The Research on Modern Distance Education System Based on Improved MVC Pattern

Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern is very useful and popular design pattern that separates the modeling of the domain, the presentation, and the actions based on user input into three separate classes. The model acts as the domain that software is built around, the view as the visual representation of a model. It is usually the resulting markup that the framework renders to the browser and the controller responsible for processing input, acting upon the model, and deciding on what action should be performed, such as rendering a view or redirecting to another page for supporting a business models. Hadoop MapReduce paradigm applied for collected the several datasets for generating the large volume of data in batch processing. In this paper enhanced the Hadoop MapReduce for processing large scale and different data set across platform with MVC pattern. In general, the system consists of five mainly methods: 1.) Collected data sources from different platforms such as the registrar system, web mail, web blogs, news and the English Wikipedia that are included in the data file system at local system, 2.) Generate the data into a map slot from input format, 3.) calculate the jobs from the business logic, 4.) Create a data model based on data entity framework, and 5.) Display an user interface for supporting the business interfaces.

The system of distance education was developed to fulfil the educational needs of all the segments of population. Through this system, a gap has been bridged of those people who could not get higher education due to various personal, social, economic constraints. Through this system that population was covered which due to some cultural or geographical hardships could not get education by linking themselves with the mainstream of population. If we go through the pages of history, we can find that the system of distance education has a long history of its development, and at the initial stage, it was commenced in Western countries. In the present chapter, an effort has been made to trace the history of evolution of distance education system at global level. It is also discussed in this chapter how this system has witnessed its changes at the global level both in the developed and in the developing countries. In the distance education system, there is geographical separation of teacher and taught. In addition to it, socio-psychological factors affect the learners in their learning and completing the course. The socio-psychological factors include language, culture, motivation, inadequate skills, anxiety, time and work. Distance learners, therefore, need various support services that would help them to be successful learners. For encouraging the students to get education through distance education system, a mechanism has been developed so that assistance may be provided to them so that they may not feel themselves as isolated. This system also fosters the learners for their personal development and the accomplishment of learning goals. Within this framework, the interrelationships with open and distance education structures and processes are analysed and discussed. Due to the globalization, various changes have also been noticed with the passage of time. It is also discussed how the incorporation of educational technology with student support services can be helpful in the process of teaching and learning, starting from the initial stage when the students make an entry in the system till they complete the programme. This is possible only due to the rise of the latest technology, for example, due to the use of information and communication technologies, and their incorporation in student support services strengthens still further the globalization power of the system of open and distance education.

Untuk membuat konsep dan perubahan perangkat lunak, dalam pemeliharaan, sekarang telah dikembangkan lebih mudah dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak, pola model-view-controller, yang merupakan arsitektur yang dapat membantu memfasilitasi dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan perangkat luna. Hal ini, karena dalam arsitektur model tiga-lapis, yaitu: tampilan dan pengontrolan dalam pembangunan dilakukan secara independen, sehingga dapat memberikan dahan dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan. Selain itu, arsitektur ini juga dapat melihat hal-hal yang sederhana dan menarik bagi pengguna. Software sistem on-line test adalah perangkat lunak yang memerlukan interaksi dengan pengguna, dan pemeliharaan perangkat adaptif. Karena sistem ujian on-line memerlukan pengembangan perangkat lunak untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan ini berkembang dengan cepat. Makalah ini untuk menganalisis Model-View-Controller dan mencoba pembangunan, untuk menerapkannya dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak sistem pengujian on-line.

Purpose of research.Today, one of the main tasks of distance education is a personification of learning, taking into account the mental and physical states of students. Therefore, the purpose of research, conducted by the Institute of Distance and Additional Professional Education of Ulyanovsk State Technical University is to develop a model of a regional distance education system for persons with disabilities based on an inclusive paradigm. One of the model’s components is the organization of training methods, the identification of which was the original purpose of the study, the intermediate result of which is described in the proposed paper.Materials and methods.In order to achieve the purpose of the research, we use a systematic approach, since the inclusive regional distance education system for persons with disabilities is a part of the social system with its structure, characteristics, principles, and laws of development, and a subject-subject approach based on the idea of the individual’s subject activity in his/her life processes.The paper provides a brief retrospective analysis of the distance education development in Russia and abroad. The foreign authors’ works in the field of distance education (D.R. Garrison, B. Holmberg, M. Jeffries, D. Keegan, O. Peters) belong to an earlier period and serve as a starting point for Russian scientists A. Andreev, E. Polat, V.Soldatkin, V. Tikhomirov, S. Shchennikov.A number of well-established classifications of training methods are given and the thesis is suggested that technological innovations lead to a significant expansion of pedagogical methods and techniques, pedagogical innovations that affect the nature of distance education activities for people with disabilities.Results.The result of the first stage of our research work is the propose and description of the author’s methods of organizing the education for children with disabilities: the method of adaptive and expert borrowing, the method of variable and dual training, the method of evolutionary and expert development, and the method of inclusive group virtual learning. These methods expand pedagogicalknowledge. The authors validate feasibility of the possibility of borrowing the benefits of e-learning to study humanities, natural and technical sciences, and propose the tools that allow adapting training to the students’ characteristics, regardless of their physical disabilities. Since the introduction to various fields of activity is difficult for children with disabilities, a dual education system based on the interaction of vocational education institutions and enterprises may provide an opportunity to try themselves in different professions. A virtual company is proposed to be an “employer”.Conclusion.The project deliverable will be a model of an inclusive regional distance education system for children with disabilities, developing and supplementing the theoretical, methodological and technological foundations of e-learning. In the future, a set of conditions for the functioning and development of an inclusive regional distance education system for children with disabilities will be identified, causing the learning process in the system under study. This system is characterized by the use of distance learning technologies with adaptive and expert support of the educational process, borrowing the benefits of e-learning from various areas of knowledge, and defining organizational, technical and pedagogical support for the implementation of the learning process for persons with disabilities.

In the process of distance education, the main role is given to digitalization, which essentially changes the methodology and algorithm in the learning process. This is especially true in the higher education system, where online courses, trainings and other innovative teaching methods are common in the practice of training. In modern conditions of obtaining knowledge and training specialists, innova- tive approaches to achieving digital literacy, mastering the key competencies of the digital economy are required.  The purpose of the research in the scientific article proposed by the authors is to analyze current trends in the use of digital technologies in the system of distance education (DO); based on the study of foreign and domestic experience, to identify the pros and cons in the field of distance learning in the context of the transition to digital format. The programs and projects implemented by state bodies in the field of distance education are fo- cused on the transformation of the entire technological process of education and training. All this comes down to the training of highly qualified specialists of the innovative formation that meet the new require- ments of the digital economy. The article also notes the negative consequences of the current trend involving the distance educa- tion system. Thus, modern society will have to cope with such problems as the need to address the issues of adapting the educational system to the digital environment, the reduction of traditional employment markets instead of other areas of training, which is accompanied by the presence of ethical aspects of the use of digital technologies, the vulnerability of human rights in the digital space, the growth of cy- bercrime, and others. In response to these challenges, the tasks of organizational and legal regulation of the education system, which has switched to the distance learning mode, come to the fore. To identify problems and recommendations, a sociological survey was conducted among respondents studying in this mode be- fore, as well as the opinions of experts dealing with the optimization of the educational process in the context of the use of digital technologies were systematized. Due to the spread of COVID-19, which has become a global pandemic, Kazakhstan began distance education in universities in mid-March. During the quarantine, there were several problems with distance education. The purpose of this article is to research the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Kazakhstani educational process. The methodological basis of the study describes the general situation of science in distance education in Kazakhstan by the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats analysis. In addition, this article determines the current state of Kazakhstan’s distance education system. At the end of the article, there are recommendations for solving major problems that have accumulated today. At the same time, this distance education process provides great opportunities for Kazakhstan, mainly the opportunity to develop the domestic information and communication technologies based on state information security. It is also an opportunity to lead people to protect themselves from COVID-19 safely in such a difficult global situation. Distance education is a field of education that focuses on teaching methods and technology with the aim of delivering teaching. At present, distance education has been developing rapidly in China, however, there are some common problems in distance education informatization, including sharing difficulty, weak system expansion capacity, lack of real interaction, hard to real time communication, etc. al. This paper put forwards a solution to design a distance education system by taking advantage of cloud computing. The system aims to provide infrastructure service, platform service, and software service. The architecture of distance education system is composed of cloud infrastructure layer, cloud platform layer, and cloud application layer, which has made much progress on providing educational service, and share teaching resources.

This paper describes the process and mothods of a mobile client application.The application uses JAVA, Google ADT, MyEclipse as the language and tools. and uses the MVC(Model-View-Controller) pattern. The main functions including news display;Blog showing, Blog comment; portal Information; Forum levy; Online login and so on. In addition, introduces the analysis and design of the application.

This paper proposed a model editor that can create graphically multiagent models, and a simulator development method using the editor to build multiagent simulators. Development and management of the models became very easy. In addition, reusability of the models also became very high, and simulator platforms could be changed flexibly. The proposed method was applied to some multiagent simulators and the results show that our method is effective in developing multiagent models and simulators. As future problems, we must improve the model diagrams to increase automatic code generation rates, and prepare other templates for various frameworks.

Software maintenance and evolution are important processes in software development. Developers usually face issues in the process of maintaining and evaluating software. The common problem is software code not well structured and organized. This will have an impact on the difficulty of the process of maintaining and evolving software. Maintenance and evolution process is done in all types of applications. In this research, we focus on web-based applications. Web-based applications are chosen because the development of web-based applications is very evolving. One of the most widely used design patterns in web applications is the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern. This research focuses on the model layer in web applications. Because this layer automatically changes if there is a change in the data structure or database. Therefore, to make the maintenance and evolution process easier, it is necessary to analyze and reorganize the model layer. In this study, we trying to group the functions on the model layer by looking at the similarity of table reference access in the query. For the analysis process of the reorganization of the function structure, we use DSM (Design Structural Matrix). in this research, we use DSM in a new field that is in the model layer on MVC based application. The preliminary result, the reorganization of the function structure provides better contex recommendations that following the reference table for each function.

Today, the development of technology and the internet plays an important role in providing equal opportunities in education. Distance education studies carried out for this purpose facilitate education and training by providing education opportunities independent of both time and place. There are some difficulties experienced in maintaining distance education, which is increasing in popularity day by day with the advantages it provides in the learning process with technological developments. In this study, by considering the difficulties experienced in the distance education process, suggestions are made for both system developers and teachers who are the implementers of the system. In the first part of the study, the difficulties brought by distance education and in the second part, suggestions compiled from the results of the studies on the elimination of the difficulties experienced are included. For this reason, it is thought that this study will provide important contributions to education technologists, content managers, teachers who teach with the distance education system and policy providers who develop the distance education system.

The topical problem of using the tutoring system of education and upbringing of student youth during the introduction of distance learning has been considered. The purpose of the article is to investigate the role of a tutor in the formation of professional competence of students in the training of future health and safety specialists during the introduction of distance learning. The main types of distance learning technologies have been analyzed, which allows to carry out distance learning, not only without losing the quality of learning, but on the contrary improving it through individualization, active learning methods, bilateral interaction between a teacher and a student. The author substantiates the advantages of introducing distance learning to prevent the complication of the epidemiological situation and the creation of favorable learning conditions in the context of the spread of COVID-19. The peculiarities of the work of a tutor in the conditions of online learning have been described. It has been established that the introduction of distance learning via the Internet, with periodic counseling of students by teachers-consultants (coordinators, tutors) – is a resource to fully ensure the level of knowledge acquisition and skills necessary for future professional activity and further career growth labor protection specialists. The author reveals the essence of the concept of «tutor». The importance of a tutor in the application of distance learning in higher education institutions is theoretically substantiated. It has been established that a tutor is a key figure in the distance learning process. The responsibilities, roles, functions and tasks of a tutor in modern educational conditions, to ensure the quality of educational services in higher education institutions and to achieve the goal of education are highlighted. The pedagogical conditions of training, which are realized by a teacher (tutor), during the introduction of distance learning, during the professional training of future specialists of occupational safety in order to obtain a competent specialist, are presented. It has been estimated that the role of a teacher (tutor) is expanding and updating in the system of distance education. It has been established that a teacher (tutor) coordinates the cognitive process using various forms of interaction (seminars, webinars, video-lectures, video-conferences), improves digital educational content, provides meaningful advice, manages educational projects and other.

The article examines modern approaches to remote teaching of physical culture in the American education system and the introduction of interactive technologies into the educational process. Advanced pedagogical experience in the organization of physical education of young people is revealed on the example of American educational institutions. Currently, the relevance of electronic education of students of higher education institutions with the use of distance educational technologies is being popularized. The system of distance learning of physical culture in educational institutions of the United States enables applicants to actively combine classroom classes and independent work, to use new technical possibilities (video lectures, audio lectures, virtual work in groups); teachers - to provide educational materials in electronic form; to organize communication on forums or by e-mail, to have a complete picture of the students' activities. The Moodle distance learning platform in US educational institutions offers a structured learning plan, quizzes, glossaries, forums, chat rooms, databases, online surveys, creative tasks, exercises, projects and more. The US Sports Academy offers courses that allow distance learning and obtaining the necessary material for both bachelors and masters of sports sciences, as well as doctors of pedagogical sciences. With the help of distance technologies, the following forms of knowledge transfer are used in the US secondary education system for teaching physical culture: distance course, chat class, web class, web forum, teleconference, online seminar. The experience of using modern distance learning technologies for teaching physical culture in the US education system points to the fact that modern technological trends are radically changing the perception of education. Further research related to the transformation of the positive experience of teaching physical education in the distance education system in the USA in the realities of the education system of Ukraine is promising.
