Review on hybrid geothermal and solar power systems
Solar power systems in homes have become the need of the hour due to the crisis of fossil fuels. Also, it is a useful way of rural electrification and cutting down on running electricity costs. This paper discusses a 26-kW solar power system for powering homes along with IoT-based monitoring. The proposed system is expected to be low in cost and highly efficient. The system can also be used as a battery backup without solar power. The emergence of Blockchain technology is poised to revolutionize the sharing of information by providing a means of building trust in decentralized settings without the reliance on intermediaries. This technological breakthrough has the potential to transform several industries, including the internet of things (IoT). In addition to Blockchain, IoT has also been able to address some of its limitations by utilizing innovative technologies like big data and cloud computing. For security, Blockchain as a decentralized application will be used. Each block typically contains the transaction data, and power consumption data which can’t be tampered with even if changing all subsequent blocks, which is expensive to do so.

Blockchain Technology Based Security for UAV IoT Environment
Recent emerging technologies are being utilized for the quench of connectivity in real time scenarios. A push is coming to make the information available to humans from the real-time environmental data collected through small sensing devices. Wireless ad-hoc network is a base architecture for Internet of Things (IoT), Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV) and drones etc. In this series, IoDTIoDT (Internet of Drone Things) came as the future of drones backend via the Internet of Things, smart vision, cloud computing, enhanced communication, big data, and advanced security approaches. Rapid growth in sensing devices connected to the Internet with intelligence and capabilities also opens the door for attackers because more devices are connected means more chances of security vulnerabilities. Since data authentication is handled only by the central station, which may lead to the chances of device spoofing and false authentication brings less reliability after all. Blockchain (BC) technology is introduced to address such security concerns by eliminating the role of central authority. Blockchain Technology gives decentralized and non-tamperable solutions for the most demanding security service i.e. Authentication. This paper starts with unique characteristics and security challenges in such IOT environment and further covers the authentication process by blockchain with its potential benefits. The multilayer ecosystem is illustrated to fulfill the requirement of the UAV IoT environment, where multiple devices are equally working in a cooperative manner to perform an authorized action. The paper presented a complete study about the integration of blockchain in IoT enabled UAV.

Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a breakthrough technology in the transfer of medical data via a communication system. Wearable sensor devices collect patient data and transfer them through mobile internet, that is, the IoMT. Recently, the shift in paradigm from manual data storage to electronic health recording on fog, edge, and cloud computing has been noted. These advanced computing technologies have facilitated medical services with minimum cost and available conditions. However, the IoMT raises a high concern on network security and patient data privacy in the health care system. The main issue is the transmission of health data with high security in the fog computing model. In today's market, the best solution is blockchain technology. This technology provides high-end security and authentication in storing and transferring data. In this research, a blockchain-based fog computing model is proposed for the IoMT. The proposed technique embeds a block chain with the yet another consensus (YAC) protocol building security infrastructure into fog computing for storing and transferring IoMT data in the network. YAC is a consensus protocol that authenticates the input data in the block chain. In this scenario, the patients and their family members are allowed to access the data. The empirical outcome of the proposed technique indicates high reliability and security against dangerous threats. The major advantages of using the blockchain model are high transparency, good traceability, and high processing speed. The technique also exhibits high reliability and efficiency in accessing data with secure transmission. The proposed technique achieves 95% reliability in transferring a large number of files up to 10,000.
