Why Globalization Hardly Affects Education Systems

The higher institutions are known for where ideologies are formed. They also serve as instruments of motivating students. Tertiary education in particular is fundamental to the construction of knowledge and knowledge itself has become a vital factor for political education. Nigerian students are politically active and have in no small measure influenced policies within their universities and in the nation as a whole. Nigerian universities have produced a lot of activists that are presently influencing the Nigerian political landscape. These activists have been known to have developed their political ideologies and activism while in the university. The major objective of this study is to determine whether in reality universities play a role in political education of students. A number of factors, such as, curriculum, media, peer influence and lecturers’ influence are also used to determine the agents of political socialization of the students within the university. The study also highlighted which of the agents seem to have the greatest impact on the students’ political education within the university. The study design is survey research using a questionnaire tagged “Political Education of Students in the University” (PESUQ). The study population is Obafemi Awolowo University. The university is selected because it is deemed to be one of the most politically active among Nigerian universities. The study sample is 1,000 students. 536 new students and 464 old students were selected through a disproportionate stratified random sampling. The questionnaire is divided into two sections. The first section is the personal data of students while the second section addresses students’ agents of political education.The study was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics; such as mean, frequency, T-test and chi-square to test relationships, using the SPSS package. Findings revealed that the students are politically influenced in the university system. However, more old than new are influenced. In the same to the male students are more politically socialised than female. It was also found that the main agents of students’ political education are the curriculum, the students union and the lecturers. Developing a new way of ideological and political education and expansion ofknowledge, WeChat public platform is predicted to be more widely used in education in the future. How to improve the ideological and political education system by network platform is one of essential and challenging issues in the field of party construction and student management. By describing, explaining and searching for the construction, operation and developing strategy of a clinical medical colleges’ WeChat public platform, named Xinghuo Qingnianhui, this research is aimed at providing propagable and referential module for building education platform and innovating ideological and political education, therefore, it contributes to enhance the ability of ideological and political education of universities and integrated skill training of students in the new situation. The study was based on concerns about the condition of the political dynamics in Indonesia, particularly in relation to the political awareness of the young generation is minimal gain in political education. This research aims to know how the implementation of political education in schools to increase the political consciousness of students. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive methods of analysis. Data and information gathering techniques used include the study of documentation, interviews, and observations. The results showed that the school as an important component of education, can basically be used as a medium of political education to inculcate and establish the nation's growing political awareness generation, through various forms of educational programs through both political education, student council and extracurricular activities as well as other forms of activities planned incidental or intending to provide political information to students. A growing number of studies focus on the two-way channels connecting public opinion and interest groups, highlighting how public support affects interest groups’ mobilization, strategies, and influence, while also showing how interest groups manage to shape public opinion. We contribute to this debate, assuming that interest groups are fundamentally survival-maximizing organizations. First, we investigate whether public opinion bears on advocacy groups’ assessment of their own survival prospects. Second, we assess whether public opinion-driven mortality anxiety affects advocacy groups’ choices regarding different lobbying strategies. Empirically, we rely on data from the Comparative Interest Group Survey, including over 2500 interest group respondents across six European Union (EU) countries as well as groups working at the EU level. Our analysis shows that (1) public opinion crucially influences how advocacy groups estimate their chances of survival, particularly for citizen groups and (2) public opinion-related survival concerns stimulate greater relative use of outside lobbying by citizen groups.

An over-reliance of one source of power may come at the expense of another. Adding to this complexity of politics that educational leaders must contend with is the wide array of educational issues and political actors seeking to shape education politics and policy. As well as educational leaders, other actors include teachers, school boards, voters, businesses, community organizations, teacher unions, institutions of higher learning, professional organizations, non-governmental agencies, and non-profits. In addition to the wide-ranging number of political issues and political actors, there is also a wide array of policy levels, ranging from the federal level, the state/provincial level, the district level, and the school level. In seeking to improve our knowledge and practice, scholars and practitioners categorize educational politics as micropolitical or macropolitical in nature. Both share similar concepts, including the pursuit of power, formal arenas, informal arenas, influence, control, conflict, cooperation, strategies, exchange, negotiation, interest groups, values, and ideologies. Educational leadership preparation programs seek to prepare aspiring leaders for the inevitable presence of politics in schools and practice.

This paper assumes that the concept of education should be established in order to improve the quality of medical education. Based on the connotation of education ideas, combining with the understanding of current higher medical education development trend and present situation of higher medical colleges and universities education reform, this paper argues that the comprehensive quality education concept, elite education concept, humanist education, lifelong education ideas and concepts, internationalization and characteristic education philosophy are the most important concepts that medical colleges and universities must establish. The use of technology to enhance educational experiences has gained significant attention, particularly in the field of emotional engagement monitoring. Active student participation can promote a greater knowledge of values, ethics, and social duties, which is particularly crucial in university ideological and political education. The research objective is to establish a biosensor-based emotional monitoring and feedback system for university ideological and political education. This research proposed a novel Battle Royale fine-tuned Deep Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BR-DBiLSTM) to detect both cognitive and emotional engagement in students. The system uses a combination of biosensors to monitor physiological and behavioral indicators and collect emotional data. The feedback system uses an instructor dashboard to display emotional states and engagement levels and alerts to trigger responses if students show disengagement or stress. The data was preprocessed using Z-score normalization to reduce noise from the obtained data. Feature extraction was implemented using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), BR is to optimize and select the features and DBiLSTM model to improve its classification accuracy. The experimental findings show that the suggested model has a high degree of reliability in identifying cognitive and emotional involvement, with a Micro-F1 of 90.62%, Micro-P of 89.95%, and Micro-R of 88.34%. This system demonstrates the potential for enhancing engagement in ideological and political education through adaptive feedback mechanisms based on biosensor data.
