The authors describe a prototype system for the automated design of special service circuits, called the Circuit Design and Management System (CDMS). The prototype is built by using expert systems technology to allow for optimal use of designers' knowledge. The technologies that have been used include object-oriented representation of circuit design knowledge, database description of circuit component characteristics, conventional engineering calculation tools, and data communications interfaces. Radar jamming waveform design is a vital part of radar jamming. Over seven to eight decades of evolution, the field has transitioned from noise signal design to coherent jamming signal design, resulting in a multitude of complex jamming styles capable of achieving deceptive jamming, suppressive jamming, and smart noise jamming, which combines both deception and suppression. For the first time, this article establishes a general formula for unifying jamming waveform design. Building upon this foundation, we systematically categorize jamming techniques, and provide an in-depth summary of the corresponding principles and conduct comparative analysis of their effectiveness against different targets. Finally, we look forward in terms of future research directions in jamming waveform design, including quantifiable jamming effect evaluation indicators, combined jamming styles, and intelligent jamming waveform generation methods to address the continuous advancement of radar technology and the complexity and variability of the electromagnetic environment. In order to fill the gap in the literature by summarizing the current state of the field and highlighting key challenges and opportunities, this review provides a comprehensive overview of radar jamming waveform design, categorizes and compares different jamming techniques, and identifies future research directions.

This paper deals with the design of non-coherent jamming strategies capable of ensuring spectral compatibility with friendly radio frequency (RF) emitters. The goal is achieved via a cognitive approach, which, after recognizing the presence of friendly RF systems within the bandwidth of interest (perception), synthesizes a jamming waveform (action) with spectral notches, that allows to interfere exclusively with opposite emissions. Two methods are proposed for the synthesis of the jamming signal. The former leverages optimization techniques for quadratically constrained quadratic problems (QCQP) where each constraint embeds the interference level tolerable by a specific friendly RF system. The latter is a very computationally efficient approach based on simple projections, allowing a control over the spectral notch positions and widths. At the analysis stage, the performance of the devised jamming techniques is firstly numerically analyzed in terms of spectral occupancy and autocorrelation characteristics. The impact of the quantization process involved in the digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) of the jamming waveforms is also examined, with a particular focus on the spectral shaping impairments resulting from reduced DAC resolution. Finally, waveform transmission and reception is experimentally assessed with software defined radio (SDR) devices.

Against the backdrop of the digital era, information technology is constantly evolving. Among various technologies, EDA (Electronic Design Automation) technology provides strong support for integrated circuit design and electronic system development, demonstrating significant value. Colleges and universities are key institutions for cultivating computer professionals. By building high-level EDA laboratories, they can effectively improve the effectiveness of teaching and train talents that meet industry demands. From the perspective of computer majors in colleges and universities, this paper discusses the construction objectives of EDA laboratories and proposes specific practical strategies. The purpose is to provide feasible references for the construction of Eda laboratories, effectively enhance the quality of professional talent cultivation, and offer insights for the subsequent teaching reform of computer majors.

A novel relaxation-time large-signal table-based diode model for circuit simulation is presented. A fully automated system which characterizes the device and generates the tabular data file used by the model is also presented. Excellent agreement between simulated and measured fundamental and second through fourth harmonic power levels is demonstrated for a MODFET diode up to frequencies of 48 GHz. The results presented show that this diode model and its associated automated data acquisition and model generator systems yield accurate simulations of diode devices from diverse technologies over a wide variety of biases, frequencies, and input signal amplitudes. This makes the measurement-based modeling system a valid CAD (computer-aided design) tool for automated diode characterization and for large- and small-signal analysis and design of circuits and systems where such devices are key components.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">&gt;</ETX>

Modern radar jammers offer great flexibility in programming jamming techniques. While this results in opportunities for producing more efficient jamming techniques, it also poses a challenge in terms of technique optimization. The increased flexibility results in a vast solution space of potential techniques. In this paper we demonstrate the applicability of using genetic algorithms for developing jamming techniques for advanced digital RF memory jammers against pulse-Doppler radars employing constant false alarm rate detection algorithms. Results against different types of radar processing and target dynamics are obtained through simulations and tested empirically in a lab-based radar-jammer experiment.

These tools help students better understand complex biochemical processes, fostering deep comprehension and the development of analytical skills. Furthermore, IT in education supports distance learning and self-assessment, which is particularly valuable in light of global challenges. Thus, the integration of information technology into biochemistry instruction not only facilitates more effective learning but also promotes critical thinking in students, ultimately contributing to the preparation of highly qualified professionals capable of adapting to the rapidly evolving demands of medical practice.

The failure rate of capacitors is high in the circuit system, and in the system with high requirement for capacitance reliability, it is very important to predict the remaining useful life accurately. In this paper, a particle filter method based on genetic algorithm is proposed to predict the remaining useful life of capacitors. Using the capacitance data set published by NASA, an exponential degradation model is established, and the resampling procedure in traditional particle filter method is optimized by crossover, mutation and optimization in genetic algorithm to increase the particle diversity, and to propel particles move to the high likelihood region. Therefore, the particle depletion problem caused by the resampling step in the traditional particle filter is improved to some extent. The simulation results show that the particle filter method based on genetic algorithm can be used to achieve more accurate prediction of remaining life of electrolyte capacitor.

Research of non-contact measurement for high viscous fluid falling film thickness on spherical series surface

Widespread introduction of methods that ensure anonymity of information about individual groups (teams) of respondents in the field of official statistics is restrained by the lack of relevant industrial information technologies and systems. A three-level client-server architecture of an information technology providing data group anonymity was provided in which clients, application servers and databases are united into a local network to enhance security of primary data. A conceptual data model covering all key components of group anonymity was described. Implementation of the technology based on the Java Enterprise Edition 8 platform, Oracle GlassFish Server application server, MySQL database server and SciLab engineering calculations system wase considered. The information technology enables provision of group anonymity of data in the event of a threat of its violation by analyzing data of an auxiliary microfile. The technology provides operations for constructing fuzzy group models using a genetic algorithm and modification of a microfile with the help of a mimetic algorithm which enables effective provision of anonymity by introducing minor insignificant distortions into data. Application of the technology was illustrated by solution of the task of providing anonymity of a military group based on real data of American Society Survey, 2013. It was shown that solving the problem by a team of five specialists has enabled at least two and a half times faster the process of preparation of a microfile than by the use of an existing technology

In recent years, more researchers choose to use information technology into test environment, this is not only makes the results of experiment more efficient, but also diversify the use of the test. In the past, some researchers developed a test system based on concept of Adaptive Test (PPATS). Although the system has been shown to maintain the confidence of students and can improve the learning performance effectively, but we still do not understand the relationship between items. Therefore, this study uses an aspect based on the social network technique, which is, at any item is an independent node and base on this social network analysis technique we try to find out the reasons and similar characteristic between items which have the high relations. The purpose for this is to provide a strategy for teachers to adjust and improve the way whiles selecting items. Finally, this study observes that the Bloom's Taxonomy is the obviously main reason for high relation between items. Especially in the [Conceptual] [Remember], those items are easy to produce high correlation. Therefore, if there are some related ⌜PPATS⌟ testing systems, which also used of the Bloom's Taxonomy, our foremost recommend is to reduce the number of items corresponding to [Conceptual] and [Remember], this must be the best way to degrade the correlation for any generated paper.

The disruptions in this era have caused a leap forward in information technology being applied in organizations to create a competitive advantage. In particular, we see this in tourism services, as they provide the best solution and prompt responses to create value in experiences and enhance the sustainability of tourism. Since scheduling is required in tourism service applications, it is regarded as a crucial topic in production management and combinatorial optimization. Since workshop scheduling difficulties are regarded as extremely difficult and complex, efforts to discover optimal or near-ideal solutions are vital. The aim of this study was to develop a hybrid genetic algorithm by combining a genetic algorithm and a simulated annealing algorithm with a gradient search method to the optimize complex processes involved in solving tourism service problems, as well as to compare the traditional genetic algorithms employed in smart city case studies in Thailand. A hybrid genetic algorithm was developed, and the results could assist in solving scheduling issues related to the sustainability of the tourism industry with the goal of lowering production requirements. An operation-based representation was employed to create workable schedules that can more effectively handle the given challenge. Additionally, a new knowledge-based operator was created within the context of function evaluation, which focuses on the features of the problem to utilize machine downtime to enhance the quality of the solution. To produce the offspring, a machine-based crossover with order-based precedence preservation was suggested. Additionally, a neighborhood search strategy based on simulated annealing was utilized to enhance the algorithm’s capacity for local exploitation, and to broaden its usability. Numerous examples were gathered from the Thailand Tourism Department to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach. The proposed hybrid genetic algorithm’s computational results show good performance. We found that the hybrid genetic algorithm can effectively generate a satisfactory tourism service, and its performance is better than that of the genetic algorithm.

A Swappable Logic Unit (SLU) is an FPGA-based logic circuit that can be managed by a virtual hardware operating system. Since the SLU concept is still in its infancy, it is unreasonable to expect circuit design systems to be enhanced to include SLU awareness at this stage. Therefore, this paper describes a tool that can be used as a back end to any XC6200 circuit design system. It analyses XC6200 circuitry, to detect SLUs and then collect information about their external interfaces. This information is needed by an operating system so that it can manage the SLUs when they are in use.

As information technology and multimedia products become more and more readily available, copyright and other related legal topics become more and more significant. Embedding copyright information as hidden data into the multimedia product-named watermarking- is one of the methods to protect owner rights. Two main concepts in watermarking are imperceptibility and robustness of the watermark. A tradeoff between these two features exists, which can be introduced as an optimization problem. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is applied to solve this optimization problem. In this paper, a new adjustable watermarking method based on singular value decomposition is presented so that SVD parameters are adjusted by using the GA considering image complexity and attack resistance. The proposed watermarking method is also an adjustable solution, so that by changing fitness function (cost function), watermarking method can be converted to each of robust, fragile, or semi-fragile types. Simulation results show that the proposed method has better results from the case where watermarking parameters are adjusted by the user empirically.
