The Chinese Muslim community in Surabaya takes a role in various social activities, through Islamic philanthropy programs in the zakat aspect. This study using qualitative data from several observation, interviews, reference books, news, journals and opinions in mass media as well as other relevant sources. This study focuses on the following questions: First, how is the effort to optimize Islamic philanthropy in the zakat program for community welfare in the Chinese Muslim community in Surabaya? Secondly, how is the management of professional zakat efforts to realize the community in the Chinese Muslim community? Third, how to build zakat movement in Indonesia? The results showed; first, the optimization of Islamic philanthropy in the Chinese Muslim community in Surabaya through the zakat program has been done, but still needs to be improved. Second, professional management of zakat is needed to realize society. How to involve a lot of professionals by using good management technology and systemic. Third, building the zakat movement in Indonesia among Chinese Muslim and non-Chinese Muslim and government partners to achieve optimal results.

With advances in QR code, mobile is becoming one of important channels in the fashion retail industries. This study attempts to understand the importance of QR code utilization in creating multi-channel business model. Study objectives are to classify types of multi-channel retailing by QR code utilization and to explore the role of QR code technology in strategic marketing elements for types of multichannel retailer. As an exploratory approach, a total of 78 news articles regarding QR code issues were reviewed and analyzed by focusing on 48retailers seleted in this study. The results found seven dimensions of QR code marketing strategies: abundant product information, additional information contents, transaction accessibility, connectedness to channels, location based service, loyalty program and multimedia advertising. Based a combination of channels and level of mobile apps' activation, multichannel retailers utilizing QR code technology were classified into four types; bricks-click-active mobile model, bricks-click-inactive mobile model, bricks-click model, and click-active mobile model. There were differences of using QR code marketing strategies among multichannel models. According to results, for bricks-and-mortar retailers, QR code was critical to integrate shopping experience with merchandise or sales promotions across channels. In addition, for non-store retailers, the QR code utilization was successful in expanding mobile channels, which can promote retail sales by a two-way interaction with customers via the mobile apps.

With the increasing demand for secure file-sharing mechanisms, crptographic encryption combined with QR codes has emerged as an efficient and reliable approach to safeguarding sensitive data [1]. This paper presents a secure file transfer system that employs the Fernet symmetric encryption algorithm to encrypt files and encodes the encrypted file path into a $Q R$ code for seamless sharing [2]. The system enhances security by dynamically generating cryptography keys, ensuring that unauthorized access is nearly impossible [3]. Additionally, it integrates user authentication mechanisms, adding an extra layer of security and ensuring that only legitimate users can decrypt and access the shared files [4]. Unlike traditional file-sharing methods that are prone to data breaches, phishing attacks, and unauthorized interceptions [5], this approach mitigates such vulnerabilities by eliminating the need for manual key exchanges. By automating encryption, QR code generation, and secure key management, the system minimizes human errors and makes the process both user-friendly and highly secure [6]. The adoption of AES-based encryption ensures strong resistance against bruteforce attacks [1], while the two-factor authentication (2FA) feature prevents unauthorized decryption attempts [7]. This research explores the step-by-step architecture of the system, including its workflow, encryption model, and security evaluations [2]. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed framework provides high-speed encryption and decryption, making it feasible for real-time applications [6]. Additionally, QRbased key management significantly enhances usability and accessibility while maintaining a high level of data protection [7]. The system is cross-platform compatible, supporting Windows, mac OS, Linux, and mobile devices, ensuring broad usability in various environments [4]. By leveraging QR code technology for secure key distribution, this solution offers a lightweight yet highly robust alternative to conventional encryption-based file-sharing techniques [5]. The proposed framework not only strengthens data confidentiality and integrity but also simplifies the process of secure file transfer, making it suitable for diverse applications, including government, corporate, and personal data protection [6]. Future research may focus on scalability, integration with cloud storage, and adaptive encryption mechanisms to further enhance security and performance [].

Chicken and egg food traceability system based on NFC and QR code technology was designed. The traceability system registers and uploads the information of raised chickens through the chicken foot ring embedded with NFC tag. The system generates egg QR code according to the registered information and prints it on the eggs corresponding to the raised chickens. It is used for consumer users to scan and query the relevant information of the eggs and the raised chickens, including the breeding address, breeder and breeding record of the raised chickens. The system is designed based on the classic three-layer mode of the Internet of things and the B / S architecture. The system mainly realizes the traceability of chickens through NFC tags and eggs through QR codes. It has high stability and great application and promotion value.

This research analyses consumer perceptions of using QR Codes in promotional activities and digital payments implemented at Rumah Makan Surya Rezeki "Tahu Gimbal" Tlogosari-Semarang. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a questionnaire analysis approach given to consumers who have completed transactions at the restaurant. The result of this research is a change in how restaurants serve consumers with the introduction of QR Code technology as an alternative to provide information on the available menu items along with their prices and enable digital payments. The QR Code information provided is sufficient when printed as an image, and consumers focus their smartphone camera on scanning it until it connects to the needed information. The implementation of QR codes impacts the improvement of customer service through more straightforward, faster, and safer service. The obstacles encountered in implementing this QR code technology are unstable network access, which causes the application communication to malfunction, and many consumers still do not understand how to use the QR code.

The tourism industry is associated with people travelling either domestically or abroad, for business, social, or recreational reasons. This industry integrates numerous services and activities such as tourism organization, marketing, hotel industry, transportation services, food and beverage activities, retail stores and various other activities under one umbrella. In addition to generating income and jobs, tourism is the best way to promote the nation's image. As the economy and living conditions have improved, so too has the tourist sector, and more people are turning to vacations as a way to alleviate stress and unwind. Currently, travel agencies handle a lot of data with low efficiency and a lot of mistakes. Therefore, this study developed a comprehensive integration of QR code for package travel management system that caters to users in Malaysia, offering functionalities such as itinerary customization, QR code generation and access to essential travel information. The development of this project adopts the Waterfall Methodology, encompassing phases such as planning, requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing. The application is crafted using the Visual Studio Code. The study conducted a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using questionnaires to evaluate the system's effectiveness and user-friendliness to thirty respondents including family members of frequent travellers and randomly selected community members. Positive feedbacks with Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) scoring 3.6, Attitude of Using (ATT) at 3.7, Perceived Usefulness (PU) scoring 3.4, and Intention to Use (IU) obtaining 3.9, were gathered from the analysis and findings that emphasizing the QR code system's potential as a cost-effective and efficient solution for travellers to monitor and optimize their travel experiences. Future work involves adding maps for easy navigation and implementing augmented reality (AR) for virtual destination previews.

This study aims to estimate the factors determining the perceived behavioral Intention to use the QR code on a smartphone in the commuter line tap-in tap-out ticketing process as an alternative payment. The rapid growth of information technology in the last two decades had become a factor that encouraged individuals and groups to utilize information technology from devices or technological tools as effectively and efficiently as possible to facilitate the activities and business processes being carried out. This research used the probability sampling technique with a random sampling of 100 commuter line passengers. In addition, this research used the data analysis technique of the Structural Equation Model-SmartPLS3.0. The results indicated that perceived compatibility and enjoyment significantly affected the perceived ease of use and usefulness in the consumer's behavioral Intention to use QR Code technology on smartphones as a substitution for purchasing commuter train tickets. However, the three other variables, perceived convenience, self-efficacy, and enjoyment, do not significantly influence the usefulness of using QR Code Technology on smartphones as an alternative for purchasing commuter tickets, and neither do the technological knowledge and perceived compatibility.

In the current situation, graphical illustrations are used in Digital clothing fashion. These clothing design specifications are built using computer technologies. In the internet world, the major challenges in fashion technology are forged products and untimely product delivery. Counterfeiting has always been a severe problem in the luxury goods business. To solve this issue, the proposed system authenticates the smart contract document for digital clothing design specifications based on the blockchain and QR code. Smart contracts are a set of simple self-executing codes or programs. It can run automatically when the predetermined conditions are met. It enables secure transactions and agreements to be completed without the need for centralised authority. Blockchain is a distributed, immutable ledger that makes it easier to record transactions and manage assets in a business network. QR codes are square-shaped matrices of dark or light pixels that are used to encode and retrieve data from computing devices more quickly. QR codes are used in a wide range of applications, from supply chain management to crypto wallet addresses. The proposed system has the following steps. Select the digital garment design specification file from the smart contract approved list. Verification authority checks whether the file has been approved file or not with the recorded blockchain data. After the verification process, a secure QR code is generated with the secret message. The generated QR code is included in the design specification file. This encoded file is uploaded to the IPFS (Interplanetary File System). This QR code symbol and a design specification file’s IPFS hash code are sent to the stitching section. This QR code is used to determine if the file has been tampered with or forged. The QR code is decoded by using the secret message and it displays the decoded product information. Finally, the downloaded data has been validated using the blockchain. This QR code encoding and decoding process experimented with the collected dataset which has 60 images. The action of the QR code analysed based on the with and without attacks.

In this thesis, to propose an concept of using the advantage of QR Code and RFID technologies to implement into library management and lending service. Due to shortage of human resources in library routine operation, a concept of using QR Code and RFID will improve customer satisfaction in use of library and the efficiency of library management. To extend library management and functionality, the system could provide various conveniences and help library personnel to use the system without any difficulty. Therefore, it could not only improve quality of life but also life culture for people who manage the library or use it. At the mean time, in order to reduce the use of paper and fulfill the government policy of energy saving & carbon reducing, using latest technology of QR Code and RFID could reduce paper consumption tremendously and turn library management into high efficiency with low cost operation. The purpose of this study wishes to build an automatic library management system, which not only provide a user-friendly system but reduce the impact of insufficient information of existing system. Also, the system could provide variety of information for the users whenever and wherever they are in a library. The system will have various kinds of information in different level, that provides suitable information whenever users require. This also eliminates the time that library personnel spends and improve user experience in library operation. The expectation of this study is to have library work properly when adopting this system and provides better experience in all aspects of library operation.

Sensory Gardens are considered non-formal learning environments, however, they are not used as a methodological alternative for teaching in Brazil. The installation of the QR Code in a Sensory Garden is innovative and the link to in a non-formal learning environment can attract and retain student’s attention. Our study tested the hypothesis that Public School students between the ages of 13 and 15 years old are not stimulated by subjects taught in the area of botany when exposed to non-formal learning environments. The study selected 23 students, divided into two teams, in which one obtained access to the Sensory Garden and the other team was restricted to the content addressed in the formal learning environment. ‘Diagnostic questionnaires’ were applied to assess botanical knowledge, before and after the activity, comparing results between teams. From the data obtained, it was possible to prove the effectiveness of the Sensory Garden in the student’s botanical learning process. Our results indicate that the use of QR Code technology contributed to students’ improvement and interest in botany, while arousing curiosity and enthusiasm to observe, in loco, the content previously covered in the classroom. In assessing botanical knowledge among participants, this study reported that students attending the Sensory Garden showed better performance compared to students who did not attend the Sensory Garden. Therefore, we reject the hypothesis tested and accept that the Sensory Garden using QR Code was relevant and contributed as a study tool for 13 to 15 years old students from Public High-schools.

This paper puts forward a scheme to construct a new public transport payment method by combining IC card, NFC and QR code based on the application of NFC technology and QR code technology. An APP is programmed and designed to aggregate different payment ports on one platform, which solves the problem of accumulative discount of single payment platform and provides more comprehensive and affordable payment service. This paper builds the payment platform by programming language and database and carries on the function test by simulation method. The platform integrates today's multiple payment methods, allowing passengers to choose the payment method that suits them. By accumulating the consumption amount together, it is easier to reach the discount standard and get the discount. Thus, it solves the problem that the accumulative discount cannot be carried out in current single public transport payment method.

COVID-19 has created the worst crisis for businesses worldwide, particularly in the education and learning industries. During the Covid-19 pandemic, most learning institutions will have to use the digital environment to communicate knowledge and skills to their learners. E-Learning Management System is used to share learning resources in form of digital documents for the teaching and learning process. However, digital documents are vulnerable to unlawful reproduction and distribution. Thus, it is necessary to safeguard and establish document ownership. Based on this reason, this paper proposes a mechanism to safeguard and confirm ownership of documents using the steganography technique embedded in QR code technology. The main objective of this study is to design and implement a mechanism that can securely embed ownership and acquisition information into digital documents. The scope of this study is limited to embedding and verifying ownership information; it does not address broader cybersecurity controls such as full document encryption or digital rights management. In the proposed mechanism, information related to the documents such as the owner and the person who acquired the document is concealed using the steganography technique and embedded in QR Code. A prototype is developed and tested based on the criteria of completeness, usability, and imperceptibility parameters to verify the effectiveness of the mechanism. The result indicates that the proposed mechanism can confirm the ownership and protect the documents from any misused activities such as being distributed on a public platform without the owner’s consent.

Rapid technological developments provide benefits for library management. One of them is the application of automatic identifiers in library management, through RFID and QR Code implementation. Some problems that are faced by libraries at the moment, include the lack of guarantees for the safety management of books in the library, lack of services human resources library management, and book availability information has not been accurate. This research conducts the development of a library management information system to solve the problems by using automatic identifiers utilizing Near Field Communication and QR Code technology. The implementation scenario is each library member has the NFC Card and their personal information stored in the NFC card, also each book in the library is put with a QR Code label containing book code information. Transaction of book loan and book return are done by initially tapping NFC Card to record visitor returned or borrow the book and then continue to scanning QR Code label of each book borrowed or returned. In the final stage, the application tested by tapping the NFC card (RFID) on the reader/writer device, and it found the NFC Card could be read or record data from the device at a maximum of 7 cm, while testing phase conducted QR Code label could be read at a maximum distance of 40 centimeters from the device. Implementing automatic identifier help to manage transaction in library more accurate, improve services and provide added value for the library.

Despite a good enough degree so traditional printed maps, however you can still find new ways to increase information card capacity and thus partially resolve the existing contradiction between the clarity and readability of the maps. One such way is to use QR code technology. The article describes the basic features of QR codes, to ensure that the interest in this technology. The research identified a number of advantages of using QR codes when creating traditional cards. Technology research with the use of QR codes in cartography has both scientific and practical value in terms of creating traditional cards for various content and destination.
