my understanding of anatomy and pathology.” and “Q2. How likely are you to recommend virtual anatomy platforms like 3D Complete Anatomy to other medical students?”Results123 students completed the first question (Q1) and 125 students completed the second question (Q2) of the survey. For Q1, 62.6% of responses indicated that they either Agreed (34.96%) or Strongly Agreed (27.64%) that Complete Anatomy was helpful for their understanding of anatomy and pathology. For Q2, 87.2% of responses indicated that they were either Likely (25.60%) or Very Likely (61.60%) to recommend virtual anatomy platforms to other medical students.ConclusionsThe results of our survey support our hypothesis that the integrated virtual 3D anatomy teaching model improves first year medical students’ understanding of cardiac anatomy. Additionally, students overwhelmingly recommend the use of virtual anatomy platforms like Complete Anatomy to other medical students.ImplicationThe integration of virtual 3D anatomy platforms to study cardiac anatomy will strengthen the quality of medical education for first year medical students. Moving forward, it is recommended that 3D anatomy platforms be integrated into our institution’s curriculum alongside traditional cadaveric models for the teaching of cardiac anatomy in the first‐year anatomy course.

As a dynamic memory virtualization technique, ballooning is widely applied in many virtualization platforms, i.e. Xen and VMware ESX Server. Since ballooning technology enables the guest OS to surrender unused memory back to the host during runtime, and it can increase utilization and flexibility of memory. Despite the rapid development and extensive use of memory virtualization technologies, it is still a challenge to analyze and verify its validity and some major properties through formal methods. In this paper, we model the ballooning under Xen architecture including Xen hyper visor, a set of virtual machines and balloon drivers using the process algebra Communication Sequential Process (CSP) in order to verify some resource control properties of ballooning. The model is implemented with Process Analysis Toolkit (PAT). As a result, the ballooning used in Xen architecture satisfies these major resource control properties in VM requirement document.
