In June-July 2011, a salvage excavation was conducted in Nahal Zanoah (Permit No. A-6613; map ref. 200298-510/624031-182; Fig. 1), prior to construction. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Ministry of Housing, was directed by R. Be'eri (field photography and drafting), with the assistance of R. Abu Diab (administration), M. Kunin (surveying and drafting) and A. Peretz (field photography).

During April 2002, an excavation was conducted on Shazar Boulevard in Be'er Sheva', below the eastern parking lot of the municipal building (Permit No. A-3631; map ref. NIG 18097/57314; OIG 13097/07314), in the wake of exposing two tombs when installing a conduit for runoff. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and underwritten by the Ministry of Housing and Construction (surveying), was directed by Y. Israel, with the assistance of F. Sonntag (field photography), A. Inbar, A. Sabah-Shahar and E. Kaho (conservation work) and A. Pikovski (pottery drawing). Other participants included S. Spiegel and employees of the Technical Department of the Ministry of Housing, Southern District, A. Ron and Y. Griff - project directors, Eng. K. Leibowitz, Shomroni Construction Company and workers of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and its volunteers under the guidance of Rabbi Schmidel.

In August 2016, an excavation was conducted in the Modi'in industrial zone (Permit No. A-7771; map ref. 197247-385/644049-202), prior to the construction of an interchange. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by the Ministry of Housing, was directed by A. Dayan, with the assistance of Y. Amrani and E. Bachar (administration), D. Ein-Mor (field photography and consultation), M. Kahan (surveying and drafting), T. Ajami (registration), P. Gandelman (scientific guidance and ceramics), I. Kornfeld and A. ‘Azab (consultation), M. Ajami (metal detection), O. Barzilai and M. Oron (flint tools) and A. Glick (ammunition).

Meitlis (area supervision), A. Dimitriev(assistant area supervisor), N. Nehama, R. Abu Halaf and Y. Al-‘Amor (administration), A. Peretz (field photography), A. Hajian, M. Kahan and M. Kunin (surveying and drafting), S. Gendler (logistics) and I. Delerson (plans).

In April-May 2017, a trial excavation was conducted some 700 m northeast of Khirbat el-Karak (Permit No. A-7980; map ref. 207251-648/731927-2126; Fig. 1), prior to development work. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by the Ministry of Housing, was directed by E. Oren (field photography), with the assistance of E. Bachar and Y. Amrani (administration), D. Kirzner and A. Oshri (preliminary development survey), R. Mishayev (surveying and drafting), A. Dagot (GPS), A. Masarwa and K. Sa'id (IAA Haifa District).

Tepper (scientific consulting), I. Taxel and Y. Agmon (pottery), Y. Nagar (physical anthropology), Y. Peretz (field photography) and E. Delerzon (plans), as well as A. ‘Azab and I. Kornfeld (consulting).

The survey, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and underwritten by the Ministry of Housing and Construction, was performed by R. Assis, I. Kornfeld (field photography) and A. Dayan, with the assistance of H. Ben Ari (surveying), L. Barda (mapping), P. Spivak (prehistory consultation), A. Onn and S. Weksler-Bdolah.

During February-March 2004, a trial excavation was conducted at Khirbat es-Suyyagh (Permit No. A-4121*; map ref. NIG 2001/6282; OIG 1501/1282). The excavation, carried out on behalf of the Antiquities Authority and financed by the Ministry of Housing and Construction, was directed by E. Kogan-Zehavi, with the assistance of A. Eirikh-Rose (area supervision), A. Hajian and T. Kornfeld (surveying), T. Sagiv (field photography), H. Stark (GPS), Z. Greenhut (scientific consultation and metal detection), L. Kupershmidt (metallurgical laboratory), I. Lidski-Reznikov (pottery drawings), R. Kool (numismatics) and A. Nagorski and H. Moyal.

During April-May 2004 a salvage excavation was conducted on the northern bank of Nahal Galim, on Lot No. 15 in Tirat Karmel (Permit No. A-4150*; map ref. NIG 19850/74075; OIG 14850/24075), in the wake of preparing the area for construction. The excavation, on behalf of the Antiquities Authority and financed by the Ministry of Housing and Construction, was directed by O. Segal, with the assistance of S. Ya'aqov-Jam (administration), O. Oren (area supervision), V. Essman and V. Pirsky (surveying), E. Belashov (drafting), T. Sagiv (field photography), C. Amit (studio photography), M. Shuiskaya-Arnov (pottery drawing) and L. Kupershmidt (metallurgical laboratory).

In September-December 2013, a trial excavation was conducted on the hill of Giv'at Rabbi and to its east (Permit No. A-6905; map ref. 225446-7063/736500-7573), prior to widening Highway 79 and developing the junction at the entrance to Nazareth and the city's industrial area. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by A. Yaroshevich (field and studio photography), with the assistance of M. Shemer, F. Abu Zidan, Y. Gur and R. Liran (area supervision), W. Atrash and Z. Horowitz (consultation), Y. Ya'aqobi and Y. Lavan (administration), R. Mishayev and M. Cohen (surveying and drafting), Y. Bibas (field photography) and F. Fartush of Skyview Company (aerial photography). Y. Gur performed a preliminary survey of the area.

In October 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted at Mishmar David (Permit No. A-8856; map ref. 190761–851/636412–505; Fig. 1) in preparation for the expansion of the kibbutz. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by A. Hamami, was directed by Y. Elisha, with the assistance of Y. Amrani and Z. Lotan (administration), R. Toueg and O. Danziger (preliminary inspections), I. Jonish (surveying and field photography), A. Peretz (field photography), M. Abu (plans), A. Dagot (GIS), S. Krispin (metal detection and field photography), M. Shuiskaya (pottery drawing), A. Glick (military finds), Y. Agmon (studio photography of military finds), Y.
