The 2021 6th International Symposium on Energy Science and Chemical Engineering (ISESCE 2021) was held on January 22-24, 2021 as a virtual conference due to the growing concerns over the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), and in order to protect the well-being of our attendees, partners, and staff as our number one priority. ISESCE 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of energy science and chemical engineering to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in energy science and chemical engineering and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in energy science and chemical engineering and related areas.This scientific event brings together more than 90 national and international researchers in energy science and chemical engineering. On top of the local participants coming from different national universities, international participants are also registered from different countries, namely Australia, Brazil, South Africa and Ireland. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given about 5-10 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. It is our great honor to welcome you to the 2020 International Symposium on New Energy and Electrical Technology (ISNEET 2020) held on September 18-20, 2020 in Changsha, China. ISNEET 2020 welcomes researchers, engineers, scientists and industry professionals to an open forum where advances in the field of New Energy and Electrical Technology can be shared and examined. The conference is an ideal platform for keeping up with advances and changes to a consistently morphing field. Leading researchers and industry experts from around the globe will be presenting the latest studies through papers and oral presentations.The meeting consists of two parts: oral presentations and speeches of keynote speakers. More than 50 participants attended the meeting. We were greatly honored to have invited Dr. Thanikaivelan Palanisamy from CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute, India to serve as our Conference Chairs.In the keynote presentations part, we invited three professors as our keynote speakers. Our beloved Conference Chair, Dr. Thanikaivelan Palanisamy was also invited to present his talk Collagen Derived Advanced Materials for Energy and Environmental Applications. His research proposed new avenues for converting industrial bio-wastes into useful multifunctional advanced materials based on nanoscience approach are scalable and inexpensive thereby minimizing pollution and maximizing environmental sustainability. Dr. Ruomei Li, our second keynote speakers, from Tsinghua University, China presented her latest research: The Role of Human Nature in the Energy Revolution. Her speech had mainly analyzed the negative reactions from different sectors of the energy industry in facing the challenge of energy revolution, and Point out that those are the natural reflection of human nature. The last keynote speaker was Prof. Deng Feng, Changsha University of Science and Technology, China. Her speech topic is: Key technology of high precision real-time monitoring and control in the distribution network. This talk aimed to introduce the key technology of high precision real-time monitoring and control in the distribution network which has promoted significantly the scientific and technological progress in the field of distribution network safety monitoring, which is significant in reducing the hidden danger of personal equipment, reducing power outage, improving the utilization rate of equipment and improving the quality of people’s production and life.ISNEET 2020 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of New Energy and Electrical Technology to a common forum. Therefore, we compiled a lot of excellent papers featuring the latest advanced studies on the following topics: New energy resources, Electrical Systems, Energy Science and Energy Technology, Energy management and other related topics. PREFACEThe 1st International Conference on Functional Materials and Chemical Engineering (ICFMCE 2017) was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 24-26 November 2017.The objective was to provide a forum for professional researchers – scientists and engineers – from the fields of functional materials and chemical engineering as well as mechanical design, manufacture and automation. We are glad to introduce you that the 2020 International Conference on Green Chemical and Environmental Science (ICGCES 2020), supported by AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center, was successfully held on June 12, 2020. In light of worldwide travel restriction and the impact of COVID-19, ICGCES 2020 was carried out in the form of virtual conference to avoid personnel gatherings. Because most participants were still highly enthusiastic about participating in this conference, we chose to carry out ICGCES 2020 via online platform according to the original schedule instead of postponing it. ICGCES 2020 aimed to provide a flexible platform for experts and scholars in the field of Green Chemical and Environmental Science to disseminate the latest research achievements and advanced technologies, as well as to promote the cooperation between each other.We are greatly honored to have invited Prof. Jieshan Qiu, the Dean of College of Chemical Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), to serve as our Conference Chair. Prof. Qiu is an internationally-recognized expert in chemical engineering, whose research areas cover both fundamental and applied aspects of carbon materials and science, with a focus on the methodologies for producing carbon materials from coal and coal-derived by-products such as coal tar pitch, and their applications in energy storage and conversion (solar cells, supercapacitor and batteries, etc.), catalysis and environment protection.During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. The first two parts were conducted via online collaboration tool, Zoom, while the online discussion was carried out through instant communication tool, WeChat. COMMENCING in October 1948, King‘s College, Newcastle upon Tyne, will offer a two-year postgraduate course in chemical engineering leading to the degree of master of science in chemical engineering of the University of Durham. The course will be available to graduates in mechanical engineering or to those who possess some equivalent degree or qualification. The opportunity has been taken to link With chemical engineering the teaching of fuel technology, which has hitherto been carried out by individual departments as required. The main subjects of study during the course will include, in the field of chemical engineering, materials of construction and the design of chemical plant, the flow of fluids and the transfer of heat and matter and the various unit operations. The fuel technology course will include the fuel industries, steam, power and industrial gases. A series of lectures will also be given on the economic, legal, health and safety aspects of chemical engineering. Practical work will be carried out in a new fuel technology laboratory and in a new chemical engineering laboratory which will house a number of small-scale plants.

The 2024 2nd International Conference on Chemical, Energy Science and Environmental Engineering (CESEE 2024) was successfully held in Rome, Italy during June 21-23, 2024. This conference aimed to provide an attractive platform for academics, scientists, researchers, experts to express and discuss their interests in chemical, energy and environmental engineering. More than 40 participants from 19 countries attended the conference, which together constitute a diversified and energetic international academic atmosphere. The conference invited three renowned speakers to share their latest research, to include Prof. Jan Baeyens from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China and KU Leuven, Belgium; Prof. Martin Schiemann from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany and Prof. Soufiane Haddout from Ibn Tofail University, Morocco. Each speaker has delivered a 40-minute keynote. The conference also had 2 technical oral sessions and 1 poster session. CESEE 2024 became an effective communication platform for all the participants who took the opportunity to share their research results and discuss potential scientific and engineering developments from their work. This contributed to the success of the conference. All papers in the proceedings have passed the vigorous peer-review process by the technical program committee and professional reviewers. The variety of research topics presented at the conference and their novelty exhibited in the papers as published in the proceedings demonstrated the impact of CESEE 2024. We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported CESEE 2024. Each individual and institutional help was very important for the success of this conference. FOR THE PAST 100 YEARS, THE FUNdamental definition of chemical engineering has remained the same: engineers take chemistry out of the laboratory and into the factory and the world around us, according to the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), the primary professional society for chemical engineers. But over the course of a century, things are bound to change. During the past few decades, an increasing amount of the basic research in chemical engineering, like chemistry, has been done with an eye toward developing useful end products, especially in materials science and in biomedical areas. An affirmation of this shift was a daylong symposium in late April at Tufts University titled and Biological Engineering: The Paradigm Evolves. The 2020 International Conference on Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Automation (IoTAIMA 2020) was held in Hangzhou, China at July 10-12, 2020. Although the impact of covid-19, most participants were still highly enthusiastic about participating in this conference. In order to comply with the control and prevention of the pandemic covid-19, IoTAIMA 2020 was adjusted to be held with combining online conference with offline conference to avoid crowd gathering and physical contact. About the offline conference, we held the opening ceremony in the meeting room of Relax Hotel through live video. Due to the impact of the epidemic and travel restrictions, more than 10 participants came to the venue, and the rest of the participants attended the conference via online collaboration tool, Zoom. The 2022 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2022), hosted by Changchun University of Science and Technology, was successfully held on August 19-21, 2022 in Changchun, China as a virtual event. Aiming to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications to a common forum, ICAITA 2022 promoted research and developmental activities in this field.We had the honor of having invited Professor Huamin Yang from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Professor Shoufeng Tong from Changchun University of Science and Technology, and Professor Zhijun Zhang from South China University of Technology to serve as our General Conference Chairs. The online conference was composed of keynote speeches, oral presentations, and online Q&A discussion, attracting 120 individuals worldwide. Moreover, Prof. Shujun Li from University of Kent, UK made a report on When Humans and Computers Come Together: A New or Resurged Old Research Paradigm? He studied the historical roots of key concepts of putting humans and computers together and application backgrounds of such topics and concepts, and made his attempt on connecting many of them. Last but not least, Prof. Zhigeng Pan from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, China shared with us his research: Application of VR/AR and AI to Education in Metaverse, in which he briefly introduced VR/AR/Human-Computer Interaction technologies in the metaverse and discussed the application of these technologies in smart education. Their dramatic keynote speeches had triggered heated discussion. Besides, every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge.The proceedings of ICAITA 2022 are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. ISAEECE 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of electrical, electronics and computer engineering to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in electrical, electronics and computer engineering and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in electrical, electronics and computer engineering and related areas.The conference model was divided into two sessions, including oral presentations and keynote speeches. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given 15 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches. In this conference, we were greatly honor to have invited four outstanding researchers to serve as our Conference Chairman.During the conference, we invited three industry elites to present their insightful speeches. The first keynote speaker, Dr. Sunil Kumar Jha, from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He presented a speech: Data Fusion Approaches in Human Body Odor Data Mining. The objective of the present research talk is to introduce audience about the data fusion and human body odor and to demonstrate research results related to search for an optimal subset of VOCs in body odor, which can produce differentiation in an individual by using the combination of analytical methods and chemometric analysis. The second keynote speaker, Prof. Chunbo Xiu, from Tiangong University, China. He shared a speech on his specialty related to Memristive Cellular Neural Network & Its Dynamic Characteristic Analysis. He demonstrated that chaotic memristive CNN system can be used in the secure communication by the chaos synchronization based on sliding mode control. Assoc. Prof. Pavel Loskot, from Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI), our third keynote speakers. He presented a speech: Monte Carlo Simulations Revisited. Their insightful speeches made every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful knowledge.We were glad to share with you that we received lots of submissions from the conference and we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. These papers feature following topics but are not limited to: Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and other related topics. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard.We were grateful to the International/National advisory committee, keynote speakers, session chairs, organising committee members, student volunteers and administrative assistance of the management section of University, including accounts section, digital media and publication house. Also, we were thankful to all the authors for contributing large number of papers in the conference, because of which the conference became a story of success.
